Fatherlessness: without father(s) (apaternal, unpaternal, nonpaternal, or inpaternal/impaternal/ipaternal).
Motherless Pride Flag
ALT
Motherlessness: without mother(s) (amaternal, unmaternal, nonmaternal, or immaternal/imaternal).
Inclusive of single-parented (monoparental) people, anaparental people, orphans, semiorphans, adoptees who reclaim these, those whose guardians are not their parents, and unipersonal families (uniparental).
Xeniric is an umbrella term to describe any attraction to xenogender/xenine individuals, and a standalone term as a non-straight identity. Anyone who experiences attraction to xenine/xenogender individuals can use this term.
Xenine equivalent to mascic, femaric, and enboric.

Erotic Attraction: circulation of centralized expressions, appreciation for sexual arts or a desire to know someone using one’s senses through explicitly sexual acts (such as gouinage). Considered a mix of aesthetic, sensual, and sexual attraction. Sometimes it describes sexual desire (as in autoerotic).
This version of the intersex liberation (interliberationist) flag, made as an SVG by yours truly, is available for free to use as public domain. The SVG file is on Wikimedia Commons. 💜
I don’t know if the copyright claim would actually hold up in Dutch (or international) law, but the very fact that they’re even trying means that the NNID intersex liberation flag is off-limits for uploading to places like Wikimedia Commons.
Personally, I think claiming copyright over power fist imagery goes against the very spirit of the symbols. 🧐
I very designed my version to be in the style of transfeminist symbolism. It is intentionally different from the NNID design: the power fist is placed entirely within the centre ring of the flag. (The NNID version has the fist coming out of the bottom of the canvas, aligning the lower fingers with the ring.)
You are free to use, share, remix, and do whatever you want with my version. No credit is needed. I’m pretty sure the idea of a power fist combined with the intersex flag predates the NNID flag, so if anybody has leads on older uses/designs I’d love to know about that history! 💜
perisex is a collection of müllerian and wolffian traits commonly seen in parallel with each other. perisex is also referred to as endosex, which is anything and anyone who is not definitively intersex.
müllerian variations :
müllerian indication – developed müllerian ducts and other sex traits commonly associated with the female assignment.
indication does not mean female or afab, and only specifies that one has indication of those traits.
—
protomüllerian cluster – current sex traits that align with femaleness.
protomüllerian clusters include XX chromosomes, enlarged breasts, proneness to wider hips, presence of vulva and uterus, frequent menstruation, higher estrogen.
—
altermüllerian cluster – current sex traits that are voluntarily altered from femaleness.
altermüllerian clusters include altered breasts, modified vulva and/or uterus, infrequent menstruation, change in hormonal balance.
wolffian variations :
wolffian indication – developed wolffian ducts and other sex traits commonly associated with the male assignment.
indication does not mean male or amab, and only specifies that one has indication of those traits.
—
protowolffian cluster – current sex traits that align with maleness.
protowolffian clusters include XY chromosomes, broadening of breasts/chest, proneness to smaller hips, presence of the penis and vas deferens, larger adams apple, higher testosterone.
—
alterwolffian cluster – current sex traits that are voluntarily altered from maleness.
alterwolffian clusters include alteration of breasts/chest, modified penis and/or vas deferens, altered adams apple, change in hormonal balance.
Pretty simple, I basically just combined all the original stripes into one flag, and for the colours that were similar, I mixed them into one stripe.
For the transn’t flags, they technically should also have a white stripe, but I wanted to keep it centered / balance feeling, so I combined it with the yellow stripes (closest colour visually I’d say). I also think this helps it be more distinct.
Postcoital Tristesse / Postcoital Dysphoria: A condition marked by feelings of melancholy, agitation, anxiety or sadness after intercourse that can last between five minutes and two hours. Sometimes there are tears. May overlap with post-nut clarity.

Hon Pride Flag
Hon (derogatory/reclaimed): term targeting transfeminine individuals or transgender women who do not “pass”, usually due to late transition or age.
Gynophobia Flags
ALTALT
Androphobia Flags
Gynephobia (gynephobe, gynephobic, gynephobiac, ginephobia, ginefobia), gynophobia (gynophobiac, gynophobic, gynophobe, ginophobia, ginofobia), gynecophobia (gynecophobic, gynecophobiac, gynecophobe), gynaecophobia (gynaecophobe, gynaecophobiac, gynaecophobic, gynæcophobia, gynæcophobic, gynæcophobiac, gynæcophobe) or phobogyny (phobogynist, phobogyne, phobogynic, or phobogynous): fear of women.
Androphobia (androphobic, androphobe, androphobiac) or phobandry (phobandrous, phobandre, phobandric, or phobandrist): fear of men.
Not to be confused with misogyny/gynomisia or misandry/andromisia (opposites of philogyny or philandry), these are the counterparts of gynephilia or androphilia. These are also clinical phobias. Based on this.
(Please read and reblog our intersex guide, by the way! Its important to educate yourself and spread awareness!)
Neurosex
Neurosex: A term describing a varsex person whose neurodivergence is linked to their sex in some way. This could be an altersex person who feels as though their sex identity is directly correlated to neurodivergence, or an intersex person whose variation caused neurodivergence.
A few examples include the following:
-An intersex person with a chromosomal variation, and the chromosomes caused a developmental condition as well as their sex-traits.
-An intersex person with hypergonadism/hypogonadism or otherwise atypical-levels of hormones, who experiences a mood disorder or sexual disorder as a result.
-An altersex person who experiences sex-repulsion as a result of their neurodivergence, and identifies on the sexless spectrum because of that (such as desiring for their genitals or reproductive organs to be removed, so that sexual urges will dissipate.)
-An altersex person who feels as though they are xenosex due to one of their hyperfixations/special-interests, and desire to have sex traits relating to that interest.
-A system that is nonhuman-heavy, and desires for their shared body to be mythicsex as a result.
This term was requested by a user that wishes to remain anonymous.
The colors of the flag are taken from the neurodivergent flag. It takes the format of the varsex flag. The neurodivergent infinity symbol is also present.
Invisiex: An altersex term, describing someone that desires one or more of their sex traits to be invisible, either solely to other people or to themself as well. When referring specifically to genitals, the term Invisigenital is used instead.
Invisifluid is used to describe someone that desires the ability to turn one or more of their sex traits invisible at will.
Invisixenive: An altersex term, describing someone that desires for their gonads or reproductive organs to be invisible, or to turn invisible at will. This generally refers to people with descended testes/ovotestes, however it could also apply to non-humans within systems, whose innerworld body is see-through in some way, or otherwise visible by outsiders, and they wish they could hide it.
Invisiex, invisifluid, and invisixenive is not the same as desiring retractable genitals, as the terms morphisex and morphixenive would be used instead.
The invisiex & invisigenital flag uses shades of bluish-grey to symbolize different levels of visibility.
The invisifluid flag follows a similar format to the invisiex flag, except bottom half of the flag inverts the top half, representing fluidity. There are also arrows within the altersex symbol to represent fluidity as well.
The invisixenive flag follows the theme of the other transreproductive flags.
___________
Objectex, Objenital, & Objectoxenive/Obxenive
Objectex: An altersex term, describing someone that desires one or more of their sex traits to be objects or object-like. For example, a person that desires a sex-toy in place of their genitals, or somebody that desires an inflatable chest. When referring specifically to genitals, the term Objenital is used instead. Cyberex and machinex might be considered subsets of this.
Objectoxenive: An altersex term, describing someone that desires for their gonads or reproductive organs to be objects or object-like. For example, a person that desires a toy uterus. Technoxenive might be considered a subset of this.
The objectex & objenital flag uses yellow to represent childhood-themed objects, brownish-yellow to represent adult-themed objects, dark green to represent objects formed through nature, brown is for culturally-themed objects, black is for non-tangible objects, and the white sparkle is for fictional objects.
The objectoxenive/obxenive flag follows the same theme as the other transreproductive flags. The teddybear represents childhood-themed objects/toys. The sparkler represents holiday-themed objects. The pot represents decorative objects. The couch represents furniture. The moon, star, sun, and planet represent space-themed objects. The buildings represent construction and location-based or cultural-based objects. The screw, nut, gear, telephone, and screen represent technology. The rocks and plant represents nature-based objects. The paper, paintbrush, and pencil represent art. The arrow represents weaponry. It also uses similar symbols to the luduace flag, to represent adult-themed objects.
___________
Xenochest: An altersex term, describing someone that desires a chest/breasts and/or nipples that are “unusual.” (For example, desiring a chest made of clouds.)
for colors red is used to resent for sex, dark red is used to resent anxiety as premature ejaculation can often be related to anxiety disorders, the greens are there because from what I could find is seems like the awareness ribbon for sexual dysfunctions is green. The light gray is just there to make the colors work better together
To this day, many intersex people are mutilated as infants or toddlers.
From malevolent attempts to make their bodies more visually appealing to completely forcing them into a male/female binary.
Please do not just use our suffering as a ‘gotcha’ moment to own TERFS and other fascists. Please do not forget about us.
Edit: Also, not all parents know what is done to their child. Sometimes, they are lied to, and they are told that the surgery is necessary or even life-saving. Sometimes they are left completely oblivious, like in my case.
Having your child under the care of female staff/doctors does NOT matter. The surgeon who decided to operate on me was female.
For better readability:
Sometimes they can’t wait to clip your wings.
I was two days old.
I was supposed to be a moth.
Instead I had to be pretty.
I seek healing.
I denied the false cocoon.
I’d rather be a clipped moth than a forced butterfly.
I sadly do not know how to properly ID something. Other users have reblogged with IDs however, thank you for your work.

i have been struggling with finding a term that accurately fits my identity, and since it’s easy to go back and forth between terminology, finding something that describes you without having to dictate what you are is mind-blowing.
kafin does just that. i am a kafin. i am not defined by womanhood, manhood, nonbinary, abinary, midbinary, and any other label that may decide for me how i present, how i look, how i am, and what i experience.
kafine are not restricted to experiencing or only being one way, our identity is fluid and it is everchanging because it represents us and us alone. kafine have the ability to experience all and everything related to gender and presentation while not being any and all of the identities.
we are who we are, not restricted to one experience. we are fluid. kafin is fluid through all experiences.
Fuck it. Genderqueer tranvestic flag because that’s what feels closest to me.

I listed some examples, but other terms can be used too, as long as they have the same / similar meaning (e.g. multiaphorian instead of multiabinary).
Though I wrote them all as single terms, I suppose they can called multigender [term] and polygender [term] too (e.g. multigender enban instead of multienban). The short forms are just what I thought of first, but upon thinking about it more, I don’t see why the longer names wouldn’t work too.
You could also shorten them if you want (e.g. multixeno instead of multixenogender).
-✦
Also, I think these terms can include a lot of different experiences (any combination of multigender/polygender and the specific gender label listed), so I won’t be listing specific definitions.

For the flags, I followed a format of having multigender stripes on top (dark blue, lighter blue, and orange), with the respective gender’s stripes on the bottom. Specifically, I used this multigender flag edit (by @isobug) for the colours (same main colours as the original, just with nicer contrast).
Depending on the original flag, I combined the top colour with the bottom multigender orange stripe, if they’re similar enough visually (like the orange in nonbinary (second flag)). The multigender blue colours were edited a bit, to fit better with the other colours. And for some of them, I simplified the colours, they have as many stripes as in the original flag.
Special mention multitrinary and multiandrogyne, I went with a different style mimicking the original flags. Trinary used diagonal stripes, so I used diagonal stripes on the side here too. Same with androgyne, but with vertical stripes. For the trinary/androgyne colours that are already similar to the multigender colours (so blue and grey), I combined them into the 3 horizontal multigender stripes, and put the rest off to the side. It’s a lot like what I did in my butch/futch/femme/+ flags (not that these are butch/futch/femme flags). I just think it’s a unique format, and I like how it flows.
spectrosexual is the attraction to folkloric ghosts. i specify folklore because not all ghosts are fictional, and the assumption that ghost partners are fictional are not always received well. many enths are also witches or practice witchcraft, which adds to the mythology/folklore aspect rather than a fictional aspect.
not all enths like dead bodies, and those who do shouldn’t use the term to mean the attraction towards the dead. ghosts themselves are not exactly dead but are the shadows of a spirit, which is a separate entity from it’s body.
spectrosexual relationships are often called “spirit relationships” or “ghost relationships” and involve at least a ghost and a person. to introduce new language, we can use the term “binding” to refer to those relationships. “my binding to her was fun while it lasted,” or “their binding is cute.”
a ghost lover or partner could be known as a “spiramor”. “my spiramor is coming with me today,” and “he’s my spiramor.”
ghost marriage (posthumous marriage) is possible, even if not legally binding in many countries. These marriages usually involve a seance and a celebration if possible.
enths are considered asexual due to their attraction.

Trixenamorous; trixenamoric amory; feeling trixen amorous attraction; desiring/being capable of relationships with woman and/or non-binary folk(s).
Orgadic, also called Orgasex or Sexual Altersex, is a term for altersex people, whose main (or entire) reason for being altersex is for sexual reasons.
Some examples of this could include, but are not limited to: A trans person who is cissex because they are afraid of losing sexual feeling after bottom surgery. A cisgender woman who wants to have a penis so they don’t have to a strap-on. A person who want to be sexy to themselves and that involves having sexual characteristics they find desirable.
The term and flag were created by Tumblr user plurgai.
We decided to make flags for transreproductive terms! We included the definitions for ya’ll.
Transreproductive/Diffprodu
Meaning: A person that desires a different reproductive system to the one they currently have.
The purple represents androgynous-associated sex traits. The blue represents masculine-associated sex traits. The green represents neutral-associated sex traits. Yellow represents xenic-associated sex traits. White represents sex fluidity. Black represents the teresex (angenital, angonadal, and anutero) umbrella. Orange represents outherine-associated sex traits. Red represents feminine-associated sex traits. The shades of brown represent the BIPOC community. The pinkish symbols in the center of the flag represent the uterus/prostate and gonads.
Transgonadal/Diffgonadal
Meaning: A person that desires different gonads to the ones they were born with.
Transovarian/Diff-O
Meaning: A person that desires ovaries.
Transtesticular/Diff-T
Meaning: A person that desires testicles.
Transovicle/Diff-OT
Meaning: A person that desires a combination of testicles and ovaries.
Transute/Diffut
Meaning: A person that desires a different reproductive organ (prostate or uterus) than they were born with.
Transuteric/Diff-Ut
Meaning: A person that desires a uterus.
Transprostatic/Diff-Pro
Meaning: A person that desires a prostate.
Transxenive/Diffxeno/Xenogonadal
Meaning: A person that desires gonads or reproductive organs that are not currently known to be possible for human biology.
Astroxenive/Diffastro
Meaning: A person that desires gonads or reproductive organs that are related to space. For example, desiring two miniature planets as gonads.
Elexenive/Diffelem
Meaning: A person that desires gonads or reproductive organs that are related to elements/weather. For example, desiring a bubble instead of a uterus, and tornados instead of gonads.
Mythicxenive/Mythixenive/Mythoxenive/Diffmythic
Meaning: A person that desires gonads or reproductive organs that are related to mythology/mythic beings. For example, desiring a reproductive system found in a mythological being.
Faunaxenive/Diffauna
Meaning: A person that desires gonads or reproductive organs that are animalistic. For example, desiring a bird’s reproductive system.
Floraxenive/Difflora
Meaning: A person that desires gonads or reproductive organs that are plant-related. For example, desiring vines and fruit instead of fallopian tubes and ovaries.
Technoxenive/Difftech
Meaning: A person that desires gonads or reproductive organs that are mechanical, robotic, or digital. For example, desiring a reproductive organ that is made of metal and bolts.
Morphixenive/Diffmorphi
Meaning: A person that desires gonads or reproductive organs that can morph or retract. For example, desiring gonads that can shift between testes and ovaries.
Comboxenive/Diffcombo
Meaning: A person that desires gonads or reproductive organs that are a mixture not yet seen as biologically possible for humans. For example, a testicle that functions as a uterus (retracting into the inguinal canal when impregnated and growing a baby there.)
For the first combo, I used vertical stripes, to match how androgyne uses vertical stripes. I mixed the colours of both together (so the center dark grey stripe of cishet and purple of androgyne were combined into one grey purple stripe), and also flipped the colour order of cishet to match androgyne (so blue, purple, and closer to the middle, instead of green in the middle).
For the first het androgynous combo, I just mixed the black/grey/white stripes over the androgynous stripes/colours.
For the other het androgynous combos, I really mixed the colours together. But I couldn’t chose what colour to make the center stripe, green is pretty, but focusing more on the androgynous part with the light purplish pink would probably be nice. So I did one with a gradient of the straight light colour to the androgynous light colour, and another with just the androgynous center stripe.
subtliden: an umbrella term for identities such as mspec lesbian/veldian/gay/straight/etc., gaybian/velaurian/gayhet (straightbian/straightlaurian/straightdian), lesboy/turigirl, mesque, cistrans/transcis, transmasculine girl/transfeminine boy, and more; essentially a replacement/alternate term for ‘contradictory labels’.
Shola is an descriptor of the self that is neither man, woman or anything between the two.
Because gender in Dim-terra does not equal experiences (Auras describe experiences), genders are labels to how one wants to describe themselves (like pronouns), and the genders are called “descriptors” instead.
Shola is not neutral, is not transgender, is not cisgender, is not androgynous, is not bigender, and is not genderless.
Is exclusive to those in connection with the syncosm, Dim-terra.

Due to personal reasons, I really like the version @cocajimmycola’s twink flag/style when it came to these types of flags! So I made Hunk and Twunk versions of the flags based off it!
I just simplified/combined the chubby flag’s colours with the hunk flag’s bottom 2 stripes, since they both have brown colours there I think it’s mixes better.
Multigonadal: an altersex identity describing a person that desires more than two gonads. This could be ovaries, testes, ovotestes, or xenogonads.
The flag uses red to represent ovaries, blue to represent testes, yellow to represent xenogonads, and green to represent ovotestes. The three balls represent three gonads, and the + stands for those that want more than three gonads.
Multiutero: an altersex identity, describing a person that desires more than one uterus.
The flag uses shades of pink to represent the mullerian-associated organ. Red represents fertility. The two white shapes represent two uteruses, and the + stands for those that want more than two uteruses.
And finally, part 4! This covers the last of the formerly-flagless intersex variations/traits. (Here are parts one, two, and three.)
Now all of the main (discovered) traits/variations have been covered!
All thats left are hyper-specific conditions that can cause intersex traits/variations (such as “hand-foot-genital syndrome”), and we aren’t planning to make flags for those, as there are thousands of them.
Please read (and reblog) our intersex guide. It is so important to understand intersex people, their bodies, and their health!
The orange represents the urinary tract. The yellow circle crossed out represents incomplete or absent urethra.
Vaginal Hypoplasia

Imperforate Hymen
The X over the circle is meant to represent the hymen blocking the entry.
Microperforate Hymen
The X over the circle is meant to represent the hymen blocking the entry. Unlike the imperforate hymen flag, the X doesn’t cover the entire circle, which is meant to represent how the vagina is not fully covered.
Cribriform Hymen
The circle with the multiple Xs are meant to represent the small entrances in the hymen.
Septate Hymen
The circle with the slash through it is meant to represent the septate hymen stretched across the vaginal entrance, splitting the entrance in two.
Vaginal Septum
The symbol is a combination of the TVS, obstructed hemivagina, and LVS symbols. This flag is for those with any of those three variations.
Transverse Vaginal Septum (TVS)
The symbol is meant to represent the tissue running horizontally across the vaginal canal.
Obstructed Hemivagina
The symbol is meant to represent the hemivagina within the vaginal canal.
Longitudinal Vaginal Septum (LVS)

Labial Hypoplasia
The first flag is when both of the labia are absent. The second flag is when only one of the labia is absent.
Clitoral Hypoplasia
The little black triangle represents the small clitoris.
Clitoral Aplasia
The X over the triangle represents the lack of clitoris.
Penile Agenesis
The X over the triangle represents the lack of penis.
Congenital Buried Penis
The triangle under the line represents the penis buried beneath the skin.

Microorchidism
The small circle with the minus symbol represents the microtestes. The large circle surrounding it represents the typical/average teste-size.
Cryptorchidism
The black line represents where the teste is expected to be. The black circle being within the grey, away from both the pink and the line, represents the teste being elsewhere within the body.
Part 3 of making flags for intersex traits and variations that were flagless! (Here are part one and two.) There will be a part 4 and then all the main intersex traits/variations will officially have flags.
Please read (and reblog) our intersex guide. It is so important to understand intersex people, their bodies, and their health!

The shades of blue represents the male-like anatomy of those with this variation. The purple and yellow represents how this variation is intersex.
XXXYY Syndrome
The blue represents male-like anatomy (testes and androgens as the main sex hormone, as well as the possibility of a penis/micropenis.) Grey represents hypoandrogenism. Yellow represents how this variation is intersex. Pink represents female-like anatomy (such as breasts and potentially vulval traits.) Purple represents androgynous sex traits and potential ambiguous genitalia. The symbol represents the chromosomes of those with this variation.
XXXY Syndrome
The blue represents male-like anatomy. Grey represents hypoandrogenism. Yellow represents how this variation is intersex. Pink represents female-like anatomy. The purple and yellow represents how this variation is intersex.
De La Chapelle Syndrome
The shades of blue represents the male-like anatomy, despite the two X chromosomes. The purple and yellow represent how this variation is intersex.
Part 2 of making flags for intersex traits and variations that were flagless! (Part one is here.) There will be a part 3 & 4 and then all the main intersex traits/variations will officially have flags.
Please read (and reblog) our intersex guide. It is so important to understand intersex people, their bodies, and their health!
Accessory Ovary
The flag is based on the uterus didelphys and polyorchidism flags. The A is meant to represent the name of this variation. The three circles are meant to represent ovaries. The plus symbol is meant to stand for people who have more than one accessory ovary (aka 3+ ovaries.)
Supernummary Ovary
The flag is based on the uterus didelphys and polyorchidism flags. The S is meant to represent the name of this variation. The three circles are meant to represent ovaries. The plus symbol is meant to stand for people who have more than one accessory ovary (aka 3+ ovaries.)
Cervical Duplication
The flag is based on the uterus didelphys flag. In the center of the flag, the shape is meant to vaguely resemble a uterus with two cervixes.
Cervical Duplication + Uterus Didelphys

The shades of blue represent the masculinizing effects of testosterone. The grey represents hypoandrogenism, and low levels of androgens. The grey circle represents the testes, and the underdeveloped/absent leydig cells within them.
17-KSR Deficiency
The purple and yellow represents that this variation is a form of intersex. The shades of grey surrounding the blue represents the “barrier” preventing androstenedione from converting into testosterone. The Ks and 17 represents the name of this variation.
Aromatase Deficiency
The purple and yellow represents that this variation is a form of intersex. The shades of blue represents the hyperandrogenism, and the pink surrounded by grey represents hypoestrogenism. The AD represents the name of this variation.
Mild Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (MAIS)
The flag is based on the AIS flag. The M represents the name of this variation.
Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (PAIS)
The flag is based on the AIS flag. The Ps represents the name of this variation.
Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (CAIS)
The flag is based on the AIS flag. The Cs represents the name of this variation.
Altergenital is an altersex variation where one’s sex is modified or altered.
The flag has three vertical stripes on both sides, starting with complete watermelon pink, a shorter light pink, and a short seafoam green stripe. White in the background, and a soft, light pink altersex symbol is in the middle.
Alterphenotype is when one’s phenotypic sex is altered or modified.
A flag of an off-white background with two horizontal stripes. The top baby blue blue stipe and the bottom seafoam green stripe are cut off at an inwards angle on both sides. The altersex symbol is in the middle.
Like the other aspec terms, (some of) these can have multiple names too, with the anattractional, absolnian, anatt, absol, & absolni part being interchangeable. I didn’t list every possible term, to keep it brief. E.g. greyattractional can also be called greyanattractional, grey absolnian, greyanatt, greyabsol, and greyabsolni.
-✦
Mainly, I used black, in place of the purple, green, etc. colours used to represent other aspec identities, for anattractional (the base anattractional flag uses black for the bottom stripe).
For the flags where multiple stripes are required, I used grey(s) as secondary colours. For some, the general flag format just felt more colourful (because I mean, I guess they’re all pretty colourful), so I used dark blue purple instead of plain grey (bit like what I did in my anspec/anattspec flag).
Also, some of the flag formats use colours opposite of their aspec identities (like the aplflux flag using yellow for platonic, and gradienting to the opposite colour blue, for aplatonic. Or that’s how I interpreted it anyways). I generally associate aspec terms with cold colours, and allospec / attraction with warm colours, so for the “opposite” of anatt, I chose yellow, orange, red, and pink.
(Anattflux (2) is meant to be a gradient from the warm colours to anattractional black, with the colours getting darker/greyer the closer they get to the bottom, but the yellow just ended up looking a bit green. I just want to mention it’s supposed to be dark yellow.)
heyy it’s masculine lesbian awareness week again! it runs through august 1st-7th, and the visibility day is on the 4th. feel free to celebrate it how you’d like! (and remember, this week is inclusive of ALL lesbians)
A diphallian is an altersex person with two penises.
The flag has a light pine background with V-shaped stripes that are cut off in the middle of the flag. The stripes go from light pine green, to white, to light baby blue, to light cyan. The cyan V-stripe has two semicircles on each side. In the middle, a white altersex symbol.
Estatoqueer or statoqueer (abbreviated to statqueer): queer statism. It’s the counterpart of queer anarchism (anarqueer).
It’s based on this flag template and anarchaqueer flag. Any spectrum is welcome to use it, from economically centrists to dichotomously extremists to moderates and beyond the political compass Cartesian coordinate system (such as in multidimensional spectrums and constellations).
Not to be confused with queer nationalism or queer totalitarianism. See also the midpoints: minarqueer/minqueer and grey-anarchoqueer. Inclusive of any -cracy and fluid viewpoints, use it as vaguely as you want.
No, mesosex should be thought of as a subset of intersex. I’d just say intersex. 👍️
I’m gonna give you a wall of text of context so upfront a TLDR: 😅
TLDR: positioning mesosex as in between perisex and intersex is like positioning bisexual as in between queer and not-queer. Intersex people are organizing for inclusive views of intersex and trying to create a middle ground between intersex & perisex plays into conservative efforts to divide and conquer us. 🧑🏫
So a big difference between being intersex and being trans/nonbinary comes from the role of medicine being far, far more powerful in its control and oppression of intersex people. In a lot of ways intersex is more like disability than like other queer identities. So much of intersex identity is gatekept by doctors. Intersex people are often told they’re intersex by a doctor in a context of telling them they are disordered and broken. Fostering community amongst intersex people is hard because so many of us have been conditioned by doctors to think of themselves as rare freaks.
Right now we in the intersex community are fighting a kind of desperate battle for people to understand that it is intersex people who decide who is and isn’t intersex, as opposed to it being up to doctors. And the intersex community consistently says that people with PCOS, Poland Syndrome, or even no diagnosis, who feel that their experiences line up with being intersex are intersex.
Meanwhile TERFs and other conservatives are pushing real hard to keep the definition of intersex as narrow as possible. They don’t want intersex people to be common or for us to find community. They’re invested in a narrative that intersex people are rare, and are disorderd men/women.
Right now, the track record of treating mesosex as not intersex has unfortunately been that it reinforces those conservative narratives. It’s gotten used to imply that people with PCOS aren’t really intersex, that they are mesosex instead. Same for undiagnosed intersex people. 😭
Even though this is not what I intended for the term, seeing what’s happened with it in the wild it’s been honestly scary and upsetting seeing this term get weaponized against an inclusive view of what intersex means. (And more experienced intersex folks raised concern about this well in advance 😨.)
Intersex being an umbrella category I think there is value in having microlabels within the umbrella category, which is why I updated my definition of mesosex rather than abandon the term altogether.
But yeah I would definitely steer far away from treating mesosex as though it’s in between intersex and perisex – it’s really not at all analogous to being nonbinary. I’d say a better analogy is that treating mesosex as if it is between intersex and perisex is like treating bisexual as being in between queer and non-queer.
The stakes are political inclusion and organizing – politically speaking, any effort to create a group between queer and non-queer generally serves to weaken the collective organizing of queer people. Same deal with intersex. Hope that clarifies things. 💜
Okay so after writing the above post I’m getting people responding with “okay but how is this different from trans and nonbinary” and as a nonbinary intersex person, I think I have failed to convey how structurally different the communities are.
Most trans and nonbinary people have community. 🏳️⚧️
Most intersex people do not.
If you want to, you can debate whether nonbinary people are trans and vice versa but at the end of the day both groups have community.
Realizing that you’re trans and/or nonbinary means you have figured out you belong to a community, that there are other people like you you can learn from.
It’s way more complicated for intersex people. Many of us are told by doctors that we’re intersex, so instead of a journey of self-discovery and validation, coming to the intersex label comes to you as a medical diagnosis with the messaging that you are broken and need to be fixed. 😭
If you’re lucky, figuring out you’re intersex delivers you to a medical support group. Not to a pride parade.
Most intersex people have never knowingly met another intersex person, let alone somebody with the same intersex variation. 😭 You don’t hear stories of intersex found family like you do trans/nonbinary people because of how few of us find each other. The people who figure out they’re intersex in adulthood do so through piecing together bits of medical history and trauma. And it often comes as bad news: you’re infertile, your parents lied to you for years, etc.
The intersex community is decades behind the trans and nonbinary communities when it comes to community organizing. Even though intersex people are probably comparable in numbers to trans/nonbinary people, our community is orders of magnitude smaller.
Every time the intersex community starts to get organized, some outside force comes along and divides us and sets the movement back a couple decades. Like with DSD a couple decades ago, which the intersex community today still hasn’t fully recovered from. So splintering the intersex community isn’t just a hypothetical threat, it’s something that has happened to us in recent history.
Talking about “trans and/or nonbinary” isn’t an existential threat to trans and nonbinary organizing as far as I’m aware. But talk about “intersex and/or mesosex” kind of is an existential threat for us though, because of how precarious a state intersex organizing is in. 😰
this is a blog dedicated to term and alt flag searches! while there are some other things I am willing to do (see pinned post), this is my main focus for this account! I’m not new to the mogai/liom community but haven’t had the confidence for a blog until now.
I used my cis flag’s colours as base, simplified. I made it in a vertical striped format to avoid looking too much like other unrelated flags, and I just feel like it’s fitting in general.
For the symbol in the middle, I took inspiration from the original -vestic flags linked above, which I think use the letters from their terms names to form the symbols (though I don’t know why cisvestic only uses V, and not C + V, like how transvestic uses T + V).
C, as a symbol/shape, reminds me of crescent moons, so that’s the base shape. And I used a triangular cutout (instead of round) to match V.
–
Can someone help with the alt text for this one? I don’t know how to describe the symbol.
ciaspec : an umbrella term for anyone on the cis spectrum. It includes all cis genders, partial cis genders, cis aligned and adjacent genders, and genders which are in some way similar to / resemblant of cis-ness. Ciaspec has been used in tags / combo terms before, but I haven’t seen an individual post/definition for it.
For cingender, it already has a flag. I just wanted one that was more colourful / following my alt cis flag’s colours. It follows the same format of other in-gender flags, just with different colours. And I combined the light grey stripes into the outer green and orange yellow stripes, to include those colours.
For ciaspec, I used the cis flag colours, and followed the format of viaspec flags (5 stripes, lighter center stripe and darker outer stripes). I did combine the light green and orangeish yellow colours, and all the grey colours into one dark grey stripe, just to fit it within the 5 stripe format.
A continuation of my trans flags post, I made cis versions using my alt cis flag. (If you want to know where I got the outer colours from, explanations on their names, and such, please read the linked trans flags post, these are all based on those, and I don’t want to re-type all that text.)
These are made to be inclusive. So cis nonbinary, cis intersex, cis trans, and more, are included. Whatever cis means to someone, if they want to use these flags for themselves, then they can 🙂
(Note: cisgenderless is the name that make sense, given the format of the other terms and the transgenderless term it’s based off of, however cisgenderless is already a name for another term (though I imagine there would be overlap between this and that), so I came up with cisgenless and cisgendless as alt terms, just so they won’t get mixed up.)
The flags all follow the format of my cis flag. So that’s where the center 5 stripes, and gradient colour order of the outer stripes, come from. The main colours (2 outer stripes), are the same as on the aforementioned trans flags. (Except cisbine and cismascfem have their colour orders flipped, because I thought they looked too much like trans flags otherwise.)
It’s the same thing with the name thing, there’s just so many possible alt names, so I didn’t list them all. Feel free to use these flags for alt names, or with your own name variations (as long as they mean the same thing).
Some cis orienation flags. These are based off of my trans orientation flags, and my alt cis flag (though I mainly just used the cool grey colors from there, and not the full colors).
I made these with queer cis people in mind, like cis nonbinary, cis trans, cis intersex, etc. They’re made to be inclusive. Though someone doesn’t have to be those specifically to use these flags. Anyone who’s cis in any way can use these.
(I also didn’t even realise when making the flags that I made a cishet flag too lol, I was just following the trans- set I made. Though I think it’s still a good flag to have because people can be cishet/straight and still queer, like people who use multiple labels in addition to cis and straight. Or “contradictory” labels if you will. So think of this as a inclusive cishet/straight flag 🙂
Intergender: an intersex person whose gender feels connected, linked, influenced, or a result of being intersex. This term is used as a descriptor of one’s gender (e.g. an intergender trans woman) similar to how neurogender is a descriptor. Intergender is also used as a gender in of itself (e.g. hir gender is intergender). This is a well-established term in the intersex community.
I’m personally a minimalist when it comes to queer flag design. This design takes the Carpenter intersex flag and inverts the colours, to reflect how intergender is a complimentary term to intersex.
The colour fits nicely with how the ipsogender flag already does this (it replaces the ring with the Earth symbol). It also allows us to take flags with a design of intersex flag + <icon of other thing> and turn them into intergender flag + <icon of other thing>, like so:
ALTALTALT
ALTALTALT
[intersex + autistic, intersex + disabled, intersex + plural, followed by intergender + autistic, intergender + disabeld, intergender + plural]
Having a common language for flag meanings matters because it improves cognitive accessibility of flags. ♿️💙
But I didn’t want to be prescriptive about what colours should mean what. Just because I think Thing X should go with Colour Y doesn’t mean everybody else would.
So this turned into a descriptive, empirical project. I gathered a data set of 2060 pride flag colour choices to figure out what are the most common colour-meaning combinations. Some of the results:

And here are the abstract modifiers: these are modifiers that were generally shared between the genders and the attractions. For example, black is used to indicate having no gender as well as having no attraction.
For each tag, I converted every colour to okLCH colour space and computed a median colour. OkLCH colour space is an alternative to RGB/hex and HSL/HSV. Unlike RGB/hex and HSL/HSV, okLCH is a perceptual colour space, meaning that it is actually based on human colour perception. 🌈
In okLCH space, a colour has three values: – Lightness (0-100%): how light the colour is. 100% is pure white. – Chroma (0-0.37+): how vibrant the colour is. 0 is monochromatic. 0.37 is currently the most vibrant things can get with current computer monitor technologies. But as computer monitor technologies improve to allow for even more vibrant colours, higher chroma values will be unlocked. – Hue (0-360°): where on the colour wheel the colour goes – 0° is pink and 180° is teal, and colours are actually 180° opposite from their perceptual complements.
You can play with an okLCH colour picker and converter at oklch.com

MORE RESULTS: COLOUR DISTRIBUTIONS
Back when I started tagging my data, I divided my data into five main chunks: Gender qualities (e.g. masculine, androgynous), Attraction (e.g. platonic, sexual), Values (e.g. community, joy), Disability (e.g. Deaf, blind), and Other.
I’ll talk about Disability and Values in future posts! But for an alternate view of the data, here are the full distributions of the colours that were placed in each tag.
They come in three parts: tags I created for Gender, tags for Attraction, and tags from Other. The abstract modifiers are spread between the first two, though their contents transcend Gender and Attraction.
ALT
ALT
ALT
Some distributions have a lot more variance within them than others. Generally speaking, major attraction types tended to have the least variance: sensual attraction is really consistently orange, platonic is really consistently yellow, etc.
Variance and size do not correlate. Many of the smaller tags are quite internally consistent. I don’t have a ton of tags in “current gender” but they’re all the same dark purple. Xenine/xenogender has a whole bunch of entries, and there’s a really big spread from blue to yellow.
Some tags, like intersex as well as kink/fetish show there are a small number of different colours that are very consistently used. Whereas other tags like masculine show a very smooth range – in this case from cyan to purple.
Overall I’m pretty satisfied with how things wound up! 🥳 It makes sense to me that an umbrella term like xenogender would have a lot of variance. What honestly makes me happiest is just how many tags wound up 180 or 90 degrees from their opposites/complements. 🤩
Not everything lined up nicely (the opposite of drag is …. neuroqueer? awkward.) 🤨 Some things lined up in hilarious ways, like how initially I had the opposite of kink/fetish being Christian (amazing.)
But as a whole, there’s a lot of structure and logic to where things landed! I hope this makes sense for other people and can help inform both flag making as well as flag interpreting (e.g. writing alt-text for existing flags). 🌈
I’m hoping to post the Disability and Values analyses in the coming days! If you want to learn more, my detailed notes along with tables etc are over on my Wikimedia Commons userspace. 💜
Everything here is Creative Commons Sharealike 4.0, which means you’re free to reuse and build on my visualizations, tables, etc. Enjoy!
I saw this alt null flag, and thought it was a nice design. Though there’s this antialiasing on the edges (that I assume doesn’t have anything to do with the flag’s meaning), and it was just a bit small (1000~ x 700~ px, I usually make 3000 x 2000 px flags).
So I just remade it, same design basically. I did also slightly edit the colours to have a bit more contrast, but that’s probably not really noticeable.

These exist as umbrella terms for the other term, as someone is already “"fully”“ queer by identifying with any of the specific terms.
Please note these are meant to be self description terms, and should not be used on people who do not self identify with them. And nobody has to use these term, even if they exactly match an example used on the posts.

Blackpinkpill Pride Flag
ALT
Blackpinkpill or pinkblackpill: a metaphorical slang neologism for someone who takes both black and pink pills; a pill that combines both pink and black colors; someone who considers oneself as both blackpilled/blackpiller and pinkpiller/pinkpilled. It can be used in a reclaimed sense, or in any other way for any reason.
Context: pinkpill is often used as the femcel counterpart of bluepill but it’s also used by those who “queermaxxed”. Blackpill is the nihilistic interpretation of blue and red pills.
A Sensualplatonic Relationship/Partnership (SPR/SPP) is a type of platonic relationship where the involved parties are plantonically intimate but are romantically, sexually and/or alterously interested in each other. All parties express their interest in each other platonically, possibly converting non-platonic attraction to things like hugs, kisses, petting, or playing. In other cases, one may have a SPR that is a “SPRWB”, a mix between friends with benefits and a sensualplatonic relationship.
What makes it different from a Queerplatonic relationship?
A Queerplatonic Relationship is an intimate relationship that is not romantic and not traditionally platonic. They can include hand-holding, cuddling, kissing, or sexual activity. A Sensualplatonic Relationship is platonically intimate only and any other attraction is shown in platonic ways.
The difference is up to the one identifying this way.
“Physical touch is like a melon. You feel good just from the taste.”
Nesaromantic is the lack of romantic attraction until sensual touch or the idea of such is introduced.
This can be the act of cuddling, hugging, roleplaying, mentioning hugs. If this is not implemented, there will be no romantic attraction at all.
If a nesaromantic person doesn’t have physical interaction with someone, sexual or not, they will not feel romantic attraction to them. A long distance couple not touching or talking about touching will lead to one partner, who is nesaromantic, not feeling romantic attraction to the other.
Ways a nesaromantic feels attraction;
Roleplaying sensual acts
Mentions of physical touch
Physical activity with a partner
Seeing or viewing media where sensual acts are shown
Ways a nesaromantic doesn’t feel attraction;
Roleplaying is non-existent or isn’t sensual
Lack of physical touch
Lack of physical activities
Media that portraya horrible or subpar sensual acts
A nesaromantic person can feel attraction to starngers, or people who seem to only gently or brush against them once. They could even fall in love with someone for long periods of time if they have to work together or touch something that another person had touched.
The touch in question usually has to come from outside the self, but it may include those who are autosexual and plural.
The counterpart would be Nesasexual.
The gold stripe stands for positivity, the yellow stripe represents the aromantic spectrum of identities, the white stripe is to represent bonds of all kinds, the orange stripe is to represent physical touch or the idea of it, and the black stripe representing the lack of romantic attraction.
Labels for people wish to transition to a state between male and female
This post is for people who may identify with “trans intersex” / “MtI” / “FtI”, these labels are harmful, so I’m bringing awareness to some alternatives!
Nonbinary
We all know this one. A person who’s gender identity does not align with a binary gender. Many people use this to describe their transition as well.
Transitioning to a neutral or between state. Related to terms FtN, MtN, (N standing for neutral or nonbinary) FtX, MtX, (X representing ‘other’ as seen on official documents)
An androgynous person, such as one whose appearance is neither clearly masculine nor clearly feminine AND/OR a person whose gender identity is linked to androgyny, such as by being a blend of male and female or by being neither male nor female.
Transandrogynous flag, Androgyne flag, Androgynous flag
A label for those who wish to transition to have both a penis and a vagina. This is not linked to any specific identity, anyone can be salmacian or bigenetal. The term salmacian has had controversy involving intersex fetishization however the label itself is not considered harmful.
A transgender-adjacent umbrella term for those who desire to physically transition partially or in an otherwise non-standard way. It can be used by cis or trans people. This label covers everything from bigenital bottom surgery to cis people who wish to transition
Variotrans flag, Varioformic flag, Varioxenic flag
A historic term referring to a person with both male and female characteristics, or a person of indeterminate sex. It can describe both perisex transsexual & transgender people, as well as intersex people.
The most updated definition is “a state of having sex characteristics or a combination of sex characteristics that deviate from what would be considered male or female, while also not inherently being intersex” This term has had a controversial history due to its coining as a replacement for words like ‘herm’, ‘futanari’, and other slurs in porn tags. Some people have adopted it as a genuine identity since then, and it has had multiple definition changes. Notably, one of the earlier definitions positioned altersex as a ‘third category’ in the intersex/perisex (non-intersex) dichotomy, this is not true, and is intersexist misinformation. Everyone is either perisex (non-intersex) or intersex, regardless of whether or not they are altersex.

Aldernic is an umbrella term for individuals who have, or wish to have, a body that deviates from what is expected in society or typical human notions. Aldernic is geared towards those who wish to have a more nonhuman form, and is popular among alterhuman, otherkin, and therian circles. It is however, not exclusive to these groups.

Inerswoman/Inersgirl Pride Flag
ALT
Inersgirl or inerswoman/inersfemale (girl apathetic/woman apathetic): being indifferent or apathetic towards one’s own womanhood/girlhood; not caring whether others classify you as woman or not; centrois/inersgender/apagender fiaspec identity.
The colors are from gender apathetic flag with this woman flag. The term apagirl/apafemale already exists (and potentially apaboy/apamale), however this is different, inersgirl doesn’t necessarily include “some connection to your femininity/girlhood” and doesn’t require reasons for feeling this way.
Inersboy/Inersman Pride Flag
ALT
Inersboy or inersman/inersmale (boy apathetic/man apathetic): being indifferent or apathetic towards one’s own manhood/boyhood; not caring whether others classify you as man or not; centrois/inersgender/apagender miaspec identity.

anonbinary boy ✦ anonbinary girl ✦ anonbinary enby anodiean boy ✦ anodiean girl ✦ anodiean enby neononbinary boy ✦ neononbinary girl ✦ neononbinary enby
Anonbinary and anodiean can be used interchangeably here, I just made 2 versions, one with the original anonbinary flag, and the other with the anodiean flag (which can also be used for anonbinary, if preferred). You can also use them for the term etceterian if you want.
ALT
Some anonbinary/anodiean/neononbinary combo flags 😀
So I know you only requested boy and girl versions, but I thought enby versions would be cute too. And I think both anonbinary and anodiean are nice terms, as well as their flags, so I just made 2 versions instead of choosing one flag lol.
The dark stripes (black from anonbinary+anodiean, dark grey from neononbinary), are always both on the outside.
For the anonbinary flags, the anonbinary purple is always on the top, and yellow on the bottom.
For the anodiean flags, the anodiean orange-y colour is always on top, and green on the bottom.
Then for the neononbinary flags, I kept the mirrored format, so yellow is always next to the off white on both sides, and purple is always on both edges.
Also, I used the lightest colours from the boy, girl, and enby flags for the lightest / off white stripes, instead of the lightest / middle colours used in the original anonbinary, anodiean, and neononbinary flags. I just thought it’d be aesthetically pleasing.
Aphorian or abinary: completely removed from male/female gender binary; experiencing a gender that doesn’t reference any binary gender.
Aphrodisian or salmacian: conceptualizing one’s body as sexually ambiguous; desiring or acquiring mixed sex traits; an ambisexed corporeality (duomorphous); a body plan or current body has a combination of both vulvovaginal and phallopenile genitalias (bigenital); an enbysex, varsex, sexqueer, or altersex identity.
Repulsivexual Pride Flag
ALT
Repulsivexual: attraction to those that you find repulsive.
Originally known as repulsi- in a deactivated/terminated troll blog (lost post).
Not to be confused with repulsu- or repuls-/repul-, or apothi-/repothi-.
Transfinigender Pride Flag
ALT
Transfinigender: a gender beyond finite (finigender), while not necessarily infinite (infinigender); or a transfinite gender (whatever that means to the user).
Enneagender: a term for someone on the multigender spectrum, that experiences nine genders. They may experience these genders simultaneously, or be fluid between them.
This term was coined to fill the missing space between octagender and decagender. The label is derived from the word ennéa, which is greek for nine. (Credit to u/zaxfaea for the name idea!)
We were extremely frustrated that we couldn’t find a term for this before, so after some searching, we decided to just take it into our own hands.
The Enneagender flag uses nine spikes to represent each gender experienced, all meeting in the middle to form a whole (that “whole” being the person experiencing those genders.) This can also be seen as a reference to the number 9 being associated with completeness/balance.
Red represents womanhood and/or passion. Pink represents femininity and/or self-love. Purple represents androgyny and/or rarity (as in, how rare and unique this experience is between each individual.) Blue represents manhood and/or wisdom gained through the many experiences an enneagender individual has with the gender spectrum. Teal represents masculinity and/or peace in one’s identity. Green represents neutrality and/or how natural one’s experience is (in a way, countering the “you’re unnatural” comments from transphobes/exclusionists.) Yellow represents xeninity and/or joy in self-expression. Orange represents aporinity and/or warmth within one’s community. White represents genders that are exclusive to specific communities, such as intergenders, neurogenders, cultural genders, etc and/or being being free from the constraints of the gender binary.
Kleptomaniagender: neurogender where one’s gender is connected to their kleptomania, can be shortened to kleptogender
Intersex Neu Pride Flag
ALT
Intersex (IS): umbrella term for innate variations that don’t fit the typical binary notions of male or female sex traits.
Neutrine or neutral (neu or neut): qualities or attributes regarded as characteristic of neutrois people; or a presentation associated with neutrinity or gender neutrality.
Not to be confused with interneu or interneutral, though it can include them, along with ulterneu (ulterneutral) and ipsoneu (ipsoneutral), this one is regardless of gender identity or modality, or birth assigment (ASAB/AGAB), and not inherently associated with the inter-system.
Do with this what you will. This took me forever. If you’d like to contribute anything just lmk, just remember this is for presentation terms and not gender alignments.
@radiomogai@io-archival you may find this helpful ! sorry it’s rentry I did not have faith in my notion or docs skills
I’m going to pass out now

A term for for when someone’s close to but not quite conformant. This is an umbrella term and one does not have to be conformant-ish in all way to use it, for example a trans person who is hetero-ish could use the term.
Please note these are meant to be self description terms, and should not be used on people who do not self identify with them. And nobody has to use these term, even if they exactly match an example used on the post.
I may make a set of sister flags to this, maybe, maybe not.
“And that quote, “The only disability in life is a bad attitude,” the reason that that’s bullshit is because it’s just not true.” – Stella Young
[IDs: Screenshots from the late, great, Stella Young’s TED Talk: I’m Not Your Inspiration, Thank You Very Much. Stella is a wheelchair-user sitting up on the stage in front of a massive crowd. In these screenshots, she’s saying, “No amount of smiling at a flight of stairs has ever made it turn into a ramp. Never. (Laughter. Applause.) Smiling at a television screen isn’t going to make closed captions appear for people. No amount of standing in the middle of a bookshop and radiating a positive attitude is going to turn all those books into braille.]
I use this speech and the underlying theories a lot in my PhD, but Stella Young honestly had one of those voices that needs to be heard by everyone, so I figured I’d post my favorite part of the speech here. If anyone remembers that time I threw myself onto the floor For The Vine, you’ll know that I also hate the quote: “The only disability in life is a bad attitude”. Stella just conveyed the message with less pain.
When corporations inevitably try to commodify disability in the same way they rainbow-wash queer identities, remember that toxic positivity and overly-inspiring videos do nothing to address the real inaccessibility and discrimination that disabled people of all intersecting identities experience!
Trans man/Transmasculine/FTM + Trans woman/Transfeminine/MTF flags
(+ variants for intersex AFAB trans women/transfems and intersex AMAB trans men/transmascs)
ALTALT
I wanted to make flags for trans* men, transmascs, and FTMs, as well as trans* women, transfems, and MTFs, because I wasn’t a huge fan of the existing transmasc and transfem flags. I talked a bit with my girlfriend about my ideas (I’m transmasc and she’s transfem) and made some flags.
Each flag is composed of three things: a chevron, a field of one flat color, and a transgender symbol.
The chevron is split into two parts. The first part of the chevron represents the person’s AGAB (pink for AFAB, and blue for AMAB). The second part represents the transition away from one’s AGAB, and/or the transition towards something other than one’s AGAB. The chevron points away from the person’s AGAB, and towards their actual gender identity.
The field of color represents the person’s actual gender identity (pink for woman and/or feminine, blue for man and/or masculine).
The symbol is the transgender symbol on both flags, with certain parts highlighted. In the trans man/transmasc/FTM flag, the Mars/male and genderqueer parts of the symbol are highlighted, with the Venus/female part of the symbol faded. The reverse is true for the trans woman/transfem/MTF flag: the Venus/female and genderqueer parts of the symbol are highlighted, with the Mars/male symbol faded. This indicates the focus of each identity.
The colors were directly taken from the trans flag. These flags are not just for binary trans people; nonbinary people can also use them.
*Trans as in transgender, transsexual, or both.
Variants for intersex AFAB/CAFAB trans women/transfems and intersex AMAB/CAFAB trans men/transmascs
ALTALT
I’m perisex, so I wasn’t sure about making these flags, since these identities don’t apply to me or anyone I know personally. But, since the initial designs are AGAB specific, I felt that it may be appropriate to make some versions that are inclusive to intersex AFAB/CAFAB trans women/transfems and intersex AMAB/CAMAB trans men/transmascs.
In these versions of the flag, the chevron is split into three parts: the intersex flag (representing that the person is intersex), the color for the person’s AGAB/CAGAB (pink for AFAB/CAFAB, blue for AMAB/CAMAB), and white, representing transition. The chevron still points in the same direction as it does in the other flags, but is no longer focused on pointing “away” from the left side. The rest of the symbolism remains the same.
Some AFAB/CAFAB intersex people are trans women/transfems, even though they were assigned/expected to be women/feminine. From my understanding, this is usually because they experienced endogenous masculinizing puberty, but may also be the case for other reasons. For example, they might not define their gender modality by their AGAB, especially if it was coercively assigned to them through non-consensual surgeries. Whatever the case may be, they don’t fit into cisnormative ideas of their gender, specifically due to being intersex.
The same applies to AMAB/CAFAB intersex people who are trans men/transmascs. Though they were assigned/expected to be men/masculine, they may have experienced endogenous feminizing puberty, been coercively assigned male, or otherwise don’t fit into cisnormative ideas of their gender, specifically due to being intersex.
Again, I am perisex, so I encourage intersex people to edit these flags as you wish, especially if you feel the symbolism is lacking.
None of these flags are intended to be used by “perisex AFAB trans women” or “perisex AMAB trans men.”No exceptions.
Intersex AFAB/CAFAB Trans Man / Transmasc / FTM | Intersex AMAB/CAMAB Trans Woman / Transfem / MTF
I hope you don’t mind but as someone who’s intersex and ftm, I wanted one that represented intersex afab trans men / transmascs and ftms, since I am one (plus an “opposite” version)
I don’t mind at all! Thank you for your addition ^^

Fungigenital (Left)
Term for people who imagine or conceptualize their sex as fungi-related, or those who wish to have a fungi-related genitalia. People who feel their sex as a whole is fungi-related might use fungiadic or fungisex.
Objectogenital (Right)
Term for people who imagine or conceptualize their sex as object-related, or those who wish to have a object-related genitalia. People who feel their sex as a whole is object-related might use objectoadic or objectsex. Sometimes might fill under machinex and cyberex.
A term for those who experience genders that are considered to be ends of binary/trinary spectrums (boy, girl, non-binary) but reject the view of their gender as being apart of these binaries/trinaries. It is an identity based in refusing to see genders as falling into boxes or on spectrums at all, and every gender as just its own thing because gender is a personal experience.
I made this label for those like myself who are “binary” gendered but have no interest in being seen as fitting into this category. But also, feel uncomfortable identifying with terms like non-binary or abinary or anonbinary boy/girl because those terms are just a new gender trinary. Your experience will always be non-conforming, genderpunk, weird, and/or genderqueer despite having a “normal” “binary” gender.

This is the Bessiean butch flag, a flag for black bisexual butch sapphics. Bessiean as a term is inspired by the late African American jazz singer Bessie Smith, who was a bisexual woman who had numerous relations with both men and women.
This flag is exclusively for those who are black, bisexual, butch, AND sapphic. You can’t be three out of four, you must be all four in order to use this flag. The label itself is only for black bi sapphics. If you don’t like black exclusive labels, that’s not my problem, even if you’re black yourself.

Teratid: a gender identity related to the rejection and subversion of (prevailing) beauty standards.
[PT: Teratid: a gender identity related to the rejection and subversion of (prevailing) beauty standards. ./. End PT]
Etymology
[PT: Etymology ./. End PT]
From English, “Terat-”, meaning “Monstrous” + “-id”, a Latin suffix meaning “pertaining to” in the concept of taxonomy. Coined by Gent (Gender-Jargon), June 2024.
The etymology of the term is a reference to how a lack of conformity to beauty standards is deeply punished, portrayed as evil, frightening and inhuman. It seeks to reclaim the idea that the subversion of beauty as “monstrous”.
Teratid is a noun (Ex: “I am a Teratid”). The adjective form of is “teratine” (Ex: “My gender is teratine”).
Elaboration
[PT: Elaboration ./. End PT]
Teratid is an atrinary, outherine gender identity. Additionally, it is a ringender, genoingender, ketuine and a type of genderfuckery (subversive in nature). Some may also experience it as an autonomous gender, reclingender and/or quingender. Teratid can also be a diastine gender identity.
Teratid is a broad label that encompasses the infinitely vast expressions that undermine societal beauty standards. Though Teratid experience is varied, all are unified by a rejection of common notions of beauty, a lack of conformance to the prescriptions of societal beauty standards and an active spirit of “fuckery” involved in the disruption and undermining of the oppressive standards contained within “beauty” as it is commonly known. It can involve the reclamation of monstrosity associated with the transgression of beauty standards, but it doesn’t have to.
Beauty standards vary across time, society and culture. If the rejection and subversion of prevailing beauty standards in one’s time period, society and culture is a gendered expression, it can be described as “Tertid”.
With this in mind, there are many, many ways a Teratid individual go about subverting standards of beauty. Some examples include, but are not limited to:
embracing, celebrating and incorporating one’s own physical, bodily traits that are not validated by prevailing beauty standards into their expression of their gender, whatever those may be.
embracing, celebrating and incorporating the concept of beauty within another culture that is accessible to the individual into their expression of their gender which conflicts with prevailing beauty standards in the society in which they live.
embracing, celebrating and incorporating the concept of beauty within a subculture in which the individuals participates into their expression of their gender which conflicts with prevailing standards of beauty in the society in which they live.
expressions of gender non-conformity and genderfuckery carried out with the intention of subverting beauty standards.
rejecting prescribed beauty standards, instead embracing their own sense of beauty and what it entails.
deliberate aesthetic homeliness, dreadfulness, obscenity, eeriness, wickedness, repulsiveness and grotesqueness as a gendered expression.

Simply put, Teratid:
is an atrinary, outherine/disatine gender identity.
is a rejection of societal beauty standards.
is a subversion of societal beauty standards.
involves acceptance, joy and comfort of traits identified within oneself that are not consider “beautiful” by society.
may or may not reclaim the ideas of monstrosity associated with things not designated “beautiful” by society.
may or may not intersect with and/or be rooted in one’s queerness, disability, fatness, sex, race, culture, subculture, spirituality, etc.
may or may not involve a liberated, self-defined sense of beauty.
may or may not involve aesthetics that conjure thoughts and feelings of dread, fear, disgust, shock, indignation, discomfort, hideousness, tackiness, ostentation, crudeness, offensiveness, ugliness, etc., as well as expressions that are perceived as “evil” or are associated with “evil”.

Pride Flag
[PT: Pride Flag ./. End PT]
The pride flag was colored-picked from a picture of a common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) [PT: (Taraxacum officinale) ./. End PT], all from different portions of the plant. The olive green stripe was taken from it’s foliage, the yellow stripe taken from the flower petals, the white stripe from the seed’s pappus, the peach stripe from the stem and the brown stripe from the exterior of it’s seeds.
A dandelion was chosen to represent this identity due to how dandelion is considered a “weed”, even though it is a useful and charming flower. To a lawn keeper or florist, a weed is unwanted, unsightly and“bad”. It does not conform to the standards of a “beautiful” flower.
In this case, the humble dandelion is considered undesirable due to the concept of a pristine, short grass lawn and the concept of floral design, despite it’s various culinary uses, use in herbal remedies, role in pollination and their quaint appeal. Even though it not being a flower that is considered “beautiful” and instead, a “weed”, the dandelion is inherently valuable not just in it’s utility, but it’s mere existence, much like an individual who does not conform to prevailing standards of beauty has inherent value by simply existing.
Extergender: an intersex person whose gender feels independent of being intersex. This the opposite of intergender, where an intersex person feels their gender is connected or influenced by being intersex.
Extergender people can have any gender – they can be cis, ipso, ulter, or trans; male, female, nonbinary, or other – it just means that their gender isn’t connected to being intersex.
I’ve made this flag by taking the intergender flag and de-colouring it. Black and white represent how one’s gender is clearly separate from being intersex. White represents all possible genders, black represents the absence of the influence of being intersex. The ring indicates this is still an intersex-specific label.
Exter- is used as a contrast to inter-, inspired by the term extersex being a contrast to intersex. (Extersex: someone who is not certain if they are intersex or perisex.)
I am not myself extergender. I coined the term last year for thinking through some internal divisions amongst intersex people. This flag design came together as I was thinking through what a demi-intergender flag would look like. If an actually extergender person creates a different flag for extergender I think that should be prioritized over my design. 💜

From the linked wiki page linked for Transandrogynous:
Transandrogynous or transdrogynous is a term used to describe a transgender individual who identifies fully or partially as androgyne or another androgynous gender. It can be considered umbrella term for individuals who transition to an androgynous identity.
Transandrogynous individuals can also identify as other, non-androgynous genders as well. For example, an neutrandrogyne individual may identify as transandrogynous, though typically one’s androgynous identities are more significant that one’s non-androgynous identities, or one wants to emphasize their androgynous identity.
Transandrogynous is sometimes used, not as a gender identity, but as a way to describe anyone who undergoes a transition process to an androgynous presentation (regardless of gender)- either through surgery, hormone replacement therapy, or other methods. Under this definition, individuals who undergo transition to attempt to appear more androgynous would be considered transneutral, regardless of their actual gender identity.

-> male-female or female-male: someone who identifies as both male and female, simultaneously or not. can also be used by intersex, transgender/transsexual or salmacian people in the sense of sex characteristics. lastly, it can simply be used as synonym for boygirl/girlboy and man-woman/woman-man.
I just wanted to hue shift them a bit (the originals were monochrome), and add a bit more contrast (I think is most noticeable with the 2 lightest pink stripes, the originals were almost identical).
tciaspec : an umbrella term for anyone on the cistrans/transcis/tris spectrum. It includes all cistrans/transcis/tris genders, partial cistrans/transcis/tris genders, cistrans/transcis/tris aligned and adjacent genders, and genders which are in some way similar to / resemblant of cistrans/transcis/tris -ness.
tcingender : an umbrella term for all genders cistrans/transcis/tris in nature.
I used this tris flag for the colours, and followed the general formats of these flags. So viaspec uses 5 stripes, with a lighter center colour, and gradients to darker colours at the edges. In-gender uses 7 stripes, the center having twice the size of the rest, and a gradient of light colours on the outside, with dark colours on the inside (like the mingender flag).
I did combine/edit the colours for tciaspec, to fit all the tris colours into 5 stripes.
Oh and for the terms names’, I would have preferred something closer to tris, but I couldn’t really figure that spelling out. So I chose T (first letter of trans) and C (first letter of cis) instead. Also, the order with T first and C second, already seem to be medical words? But ctingender is already a different mogai term, so I had to use the tc (instead of ct) spelling instead.
※ Pareil is when you look at a person, wonder “Do I want to date them or be them?” And the answer is “Both.”
On a more serious note, this term aims for the blurry distinction between gender envy and attraction (of any type). For those who can’t, or don’t want to, distinguish between the two. Their ideal gender (presentation) is their orientation, or vice versa.
Can be used as pareiloriented, pareilsexual, pareilaesthetic, pareilgender, etc. Pareilgender may be considered an orientationgender.
Example: a feminine boy who is aesthetically attracted to feminine boys and feels like their attraction is influenced by what they get gender envy from / what their ideal presentation is could call themselves an pareilaesthetic Rosboy.
※ Etymology: From the French pareil meaning “(the) same, alike, like”
※ Note: This term was originally conceptualized using the french word for mirror, miroir, instead. I dropped this because I know there are a few terms using mirror- already and I was worried it’d be too similar to those, I still encourage the use of miroir as a synonym to pareil tho, it sounds very neat
※ This term is purposefully a little vague because putting concrete rules on a term like this only unnecessarily makes people feel alienated in my experience, if you related to the introductory first line you’re more than likely the demographic the term aims for and free to use it!
※ Fun fact: This term started out a little light-hearted but I did also seriously vibe with it once I had written down the concept

Image ID: A flag with eleven stripes, the outer two and the central one are twice as wide as the two sets of three between them. From top to bottom, the colors are: Pale blue, pale green, white, light gray, mid gray, dark gray (central), mid gray, light gray, white, pale purple, pale yellow.
I decided to make an alternate flag to the original Lesgirl flag made/coined by @tobastreasury, I do not dislike the original flag. I made an alt version of the flag just cuz I wanted a flag that matched the flags of the Sapphgirl and Achilliboy gender modifiers I coined. This flag is only meant to be an alternate flag, this is NOT meant to be a replacement for the original.
I’ve been thinking about how the order of morphemes matters for coining intergenders and how demi-intergender is not the same as inter-demigender, and made some flags!
ALT
Demi-intergender: when one feels partly intergender. This is a term specifically for intersex people, who feel that their gender is somewhat or partially connected to or influenced by being intergender, but not so much that they feel intergender. They thus feel somewhere in between intergender and extergender.
The flag design takes the demigender flag, and replaces the middle three stripes with the intergender flag. This is a pattern used by other demigender flags: e.g. the demiandrogyne flag replaces the middle three stripes with the androgyne flag, the demimaverique flag replaces the middle three stripes with the maverique flag, the demipangender flag does so with the pangender flag, etc.
Meanings: dark & light grey for partiality. Purple & yellow: being intersex & intergender.
***
ALT
Inter-demigender: when one feels demigender in a way that feels connected to or influenced by being intersex. As this is a gender linked to being intersex, this is a kind of intergender.
Meanings: same as demigender flag (greys: partial, yellow: any gender, white: no gender) plus golden yellow for intersex/intergender.
Personal connections to new flags: I would myself identify as inter-demigender. I identify as fully intergender and so the demi-intergender flag is not for me, but I do know at least one person who feels partly intergender.
I made a post about this last year and the year before, and thought if I did it this way it gives people and orgs something to work towards. Often people forget that disabled people aren’t just wheelchair users, and even those who are, need more than just that ramp!
My first ever pride, not only as a wheelchair but my first ever EVER pride, I went in expecting to feel at home.
Obviously I wasn’t, I’m disabled, so why should I?
Instead there was just a ridiculous amount of uneven flooring, a steep ramp to the disabled toilet, no sanitary towel bin in the disabled toilet (???) no allowances to be let out of the festival to fetch things from my car, no where quiet and organisers who seemed genuinely surprised to see a wheelchair user!
My next pride, three years later, I was a seller, and while they had sorted their toilet problem (still no sanitary towel bin???), the hill to get in wouod have been genuinely impossible for me to get to if I hadn’t been driving to get my stall in anyway, even with someone pushing me, no quiet areas, plenty of kerbs for me to get stuck at and again, genuine surprise.
Why is it so surprising to consider disabled people might be at pride? Not only do queer disabled people exist, but parents and family of queer kids and people, vendors and even entertainers!
WHAT if instead of bear pride for hairy fat men we ALSO had cow pride. for fat women with huge milkers. ok now give me 10000 reblogs a kiss on the cheek and a nobel prize
repost because i made a clerical error in the original post but here’s the flag i propose. yes its cow print. yes im amazing as well
also clarifying the reason the animal i picked was cow is because its a partially satirical reclaiming of the insult “fat cow” or calling fat women cows etc. as like an affirmation thing because cows can be pretty too yknow
reblogging this for pride month. happy pride month to all u fat cows….
updated version with prettier colors and an easier-to-represent cow hoof print rather than the pretty random spots! the hoof itself is just an eraser-tooled heart but i still think it came out pretty… (edited again because im indecisive as hell)

Estranhoaesthetic is an aesthetic spectrum term, which describes different states of fray attraction, it is a subset of Frayaesthetic. It describes when one may lose or gain attraction in really specific scenarios when other terms don’t work, it is typically felt towards those they don’t know and the possibility of gaining any knowledge or any bond with that individual whether platonic, romantic, etc.
Someone that is Estranhoaesthetic:
– may potentially lose the attraction if any knowledge of the individual in question is known, or if any sort of bond is gained.
– They may experience the inverse of this where they may only experience attraction if there is a bond, but after a while it fades away but then comes back when the bond is greater.
– They have no knowledge of the individual but the aesthetic attraction just fades away without any explanation.
– The individual may only experience the attraction if they know nothing about the individual and may feel that their feelings towards the individual is redundant if they have any knowledge or bond with that individual.
Someone who is this term experiences all or most of these examples, the term relies on really specific circumstances where Valis, Fray and Demi don’t work for them.
This term is used regardless of whether one is allo or anaesthetical
This term is to be renamed! The term is likely to be renamed to Losaesthetic or Stranaesthetic, I am still deciding.
This survey will be posted in other locations and intersex forums, feel free to spread it yourselves, I am looking for 385 responses, from a wide array of intersex people from different backgrounds. I intend to use the results of this survey in an informational website I am working on with the help of other intersex folk!
If you are not intersex, you can help out by reblogging!
Retransition, also known as retrans, refers to the process where an individual undergoes multiple gender transitions, alternating between presenting as male and female or transitioning from one gender identity to another and then back again. This pattern of transitioning can involve various social, medical, or legal changes to align with the individual’s chosen gender expression or identity at each stage.
Hyperfeminine boy and hypermasculine girl flags made by me.
right is hyperfeminine boy and let is hypermasculine girl
A hyperfeminine man/boy is an individual who exhibits traits, behaviors, or appearances that are traditionally or stereotypically associated with extreme femininity. This may include a preference for traditionally feminine clothing, accessories, makeup, mannerisms, and interests. The concept challenges conventional gender norms by blending or amplifying elements of femininity within a male identity. Hyperfemininity in men can be an expression of personal style, identity, or a form of gender expression that transcends typical masculine and feminine binaries.
A hypermasculine woman/girl is a individual who displays traits, behaviors, or appearances that are traditionally or stereotypically associated with extreme masculinity. This may include a preference for traditionally masculine clothing, hairstyles, physical activities, mannerisms, and interests. The concept challenges conventional gender norms by blending or amplifying elements of masculinity within a female identity. Hypermasculinity in women can be an expression of personal style, identity, or a form of gender expression that transcends typical masculine and feminine binaries.

Moalte Somatization, MoSo, or Moalte, is an altersex trait related to genital modification and prosthetics. This somatization focuses on experiencing an extended physical sensation of one’s body by use of mods and prosthetics that may or may not have the ability to be removed or separated. Similarly, someone who has a missing arm using a prosthetic may feel it as if it were attached to them organically.
___
For Altersex and Intersex people to claim, not for dyadics/perisex.
The symbol for moaltes is a green Altersex Symbol with inspiration from the Freak Pride flag for the V inside the ring. The two shades of blueberry represent added mods and prosthetics, while the smoky light blue in between the two bars represent the physical body.
Moalte has variations that specify a specific modification.
For Nature’s new series on sex/gender, I wrote with the amazing Shari Brightly-Brown and G Nic Rider about gender modality, the limits of the cis/trans binary, and how to study gender more respectfully and accurately.
Gender modality is a term I coined in 2019 that has picked up a lot of steam in the last few years. It refers to the relationship between someone’s gender identity and gender assigned at birth. It’s a lot like ‘sexual orientation’ but for trans/cis instead of gay/straight.
The term helps us be more accurate and more respectful when describing the experiences of trans people, and opens up space beyond the trans/cis binary.
For instance, it’s often more accurate to say that discrimination against trans people is based on gender modality than based on gender identity. After all, a trans woman has the same gender identity as a cis woman, so that’s not the salient point.
There are also many people who don’t neatly fall in the trans/cis binary, and gender modality helps us talk about that. Non-binary people who don’t identify as cis or trans, gender questioning folks, detrans folks, people with culturally-specific identities, etc.
Our world is incredibly rich with experiences and our language should reflect that. As we say in the paper, the first step in science shouldn’t be assuming, it should be to engage in the world in all its magnificent complexity.
I am grateful to our editor for the opportunity to publish in such a prestigious journal with such amazing coauthors. I hope you all enjoy the read!

Etymology
[PT: Etymology ./. End PT]
From Spanish, “modifique”, meaning “I modify”, changed to “modifizique” to make it distinct. The suffix “-ique” is also used here to allude to gender autonomy.
I coined this back on my old blog, Gender-Resource, sometime before it was terminated, but I can’t find it archived literally anywhere. I believe I made it sometime in mid to late 2020.
If anyone has a link to the post archived somewhere, please let me know! I’ll edit it into the post.
Elaboration
[PT: Elaboration ./. End PT]
Modifizique is an atrinary, diastine gender identity. It is also autoine, autonomine, genonine and rahuine. It may or may not be a sucuingender and/or cuingender. Some may experience the gender as xenine or as a nohingender. Modifizique involves body modification as a quality, making it BOMIN (Bomodine-in-nature).
Modifizique is a label that can describe many, many different experiences, all unified through achieving some sort of self-actualization through body modification. The desire for body modification can be related to preference, aesthetic, cultural and/or subcultural practices, spirituality, alterhumanity, neurodivergence or virtually any other reason, given that it is experientially accessible to the individual in question.
Simply put, Modifizique:
is an atrinary, diastine gender which is individual, self-governed and non-conformant.
is related to the ideal sense of self one seeks to be and the development of their “full potential” as an individual.
involves a(n) (ideal) self image that is achieved through body modification.

Here, body modification refers to the various practices involving the deliberate alteration of one’s anatomy and/or physical appearance. Some examples include, but are not limited to, tattoos, scarification, piercing, branding, ear cropping, implants, plastic surgery, corseting, stretching, tongue splitting, hair removal and hair dyeing, to name some. Body modifications such as these are experienced as gendered self-expressions.
Though this gender identity was coined with tangible acts of alteration in mind, this term is inclusive of those who desire to modify their body, but are unable to do so for whatever reason.

The original pride flag for Modifizique was created at the same time as the term in 2020 by myself on Gender-Resource. Quite frankly, my original flag is really, really unappealing, so I redesigned the flag for this repost. This redesign was created in June 2024.
The redesigned flag consists of six horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, the stripes are navy blue, light desaturated purple, light grey-blue, white, desaturated yellow, scarlet red and blood red. The colors have the following meanings:
The navy blue stripe represents ink and dye.
The light desaturated purple stripe represents gender non-conformity.
The light grey-blue stripe represents metal.
The white stripe represents the blank slate of creation.
The desaturated yellow stripe represents self-expression.
The scarlet red stripe represents flesh.
The blood red stripe represents blood.

[Image ID: a redesigned Tragender flag by Gent (Gender-Jargon). The flag’s stripes are oriented diagonally from the bottom-left corner to the top-right corner. The left corner stripes, from left to right, are blue, green, yellow and white. The right corner stripes from left to right, are dark grey, scarlet red, indigo and purple. Tragender: a gender identity that encompasses the entirety of the gender spectrum.

Etymology
[PT: Etymology ./. End PT]
Likely from Latin, “Trans” modified to “Tra” meaning “Through”, “Across” or “Beyond” + “-gender”, an Engish neologistic suffix indicating genderedness.
Originally, the definition was worded as, “a gender that stretches over the whole spectrum/orb-y thing of gender”, which I reworded as it is written above.
Elaboration
[PT: Elaboration ./. End PT]
Tragender is an interesting identity in that it doesn’t just occupy a given point or function represented on the gender spectrum, but rather the whole spectrum itself.
A Tragender individual is every gender, no gender, every combination or derivation of any and all genders, being all identities available to them as well as anything and everything beyond and between. The limitless nature of Tragender could be described as total, complete, comprehensive and/or absolute in nature, which could be collectively referred to as a Totingender, or a as a gender that is Totaline-in-nature (TOTIN). This gender occupies all available gender arities.
I decided to use an vertically error-barred rhombus to represent Tragender, as the gender spectrum is frequently represented using a diamond. The error bars extend from the diamond at the top and bottom to represent encompassing the entirety of the gender spectrum.

This is a redesign of the flag I previous created for Tragender on my old blog, Gender-Resource (terminated). My original flag was based off of the Tragender pride flag design by tumblr user Genderqueer-Dream in May 2019 (link) [PT: My original flag was based off of the Tragender pride flag design by tumblr user Genderqueer-Dreram in May 2019 (link) ./. End PT]. My first Tragender flag was near-identical to the one created by Genderqueer-Dream, with the only difference being that the second-to-last, sectioned multi-color stripe was removed for the simplicity of replication.
The redesigned flag (of a redesigned flag) in this post was created by Gent (Gender-Jargon) in June 2024. This flag’s stripes are oriented diagonally from the bottom-left corner to the top-right corner. In the top-left and bottom-right corner, there are four stripes of the same width and same orientation. The left corner stripes, from left to right, are blue, green, yellow and white. My previous Tragender pride flag lacked stated symbolism, as the flag it was based upon did not have a stated significance of design. This new, redesigned flag, however, has means assign to it’s imagery. The components of the pride flag have the following meaning:
The light tan background of the flag represents the gender spectrum.
The colors blue, green, yellow, white dark grey, scarlet red, indigo and purple represent the diversity of one’s accessible gender experience.

against the harm and pain that religion has caused for victims of it, and to be there for those who are hurt.
against force of religious practices and against the misuse of religious foundations for profit.
against the use of religion to justify bigotry (ie: “being gay is a sin”)
Note: This post does not support people who are bigoted towards those who may be, Queer, Alterhuman, Neurodivergent, Disabled, POC, etc. this isn’t for you, fuck you.
(I tried to make a flag couldn’t think of one, if anyone got any ideas feel free!)
Haven’t seen any intersex-exclusive orientation flags that caught my eye so I decided to make my own.
I made these flags because I noticed that my experience as a gay man changed pretty drastically when I realized I was intersex.
These are only to be used by intersex people. Questioning intersex people can use as well. “Transintersex” or people “transitioning to be intersex” cannot use these flags. I also ask that these flags are not to be used by perisex altersex people. Thank you.

Girlboyenbyflux, enbyboygirlflux, enbygirlboyflux, girlenbyboyflux, boyenbygirlflux, or boygirlenbyflux (shortened to enbirlflux), also known as enboygirlflux, enboygirlbyflux, girlbyenboyflux, boygirlbyflux, girlbyboyflux, or girlenboyflux: enbirl/enboygirlby or enbygirlboy/boygirlenby genderflux identity, in which one is a girl, boy, and nonbinary (enby/enban), but those genders fluctuate in intensity.
Augmentative or alternatives: enmanwomanflux; femachenbyflux or femaslenbyflux (femaslenby).
Term and flag by Gender Wiki user Sallikescake (stripes equally sized/adapted/adjusted by me). Other synonyms by me.
Neutrosexual Pride Flag
Neutrosexual or neutralsexual has three definitions:
Sexual orientation that refers to individuals who put sexual desire in the background, and who relate to anyone regardless of sex, gender or sexual orientation, confused with asexuality, as the term originates as a synonym for someone indifferent to sex, and confused with pansexuality because it has elements in common, but with subtle differences.
A way of being, a condition to which a person relates to other people with subjective interests and not essentially carnal interests, which do not have a limit position of sexual attraction, the one who absorbs the sexuality of those who love or feel romantic affective connections.
It is the denomination of a being who expresses his sexuality through the spirit, loving others from within, sublimating carnal sexual genders of masculine and feminine. Your main ways of loving someone begin with the analysis of the personality that may have a vibration compatible with the spiritual nature of the other.
I decided to make a bunch of flags for nonbinary/abinary/midbinary/atrinary/midtrinary/androgyne/agender/neutrois/maverique/ilyagender/aporagender/outherine/kenochoric/xenogendersex terms (equivalent to male/female), adult terms (equivalent to man/woman), child terms (equivalent to boy/girl), as well as extra ones for genderfluid, genderfluix, genderflux, butch, futch, and femme combos.
This will be a compilation of all those posts (I’ll add the links as they’re posted).
Some of these terms already have flags made by other people. I still wanted to make them in my own style, so I made flags for terms that already have flags. I’ll link the other flags I’ve found here, for anyone curious or wanting different designs. Note: for the links names’, I just picked one term to list them as, instead of listing every term that flag can be called by, to keep it brief and more easily readable.
This is my proposition for a new community label, intended to parallel LGBTA/MOGAI/GSRM, while covering a larger scope of minority identities/concepts not otherwise included in those acronyms.
These identities/concepts can include but are not limited to:
labels & identities: non-exclusive community/personal labels and self identifiers such as queer, binary & nonbinary genders, xenogenders, users of reclaimed slurs, alterhuman/nonhumans, otherkin, intersex, etc
orientations: sexualities, romantic attractions, as well as sensual, aesthetic, platonic, amative attractions (and more), all aspec identities, queerplatonic/polyamorous/amatopunk (‘nonstandard’ relationships), neuro-sexualities/orientations etc
other: neopronouns/pnc, bipoc, kink, sex work, plurality, mental & physical disabilities/illnesses, neurodivergence as well as terms experienced through the lense of or otherwise affected by ones plurality, disabilities/illnesses, and neurodivergence.
What LIOM does NOT include/support:
anything such as pedophilic, nonconsensual, zoophilic, incestuous, or abusive relationships, or genders/identities/labels positively relating to and or promoting these things.
The flag is my attempt to represent all aspects of the community while simultaneously not being a striped flag. A full breakdown of the flag meaning can be found below the cut.
coined by me! also holy shit this took forever to write out and the flag took forever to make and im pretty sure i couldve written it way better/more concise manner but this is what i did with the brainpower available to me. this is me basically being annoyed/disgruntled/unhappy with the currently available community acronyms after years and years and finally just making my own !

In the center of the rectangle, there is a dark olive green ring of thorns in the red section and in the black section there is the continuation of the ring but in solid black with a white rose. In the bottom left, there is a diamond pattern of red/black, and in the center there is a white circle with two crossed swords, the left one red and the right one black. In the bottom right, there is a dual colored muted green rectangle, its bottom half being a darker shade of muted green, with three rows of white stars, the top row having three stars, the middle row having two, and the bottom row having three again. The pink cross represents unity and solidarity between all minority communities.
Top-Left: the sun and moon. a representation of the gender binary and its ability to overlap/expand beyond its confines. Purple represents ambiguity/androgyny.
Top-Right: the white rose & ring of thorns. the white rose is a representation of the beauty and validity of all orientations, including non-sexual non-romantic ones. the ring of thorns is a representation of aspecness, trauma/neuro influenced orientations, and defense/protection of the aspec community.
Bottom-Left: the crossed swords. the crossed swords represent strength, overlap, and unity between the neurodivergent and psychotic communities. the guard of the red sword is in the shape of the neurodivergent mobius strip. the sword is red to support the new autism symbol and hostility towards autism speaks/the blue puzzle piece. the guard of the black sword is the symbol of the psychotic community. the black and red background symbolizes the demonization of the communities/ableism/psyism, the white circle represents overcoming, empowering, and bringing to light the issues both communities face.
Bottom-Right: the stars. the third object in the saying ‘sun, moon, and stars’, likewise represents genders unrepresented by the binary. whether this be culturally exclusive genders, xenogenders, neurogenders, nonhuman genders, autonomous genders, etc. green represents neutrality, and/or otherness.

A koala bear, or teddy bear, is a queer man who is generally small/short (though not always), chubby, and hairy or “fluffy”. They may also just be called “koalas” or “teddies”. This term can be a subset of bear or cub depending on who uses it. Koala bears may range from moderately hairy, to very hairy, and can be any age.
Koala bears are generally soft, and/or prefer a more gentle or “cute” presentation, similar to a teddy bear (hence the names). Koala bears are a blend of this and rugged masculinity that is often found in the bear subculture.
Keep in mind that those who fall under the definition of this term do not have to use them. The bear subculture is a diverse one, and being soft/cute/etc. does not mean you have to use a subterm. This is an option for those who want it and feel comfortable with it.

Battle Axe Bisexual, also known as a Band-aid Bisexual is a term for bisexuals who push back against biphobia and uplift and support other bisexuals. This is NOT an exclusionist term, this is using the original definition of battle axe bisexual. A battle axe bisexual acknowledges that multisexual terms other than bisexual exist. They acknowledge that not everybody under the multisexual umbrella is also inherently bisexual. For example, they acknowledge and accept that some omnisexuals may also identify as bisexual and acknowledge and accept that some omnisexuals may only identify as omnisexual.
based on this post, which was made by a radfem but i’m reclaiming it because i believe that we should not limit or define such a beautiful, meaningful, and historical flag to people who are not welcome in our community. the more we use it for our pride, the less it is a symbol of their hate.
of course, if you do not feel comfortable using this flag then you do not have to whatsoever. it is a personal choice and i do not wish to force this on anyone. we should be allowed to use whatever flags we want to express ourselves!

The upper-left and lower-right portions form triangles, with the space in between being thicker than both triangle. The upper-left corner is steel blue and the lower-right corner is jade green. The diagonal between is off-white. In the middle of the flag is a centered horizontal stripe. This stripe is a saturated yellow. ./. End ID}

Etymology

From Esperanto, “Libereco” meaning “Liberty”, shortened to “Liberec”. Coined by Gent (Gender-Jargon) in June 2024.
Elaboration
[PT: Elaboration ./. End PT]
Liberec is loosely related to Liberique (link) [PT: Liberique ./. End PT], coined by tumblr user Mogai-Archive in August 2014. A pride flag was made for Liberique (link) [PT: A pride flag was made for Liberique (link) ./. End PT] by user Pride-Color-Schemes in July 2016. The concept of liberty is key to both identities, but the similarities end there. Liberec shares some qualities with Maverique and Alithix.
Liberec experiences can vary greatly from individual to individual, but every Liberec individual embodies a sense of freedom from all oppressive entities that effect their personal experience.
Elements that are essential to the identity include:
a sense of self that feels free from control, interference, obligation, restriction or other hampering condition imposed upon one’s. experience and/or identity in any regard
…a sense of self that is free of kyriarchial prescriptions.
freedom of thought and action.
Liberec is an outherine gender identity related to a personal sense of liberty. It is autonomous (AUIN) and variant (VARIN) in it’s nature.
Pride Flag
[PT: Pride Flag ./. End PT]
The pride flag was created at the same time as the term by the coiner (Gent, GJ, 6/24). The flag is a diagonal design, originating from the bottom-left corner to the upper-right corner in three parts. The middle diagonal is slightly larger than the each corner. The upper-left corner is steel blue and the lower-right is jade green. The middle portion is off-white. A central, horizontal line is in the middle. The central, horizontal line is a saturated yellow. The colors have the following meanings:
The steel blue corner represents autonomy and freedom of thought and action.
The jade green corner represents freedom from the prescriptions of the kyriarchy.
The off-white diagonal line represents variance.
The yellow stripe represents a sense of liberty.
