It’s open until 1st March 2018, it’s open to everyone, and last year we got about 10,000 participants – you can see the results here.
After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a blog post summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.
If you think you might have followers who’d be interested, please do reblog this blog post, retweet this tweet or boost this Mastodon post. Every share is extremely helpful – it’s what helped us get 10,000 responses last year.
Hello Anon! I am terribly sorry for that, we might have missed it, or tumblr ate it…
Anyways! There aren’t any genders that we know of that are tied to lonliness. You can always coin a term though!
Hope this helps!

Thanks to Mod Jace/Alec, we’ve been able to get through a lot of your asks! However, there have been a lot of requests piling up and, as I’ve stated, requests are still closed!
So I have cleared out the inbox entirely. Please do not send us any requests for the time being! You may still ask questions, but the other mods and I need to finish the current requests we have on our Request List.
Thank you everyone!

Hello Alumence! There isn’t a current term for this, (at least not that we have found), would you like to coin one?
Of course! You can always coin your own gender! It sounds similar to Mosaigender, but if you feel its different enough from that, then go ahead! 🙂
Hello Anon! No your gender doesn’t sound like it is a troll! There is a xenogender that encompasses all genders related to music or music theory called musicgender. I hope this helps!

Hello Anon! There are achillean, mlm, and proquu ~ . There are other terms to describe non binary people who are attracted to men, but not specifically masculine non binary people. If you could like those terms please come back!

Hello Anon! There is a term for wanting no genitalia call Angenital. I do want to remind you that genitalia does not mean gender. (sex =/= gender). If you still feel a connection to man/boyhood, then you could call yourself ftm, demiboy, agender, ect. If your gender fluctuates from boy to agender, then you might want to consider the term boyflux/mascflux.
Hope this helps!
Mod Alec
Hello Anon! Although I am not quite sure if you are asking for a gender term or something else, but I do want to remind you that everyone has on and off days with dysphoria. I would say that the Agender (a lacking of gender) spectrum might suite you. If you would like to know more identities on the agender spectrum or clarify what you are asking, please come back!

This concept, like that of feminamoric, is intended for non-binary or genderqueer people who have trouble fitting themselves into the straight-gay binary as a result of not fitting into the male-female binary.”

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all having a good day today.
We’ve been getting some inappropriate asks again, so I’m making this post as a reminder that we:
1) Do not deal with the making of flags for fetishes or kinks. Do not ask us to make a flag for these, and do not ask us if there is already an existing flag for yours or what yours would be called. These asks will not be answered. The only flag blog I know of that deals with making these is kinkflagsrus, so please take any questions or requests about those there (obviously, its 18+).
2) Do not, and will never, make flags for incest, pedophilia, or zoophilia. Please do not send asks relating to these, they are highly inappropriate and especially uncomfortable for those who have trauma relating to them.
Thanks all!
-Fy
My friend couldn’t really find anything that fit them in terms of gender so, they made their own term of how they felt with themself and I made the flag for them!!
Tempugender: a gender that changes over the course of the day, fading by with every hour. (for ex: at night you feel agender, but you slowly fade into a female as the hours pass by)
Hey there! My name is Mage. I identify as genderfluid (he/they/it), abrosexual, demipanromantic, and polyamorous. I’m a mod at Beyond-MOGAI-Pride-Flags. I decided to make this positivity blog because of the amount of hate for the MOGAI community in LGBT spaces.
With this blog, I hope to make people feel comfortable as a member of the MOGAI community and educate those who willfully seek out information about any aspect of the MOGAI community.
I will take requests for aesthetics/moodboards, advice, and pronoun validation. I can even help you find your identity. I’ll have a queue filled with positive affirmations, sometimes for specific identities.
This blog will be wholly discourse-free and I will not respond to hate. If you want to avoid hate entirely, I suggest staying away from the notes sections.
I hope I will be nothing but help to the MOGAI community ♥
Follow my MOGAI positivity blog if you want!

Hello! Here are some that could fit that description!

I hope these help you, even though they are not exactly what you decribed. If needed, please come back and I will try again!

Hello Anon!
There are a few options that you could choose from!
Polysexual ~ feeling attraction to some but not all genders
Panaesthetic attraction ~ being attracted to all genders aesthetically (which is the attraction of how someone looks
You could use both, either, or neither. It’s up to you! Hope this helped or at least steered you in the right direction. If not just drop by again!
The dark reds are the shades associated with Gaara. The light blue is his eye color and the dark grey is the dark circles around his eyes. The stripe and circle in the middle are the color of his sand gourd. And of course we included the kanji, meaning “love.”
Henlo! I’m the third (and late hhgh) mod! Please call me Mage (not my real name). I’m genderfluid FtM and abrosexual and use any pronouns except she/her. I run another pride flag blog (for otherkin) at kinflags-r-us also! I look forward to helping everyone out to the best of my abilities!
Hello, I’m one of the three new mods.. My name is Kitty, I’m a boy, and gay. I’m really glad to be on board with this blog, it seems like fun and all! I’m very, very paranoid, and won’t use my real name or post my real blog here, but I hope to get to know some of the followers on this blog!! ❤ ❤
Nox Vampire: An individual who identifies with a vampire on some level (spiritual or other) who gets their energy from being exposed (directly or indirectly) by the night sky (and sometimes, by tangent, the moon). Some Nox Vampires feel most energetic by full moons and least energetic by new moons.
The colors for the flag is based on different “night sky” color palettes
Hey folks! I am one of the new mods! (yay much excitement!) So I wanted you to know some things about myself!
My name is Jace and Alec. I answer to both, but I might prefer one over the other, SO just have a heads up for either of those and that’s me. I use ve/ver and he/him pronouns. I am trans masculine (Pre T Pre Op), Abrogender, Abrosexual, Abroromantic, and polyamorous (DADT to be specific). I am Otherkin (polymorphkin) and am open to every type of kin (reguardless of what everyone else says). I have been professionally diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and self diagnosed with a Dissossiative Disorder. I am very open about everything and am willing to teach and spread my knowledge. My personal blog is @the-enby-witch but it doesn’t really have a lot on there that is my own.
I hope that I will be a useful part of the group and I can help all of you. Good byr for now!
I just sent out the invites to our new mods. There will be 3 new mods, making us a team of 6!
I couldn’t pick anymore than 3, so if you haven’t been chosen as a mod this time, be sure to try again next time we need some!
They will be making their introductions as soon as they have the chance to, and then will start making flags and helping our followers!
Hope everyone has a good day!

Angenital: An identity in which you feel uncomfortable (potentially dysphoric) with having any sort of genitalia (sex) at all but do not mind gendered pronouns or having a gender label. You have a desire to be sexless but not necessarily genderless. Similar term is Nullo (where you want to get rid of your “sexed” organs, such as nipples and/or genitalia, a severe form of body modification).
-Vasilisa
Creaturomantic: Being ROMANTICALLY attracted towards characters that you create (literature/writing, visual arts, etc.). Flag taken from a scrap on pride-flags on DeviantArt
-Vasilisa
Creatusexual: Being sexually attracted towards characters that you create (literature/writing, visual arts, etc.). Flag taken from a scrap on pride-flags on DeviantArt
Teratosexual/Monstrosexual: Attraction to monsters
SORRY FOR THE CRAPPY DRAFT
This is for Asexy! I wanted to use the same colors for asexual, but in a different way. Purple is a common color in flags for sexuality, so I used it for the outer layers to represent as being sexually appealing. The white represents having lack of attraction, and the black represents the inner dislike of being shown sexual attraction!
So like this?
Asexy: people who are physically attractive, but are asexual and don’t want any sexual attraction felt towards them.
I don’t lol. We get those sorts of comments everyday. It’s just best to not give them any attention. This blog is for those who actually enjoy it and find its services useful, so any hateful messages we get in the inbox are immediately deleted.
Exactly, Abro- is definitely not the same as Bi- or Pan-. No one knows your orientation better than you do, and there are plenty of people who are accepting of orientations such as Abro-. 🙂
When one’s gender expression changes while their gender stays static. The individual would feel they couldn’t accurately express themselves with the presentation traditionally assigned to their gender.
I’m really sorry to hear that. It can be pretty disheartening when people take advantage of what we offer, wasting the little time we have to even run our blogs, just to turn around and laugh at us. Don’t be discouraged though! There are plenty of people who appreciate resources like ours, so just keep doing what you’re doing! 🙂
So you could look into other orientations other than -sexual or -romantic! So perhaps you’re Fictoaesthetic. And if you only feel like cuddling, perhaps look into -sensual orientations. 🙂
Other people… other than yourself? I’ve heard the term “ectosexual” used before to describe people who aren’t autosexual, but I haven’t seen it used much.
You can usually put Grey- before different orientations, so perhaps something like Grey-Toric or Grey-Viramoric? These are all pretty new terms, so if you feel like something doesn’t quite fit there’s always room for more specific terms!
Colorgender: A gender associated with one or more colors and the feelings, hues, emotions, and/or objects associated with that color. Can be used like pinkgender, violetgender, etc.
I don’t think so, but there’s also the terms Glaciogender or Frigusgender that you could look into if you’re interested!
Frigusgender: A gender where one feels a strong chilliness and a strong connection to multiple genders (at least two) or none at all and identifies with feeling cold and blue inside.
Glaciogender: A gender that is smooth, has a clear or flat feel, and cool, like the icy surface of a glacier.
Edit: I forgot to mention Freezegender or Frostgender, check those out too!
If it involves marriage, then it is a form of polygamy, since that is marriage to multiple people. If its just a relationship without marriage, then its just a form of polyamory.
Some people were wanting more information on what exactly a Line Relationship (or Line Family) is, so I reached out to creator of the flag and this is what they had to say:
“I can’t believe I have to explain this, but Line Relationships (otherwise known as Line Marriages or Line Families) have nothing at all to do with pedophilia. Every member involved must be a consenting adult just like in any non-monogamous relationship, or any relationship for that matter. It’s a form of Group Marriage in which the family unit continues to add new spouses of any gender over time so that the marriage does not end. It’s not exactly common, but it has fuck-all to do with pedos. No children are involved in the relationship, all members MUST BE consenting adults.”
Hopefully that helps clear some misconceptions up.

Mod name change!
Hey everyone!
I will be changing my signing name. It will go from SynHeart to Vasilisa, pronounced Va-si-li-sa. I’ve been wanting to change it for awhile, I was just looking for a perfect name fit. I’m adopted out of Moscow, Russia, and wanted to honor Russia.
Pyroshift (gender): A gender that acts as a flame. It can flicker to feeling varying degrees of masculine and/or feminine for short periods of time, yet it generally settles right back down into a neutral, burning, and calm state. The intensity of the gender you feel shifts with how hot this flame is.
Geographical Non-Monogamy: Any relationship or arrangement whose partners permit one another to have other sexual partners while they are physically apart. Sometimes carries an understanding that when the couple is physically together again, the relationship will become monogamous, though not necessarily.
Casual Relationship (also called Friends with Benefits or No Strings Attached): A relationship in which two or more people establish a friendship that includes sex or sexual activity, but without romantic love and typically without the same type or degree of expectations or other practical or emotional entanglements that typically accompany romantic relationships. More of a physical and emotional relationship between two or more people who may have casual sex or a near-sexual relationship without necessarily demanding or expecting the extra commitments of a more formal romantic relationship.
Singleish: a non-monogamous attitude towards intimate relationships where an individual, not in any form of primary, committed intimate or romantic relationship, wishes to experience dating or seeing multiple people at the same time, with no expectation of long term commitments. Such an individual is differentiated from being a ‘player’ through the honesty and integrity they bring to their dating approach, without concealing any of the relationships from the other people they are seeing.
Because I (Fy) am the only one with access to the inbox and I go to school and have a job. I do love running this blog, but I can’t let it get in the way of those other things. I try to get easy-to-answer questions out of the way, but for tougher questions I need to do a little research. I’m sorry I’m taking so long, I’ll try to get through them faster.
I don’t know of any as of yet, but that definitely sounds like a useful idea for some aspec people! If you’d like to coin a term for it, that’d be great!
I was thinking about this one, and maybe Histori- would work?
I know there’s an aspec identity where you are asexual but can have sex for recreational purposes, but I can’t seem to remember which one it was so hopefully one of our followers can leave the answer in the notes!
I don’t know of any term like that at the moment, but you should coin it!! 😀
It sounds similar, but not quite the same. Recipro- would be if person a were only attracted to person b once person b was attracted to person a, so this sounds a bit different.
If you’re also a girl, then you could go with homoflexible. If you’re a guy, you could go with heteroflexible. If you’re nonbinary… perhaps womaflexible?
Is there a flag for people who are attracted, not just sexually, but romantically attracted to fictional characters, whether it be from books, movies, TV, or any other form of media?
Plura-: being on the aspec and the mspec at the same orientation; a mix of a- and multi-/pluri- or someone who is a- and multi- at the same time.
It’s very similar to schro-. It also can be an umbrella for all plural asexualities (or aromanticities, asensualities, aqps, apls, etc), ex.: grey-panromantics, demi-polysexual, fray-omniqueerplatonic…
The colors are muted versions of the 3 basic colors (red, blue, and yellow) with green representing an affinity. The cube represents a basic object.

The blues represent the vagueness of some concepts. The purple is the concepts that manifest into this plane. The thought bubble represents the concepts.

Here’s just a few examples of some of @kinflags-r-us amazing flags!
I don’t know of any as of yet, but that definitely sounds like a useful idea for some aspec people! If you’d like to coin a term for it, that’d be great!
Oh okay, so like a relationship between a pansexual man and bisexual woman, for example? That’s actually a really interesting idea, I’m on board.
It should certainly also include, I should think, those who are perhaps not binary but who are in relationships that would be considered “straight” depending on what that person’s gender is (so for example a genderfluid multisexual person who’s gender is female at a particular point in time, and they are dating a multisexual man)
Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to a new pride flag blog that makes pride flags for Alterhuman Personal Identities! @kinflags-r-us makes flags for all sorts of identities, including fictionkin, factkin, conceptkin, detitykin, and many more!
