Well lets see… if its the character, but not people whose kintype is that character, then that may be more under the ficto- umbrella. So maybe something like fictoflux (or -fluid or -flexible, whichever you feel fits). Or perhaps a combination of ficto- and kin-? You’re always welcome to coin something entirely new as well!
No need to be sorry! 🙂 So alignment, in the sense you’re describing, is specifically for non-binary people. (As far as I know anyways, I may be mistaken about this!). Cis women can, of course, be masculine. But this isn’t the same as alignment! So if you think you’re masculine-aligned and not just masculine in, say, presentation, then its possible that you may be non-binary. That’s up to you to figure out that one. 🙂
As for pronouns, anyone of any gender can use any pronouns. So even if you’re cis, you’re definitely welcome to use whatever pronouns make you feel more comfortable. 😀 Hope that helps!
Orientationgender: when your gender IS your orientation, or when your orientation is so intrinsically tied to your gender that you absolutely cannot separate the two. The word “orientation” can be replaced with your orientation label, ex: gaygender, lesbiangender, etc.
Semisensual: feeling attraction of different forms but not complete. How this type of attraction involves various tactile acts, it may be good to express when you want to hug but never kiss someone and vice versa, for example.
This is commonly used as semissensorialin Brazilian Portuguese. The flag mixes both asensual and aro/ace sensual color flags.
Hello! I’m a new mod here. To avoid prolonging so much this post I’m gonna say my name is Kau (kah-aw), I’m genderflux and aceflux and that’s it. Maybe you already saw me on this blog or not. I’m not so good with English because it is not my first language, then I will not make long speeches here either.

Allodasexual: sexual attraction to otherkin or otherwise non-human identifying Homo sapiens. Any prefix can be put over it, so for example: panallodasexual (so any pride flag can be put on the sides). Meant to be those who also identify as non-human.
Kinsexual: the sexual attraction to specific kintypes, for example: catkinsexual. Although some have used it as overall attraction to otherkin, similar to allodasexual.
Medusan: referring to alterhuman/nonhuman people who are sexually and/or romantically attracted to other alterhuman people and/or nonhumans. this can mean monsters, aliens, or mythical creatures – any intelligent nonhuman creature.
I don’t currently know of a singular term that encompasses being Agender, Asexual, and Aromantic at the same time as of right now. I don’t even think there is a term yet that describes your gender prefix being the same as your orientation prefix. If you’d like to coin something, you’re definitely welcome to!
Hello! A while back I decided to kind of redesign the polyamorous flag so it’d be easier on the eyes, as the colors of the actual flag can be harsh on some people’s eyes.
Color meanings do remain the same, as I like the meaning behind them. I hope everyone likes how it looks!
It feels necessary for me to mention that The American Psychiatric Association has openly stated that you do not need to suffer from dysphoria to be transgender and also acknowledges the existence of non binary genders.
Here is the link. Here’s a quote defining transgender:
“Transgender is a non-medical term that has been used increasingly since the 1990s as an umbrella term describing individuals whose gender identity (inner sense of gender) or gender expression (outward performance of gender) differs from the sex or gender to which they were assigned at birth. Some people who use this term do not consider themselves as matching a binary gender category. In addition, new terms such as genderqueer, bigendered, and agendered are increasingly in use.”
Here’s the followup:
“Not all transgender people suffer from gender dysphoria and that distinction is important to keep in mind. Gender dysphoria and/or coming out as transgender can occur at any age.”
A psychological state is considered a mental disorder only if it causes significant distress or disability. Many transgender people do not experience their gender as distressing or disabling, which implies that identifying as transgender does not constitute a mental disorder.”
Conclusion: if the American Psychological Association, the American Psychiatric association, the DSM-V, and Denmark’s laws all agree that being trans isn’t a mental disorder, I’d be happy to sit on that fence.
This took me literally 10 minutes of googling.
I’m gonna keep adding resources to support trans people! Trigger warning for suicide up ahead, just fyi.
Here’s a Harvard study about the neurological divergence between genders.
Key quotes:
“Those persons who identify as transgender (the “T” in many queer community acronyms) are those who identify with a gender that differs from their assigned sex… Though the typical assigned sexes are “male” and “female,” often designated at birth, being transgender does not limit gender identity to these two categories, as many who identify as transgender do not feel they are exclusively masculine or feminine.”
The essay conclusion:
“Science tells us that gender is certainly not binary; it may not even be a linear spectrum. Like many other facets of identity, it can operate on a broad range of levels and operate outside of many definitions. And it also appears that gender may not be as static as we assume. At the forefront of this, transgender identity is complex – it’s unlikely we’ll ever be able to attribute it to one neat, contained set of causes, and there is still much to be learned. But we know now that several of those causes are biological. These individuals are not suffering a mental illness, or capriciously “choosing” a different identity. The transgender identity is multi-dimensional – but it deserves no less recognition or respect than any other facet of humankind.“
Summary: gender isn’t binary and being transgender isn’t a mental illness.
“Removing the mental health label from transgender identity would be a powerful signifier of acceptance, advocates and mental health professionals say.“
oh, and to shut the REGs up:
“Many, but not all, advocates favor the idea of keeping transgender in the codebook in some form because the designations are widely used for billing and insurance coverage of medical services and for conducting research on diseases and treatments.“
IE: proof that you can declassify being transgender as a mental illness but rather recategorize it to reduce the spread of stigma while also allowing trans people to have care
Some truscum/reg type tried to tell me that “trans people are obviously mentally ill because of the high suicide rate!”
“But the biggest driver behind the staggeringly higher death rate among Inuit children and teens is suicide. The report, from Statistics Canada’s health analysis division, found that the suicide rate among children and teens in the Inuit homelands was 30 times that of youth in the rest of Canada during the five-year period from 2004 to 2008.”
and
“Suicide affects the youth in Indigenous communities more than any other demographic. Suicide occurs roughly 5 to 6 times more often among Indigenous youth than non-Indigenous youth in Canada.“
Here’s an interesting article about trans suicide rate (and also how race plays into it) and gives us percentages.
My point is that trans people aren’t inherently fucked up and don’t suffer from mental illnesses because they’re trans, they suffer from mental illnesses because they are an at-risk group like any other minority.
Truscum do not interact, these aren’t up for debate, these are articles. If you want me to add more to this list, hmu!
For all the truscum/transmeds coming to my blog, please read this!
Hey the first source included people who like to cross dress as trans which they are not so uh what
Hey! Which source are you talking about? The first one was the Expert Q and A, and this is what it had to say about crossdressing:
If a man likes to dress in women’s clothes but does not want to be a woman and otherwise lives typically as a male, does he have a psychiatric disorder? No. Such a desire is called transvestitism and it is not a psychiatric disorder.
Unless it was one of the other sources? I’m not super keen on the phrase “transvestitism” since it’s a bit dated, but it acknowledges that it’s a separate thing from being transgender.
While transgender is generally a good term to use, not everyone whose appearance or behavior is gender-nonconforming will identify as a transgender person.
The way that it’d defined here explains the difference between gender nonconforming peoples and transgender, but some of the people use “transgender” as an umbrella term for any/all gender nonconforming identities, which isn’t exactly here-nor-there at best, inaccurate at worst.
Does that help at all? If not, tell me which source it was and I can fix it! 😀
Wow!!! Over 1000 notes now! Heck, while we’re at it, let’s talk a little bit more about being nonbinary!
As many of you know, binary genders are a western construct. Here is a SUPER COOL INTERACTIVE EXPLORATION TOOL provided by the PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) that tells us about nonbinary cultures around the world! It’s an interactive map where you can click on pins and it’ll tell you information about the genders of the culture! It’s not super in depth, but it’s a great survey!
Website quote:
“On nearly every continent, and for all of recorded history, thriving cultures have recognized, revered, and integrated more than two genders. Terms such as “transgender” and “gay” are strictly new constructs that assume three things: that there are only two sexes (male/female), as many as two sexualities (gay/straight), and only two genders (man/woman).
Yet hundreds of distinct societies around the globe have their own long-established traditions for third, fourth, fifth, or more genders. The subject of Two Spirits, Fred Martinez, for example, was not a boy who wanted to be a girl, but both a boy and a girl — an identity his Navajo culture recognized and revered as nádleehí. Meanwhile, Hina of Kumu Hina is part of a a native Hawaiian culture that has traditionally revered and respected mahu, those who embody both male and female spirit.
Most Western societies have no direct correlation for this tradition, nor for the many other communities without strict either/or conceptions of sex, sexuality, and gender. Worldwide, the sheer variety of gender expression is almost limitless. Take a tour and learn how other cultures see gender diversity.“
So basically, it’s not that “other cultures have nonbinary genders”, but more like “other cultures don’t have a gender binary to begin with! Gender is a construct and is constantly evolving.
A real anthropologist will never shit on you for making up a name for your gender. It doesn’t matter if “it’s silly”, you’re subverting the western tradition of the binary and that’s super rad!
Here’s the wikipedia page for genders around the world! Now, I don’t have to tell you that wikipedia can be edited by anyone really easily (how do I know? Me and three classmates made a page about a local artist. It took us 3 hours), so not all of the information is going to be accurate, but think of it as another good starting point before hitting the books!
“But the reality is that transgender people have been striving for their rights in America before the 1960s, when a black trans woman named Marsha P. Johnson is credited by manyfor throwing the first brick during the Stonewall Inn riots, ushering in the start of a movement. Just years earlier, transgender people protested police crackdowns on their very existence in San Francisco at the Compton’s Cafeteria riots. Other moments of defiance exist, of course, but remain untold.
Half a century of struggle for trans rights in the U.S. is only one thread of a larger global tapestry. Employing a variety of genders beyond man and woman across the world, people who don’t identify with the gender they were assigned at birth have been working for centuries to guarantee their liberties since ancient times. The recent explosion of visibility might make the fight for trans rights seem like a recent development in the United States, but it’s a fight that’s been happening here for decades and around the world for centuries. Understanding that history will only help to inform the ongoing struggle for the liberation of gender-variant people everywhere.”
And yes, those links in the first paragraph are clickable!
Summary of Vogue: trans people are NOT a contemporary phenomenon, but a historical one. They exist in cultures across the world and in our own culture dating back centuries and millennia.
I highly recommend taking a peek at the article, since there are TONS of links in there that you can take a look more trans history. JUST AS A WARNING: they are mostly articles written by blogs/newspapers/etc and therefore have singular author bias and I haven’t gotten my way through many of them yet to tell you which ones are good and which ones are bad, but it’s a great place to start digging for trans history! If you find anything really cool, please feel free to add it!
As per usual, trus.cum/ter.fs don’t interact. This is a place to spread knowledge, not a discussion board.
MTM (Male-to-Male): a trans man who considers himself transitioning from male to male, as he has always been male, just not in the way being male is traditionally defined as. An alternative to FTM.
Gaiflux: gai-identifying person experiencing flux attraction.
Gai = gay, aka very not straight, for girls, boys or nbs but like, in the non-binary way. So any nb person can use it to talk about how fucking gai they are for whoever they’re gai for. A term for NBLW to describe their love of women, or for NBLM to describe their love of men, or for NBLNB to describe their love of non-binaries.
Straytflux (or heteraflux): a straight person changing the attractional intensity, for nbs, girls and boys too. Straight version of gai.

Monoflux: experiencing flux attraction at the mono- umbrella.
Umbrella term for heteroflux and homoflux (lesbiflux/gayflux) as requested in @beyond-mogai-pride-flags. Mono- means attraction to one gender, can be also pluralian or singularic. -flux is when the intensity changes (spectrum for biflux, aflux (aceflux/aroflux), polyflux, pomoflux, etc.).
I don’t know of any that specific, so I’ll list the closest I could find. If none of these fit, you’re welcome to coin your own and submit it!
Attentio-: Only experiencing attraction after interest of whatever nature is shown. Different from Recip- in that the attraction doesn’t have to be the same, so someone could show romantic interest and the attentiosexual person could then feel sexual attraction to them.
Recip- : A person that only feels attraction only if the other person feels attraction to them at first.
Cogitati-: You only experience attraction in your own thoughts; you imagine yourself performing the related act and feeling attraction, but you don’t feel attraction outside of that.

Also referred to as Bijoume, Bijoumi, or Bijoumie. Lajou or Lajoume is a diminutive affectionate term for this that implies delicacy. Derived from Polari (a cant that was historically used by the queer community). derived from the words “bijou” (meaning small or little in Polari, jewel in french) and “Ome/Omme/Omi” (meaning man in Polari). Lajou or Lajoume is derived from the words “Ome/Omme/Omi” (meaning man in Polari), “lacy” (old slang for effeminate queer (often gay) man), and “bijou” (meaning small or little in Polari, jewel in french)
Bijoumme specifically refers to a nblm or mlm person who is not female aligned who presents femininely, similar to a “fem”, but is for some reason uncomfortable with that term or just doesn’t like the term. This can refer to ones gender, their gender presentation, both of these, or both of these in combination their sexuality. It cannot be used by someone who is attracted to women, sexually or romantically. It is also connected to anti assimilationist movements in non cisgender, heterosexual, heteromantic communities.
Some notes on symbolism!
Pink symbolizes feminine presentation and the specific shade was chosen to represent strength and call back to the fact that pink was originally a color associated with masculinity
Turquoise also kinda symbolizes femininity, I chose a darker shade to balance that with masculinity
Purple represents regality and pride in ones identity
Blue represents masculinity and confidence and trust in oneself
All the colors are in jewel tones to call back to the etymology of the term, and the diagonal lines in it going upwards represent positivity and also is kind of a visual pun on the ‘not straight’ part of the identity
(Note: the crookedness of the stripes is not really intentional- the program I made this on didn’t have a tool that allowed me to copy lines and I had to draw it with a mouse pad so it just kinda ended up like this)
Melauche: combining “melancholic” and “farouche” (which is another word meaning shy or introverted). A shy gender, it is characterized by someone wanting to hide who they are to avoid conflict or attention. Still, there is a sense of self in this gender, although it can feel melancholic or introverted at times. A person with this gender will keep it very close to themselves, and rarely shares it.
Gloomgender: Nonbinary/indifferent. Mostly darkness, the new moon phase, apathy and a mix of a bit of masculinity, bit of femininity and lack of gender. Can include sadness, grief and depression.
Botgender: A gender that goes by the belief of robots not not feeling emotions. It’s a gender that feels cold like steel but also static-y. Easier way to describe it is just feeling like a robot. Note: Can be used by Robot/android/cybertroniankins or nonkin who appreciate robots.
I thought I’d join in on the trend of making aesthetic pride flags! Hope you enjoy!
[Image description: two pride flags mimicking the asexual pride flag, each with four horizontal stripes with the following colors (from top to bottom): dark blue, beige, white, and teal. The second flag has a silhouette of an anchor over the middle two stripes. End description.]

(for pangender people)
Panilian for nblm
Panirian for nblw
Panidian for nblnb
Panixian for nblx (loving xenics/xenines)
Paninic for loving pangenders
(for xenine/xenogender/xenic people)
Xin- (xenic in nature) attracted to xenogenders
Xenirian for xlw/nblw
Xenilian for xlm/nblm
Xenidian for xlnb/nblnb
Xeninic/xenixian for xlx/nblx
Opalian: describes an individual who is mlm, nblm, nblnb, and mlnb.
Inspired by @wlwnblw‘s coining of iridian, I decided to coin a similar term to describe my identity! Opalian can apply to anybody who identifies with all four terms, regardless of other identity components!
I made three flags for it and I’d like help choosing the official flag! Flag 1 (top) is meant to have similar contrast to the iridian flag. Flag 2 (middle) was made by swapping stripes on Flag 1 into an arrangement I liked better. Flag 3 (bottom) was made by taking colors from a photograph of an opal and is my personal favorite. Reblog to spread the word!
Jouine: from “joy” and “sanguine”. A joyful gender, very happy and euphoric about who they are. They are happy to express their gender, and know that it is special.
It could! Lunarian is for female-aligned nonbinary people. Now, alignment =/= gender, but if that’s what you think fits, then you can definitely use it!
Well, the suffix -sexual means to feel sexual attraction and doesn’t have to do with sex repulsion. So you can still be a sex-repulsed pansexual. There are some more specific terms I can give you, though!
ARCsexual: the general term for a person who feels averse, repulsed, or conflicted towards sex
Inact- or Initia- When someone experiences attraction and wants a relationship but doesn’t want or is repulsed by actions associated with that type of attraction
Repuls- An orientation characterized by repulsion to sex/romance/etc. Can be paired up with any other orientation (Repulsbisexual, Repulsemaromantic, etc).
You could also use Auto-, Self-, or Solo- to denote your preference to perform such acts on yourself.
So if you identify as two separate genders, then that could be Bigender.
You could also try Demigender, which is is an umbrella term for nonbinary gender identities that have a partial connection to a certain gender.
There’s also Half-binary, which is a gender identity that is partially binary and partially nonbinary AND/OR Identifying at least partially as one or both binary genders, yet feeling disconnected from them due to self doubt, or due to neurodivergence making ones gender difficult to understand.
queer undefined is a crowdsourced queer dictionary of LGBTQ+ terminology – but it’s more about complicating definitions than boxing us in.
if you want to know what to call yourself, if you wish more people knew what your identity means, if you’re not sure what the difference between bi and pan is – this site is for you. Go check it out, and submit some definitions!
so far i have ~300 definitions, and i could use some more!
This looks like a really great resource everyone can help contribute to!
Faesari: a gender identity where one feels most comfortable within the gender neutral spectrum, but still feels a strong attachment to femininity. Pronounced “fay-sar-ee”
This is a fan submission! Thanks!

Haphephobia/Thixophobia/Haptophobia: A rare, specific phobia that involves the fear of touching or of being touched.
Top/First Flag: By Mod Vasilisa
Bottom/Second Flag: By me, Mod Dare
(A haphephobia mad pride flag was posted March 2nd, 2018, but haphephobia was never removed from the request list. I ended up making a flag and opted to share, alternative flags never hurt. 😊)

Fire Emblem fictionkin: Identifying partially or entirely as a character from Fire Emblem.
The colors are based around the idea of fire, and the symbols in the middle are the fairy star, a symbol largely used by the otherkin and therian community, combined with two logos I found for the Fire Emblem games.
Made by me,
– Mod Dare
(P.S., I have very little knowledge of Fire Emblem and as such I am open to alternative flags or ideas.)
We’re not really a pronoun blog, so I don’t personally know of any! I would suggest checking out a pronoun blog. But if any of our followers know of any pronouns that would work for this anon, please let them know in the notes. 😀
in order, the suptilic versions of aesthetic, platonic, quasiplatonic, romantic, sensual, sexual, and alterous attraction.
suptilic: a descriptor for when your orientation is strict: not flexible, fluid, or in flux. it can be described as a strict orientation, because suptilis is a variation of the latin word meaning delicate, strict, fine, or exact. the flag consists of monochromatic shades to an intensely colored flag/symbol for your orientation, representing the seperation between your orientation and others.
this term was inspired by amplusic, coined by @arco-pluris. this is a set of terms that apply to my strict orientation and may be helpful for others. when the upload is finished, high quality versions of the flags will be available here.
There are a few genders that are related to colors:
Colorgender: A gender associated with one or more colors and the feelings, hues, emotions, and/or objects associated with that color. Can be used like pinkgender, violetgender, etc.
Darkgender: A type of colorgender; a gender that can be described with the absence of all color. (No known flag)
Lightgender: A type of colorgender; a gender that can be described by the presence of all colors at once. (No known flag)
Palettegender: Related to colorgender; having multiple colors or the feelings associated with them reflect your gender identity, creating a “gender palette”. (No known flag)
Prismagender: A type of colorgender; a gender that can be described with all colors of the rainbow. (No known flag)
Technigender: A type of colorgender; a gender that can be described by multiple, but not all, colors. (No known flag)
I don’t think there is just yet, ‘cause it’s a reeeallly new term. Looking through the notes, it looks like someone suggested Osirian, but it doesn’t look like anyone made a definitive term or flag for something like that just yet. If anyone does, I’ll reblog it to keep you updated! 🙂
There’s a new identity label!
Iridian – someone who is wlw, wlnb, nblnb, and nblw. Basically someone with multiple genders (female and nonbinary) who is attracted to women and nonbinary people.

Hellgender: a xenogender specifically for demonkin, darkkin, monsterkin, etc, and/or Satanists, meaning you feel connected to a gender that cannot be described in mundane terms but only by those in hell.
Daimogender: When you feel your gender is closely related to demons or the supernatural. This is not exclusively for demonkin, though if anyone uses it, the coiner would like them to be involved in supernatural things. a person does not require dysphoria to be Daimogender.
2) Platoniromantic is described as attraction where an individual feels no distinction between romantic and platonic attraction, while Quoi- has many other descriptions, including:
Being unsure if you experience attraction or not Being unable to understand attraction as a concept or feeling Finding the concept of attraction inaccessible, inapplicable, nonsensical Being unable to define sexual attraction and so unable to say whether or not you experience it Having difficulty distinguishing sexual attraction from other types of attraction Struggling to find a sexual orientation that is applicable to you because attraction is too complicated or because none seem to fit Not experiencing sexuality, sexual orientation or sexual attraction as it is normally defined
3) Amicagender is described as a gender that changes depending on which friend you’re with at the moment, so I’m not sure how that could also be an orientation but I could be wrong!
From a quick, not-very-extensive Google search, The Guardian states that ‘Polygender’ is a late 1990s Californian invention used to describe a state of being multiple genders.
A few other sources I saw in the search also mentioned the 90′s, so your best bet would probably to start looking into that.
So first, you can still be a guy and be feminine. That doesn’t make you any less of a man. However! If you feel like you’re partly a man and partly a woman, then its possible that you might be bigender or demigender! Whatever you feel is more likely. 🙂
As for your orientation, it sounds like you could be grey-asexual! Adding to that that you feel you might be attracted to men and women, then you could be bi-, or somewhere on the multi- spectrum. It can be heard to know for sure which genders you’re attracted to if you’re grey-ace or anywhere on the a-spectrum, but you’re always welcome to try labels and then change them later if you decide they don’t actually fit. There’s no rush! 😀
If you’re only wanting to describe your gender as just having a gender, then I have an option for ya. 🙂
Comgender: Polar opposite of Agender. To have/experience gender. A gender label to use if you do not wish to narrow your gender down any further than simply having gender.
My name is Darian, and I’m the new moderator for Beyond Mogai Pride Flags. I use he/him and they/them pronouns, and I love making pride flags! I will be using the sign-off “Mod Dare” since that’s my nickname.
I identify as queer transmasculine, and to put it most simply I’m aromantic bisexual. I was recently diagnosed with persistent depressive disorder, but I try my best to see the silver lining. 😊
Feel free to message me or follow me @obscure-dare, I don’t bite!
Thank you,

Warren Graham from Life Is Strange fictionkin: Identifying partially or entirely as Warren Graham from LiS.
The colors are based around his color scheme.
Made by me,

I made a Borderline Personality Disorder pride flag! I know that someone made one and submitted it here already, but I wanted to try making one too 🙂

The black and white background is representative of splitting/black and white thinking. There are gray lines all over the background to represent the gray areas of thinking. The light pink/lavender/dark purple dotted lines going up on the white half of the flag represent feeling really good, like you’re on top of the world and you love your FP(s) a lot, and the light blue/cerulean/dark blue dotted lines going down on the black half of the flag represent depression and hating your FP(s). The wavy half-circle type things represent the change and fluctuation of emotions, and the red heart in the middle is for strong emotions.
Alternatives are always welcome! Thanks for the submission! 🙂
Edit: The flag designer has made a statement here about why they made this flag and who its for.
-Fy
Adfecturomantic: Like adfectusexual aromantic based on neurodivergency.
😀
-Fy
Adfectusexual: Asexuality influenced by neurodivergency
You can use any pronouns you wants! I would suggest looking through a pronoun blog like @pronoun-provider (they’re not active at the moment, but they have a pretty comprehensive list of pronouns you can look through).
That definitely doesn’t sound weird, we’ve actually had questions like this before! However, I don’t think a term has been coined for something like this yet, as far as I know. So if you’d like to coin one, you’re welcome to submit it! 🙂
So I know some youngsters (”young” as in people in their 20s and younger) want to “reclaim” the word “queer”. For those who don’t know, in its most ‘simple’ definition, it means someone who does NOT identify as straight. However, this word has a very dark history.
In the 1980s, HIV/AIDS got national attention. Studies were done during this time, and tended to point their finger at gay men and women (however the public eye typically scapegoated the gay man more than women). “Gay central’s” (where gay men/women could feel more comfortable coming forward with their sexual orientation or in cities that were ‘known’ to have more of a ‘gay population’) were hit particularly hard by the HIV/AIDS crisis, with many lives being lost (or permanently debilitated, given the nature of the illness).
Hate crimes went up and the straight community would use ‘queer’ as they were beating up/torturing/possibly killing a gay man/woman. This is why this term is extremely controversial in contemporary times and why one should use heavy caution with this word, when using it in front of others.
*For those curious, this flag is one of the many possible flags for ‘queer’* *source: tumblr account that’s no longer active

Don’t worry, I didn’t delete it or anything. Some asks just take a shorter time to answer than others. I’ll definitely get to your ask at some point. 🙂
Amorgender/Erogender: When your gender changes whilst in the presence of an individual to whom you have developed a deep connection for.
Sexo(or Romo/Sensu/etc.)fluid: Describes someone whose gender changes to be the same or similar to the gender(s) they are sexually (or romantically/sensually/etc.) attracted to at the moment.
Erigender: For multisexual people, a gender identity that shifts as their preferences and attractions shift.
Gendershift: A fluid gender identity that is influenced by what kind of attraction a persona is experiencing at any given time.
Typically, the idea is that if you’re not cis, then you are in some way trans.
However, there are some people who feel like that doesn’t fit their narrative. Some nonbinary people feel that they aren’t trans, or that they are partly trans. There are some words for this (such as Utrinque) but they’re usually reserved for certain cases. I’m not sure if there’s an all-encompassing term for this or not.
They appear to be pretty similar, its just that Aliquis- has more of a focus on personality instead of gender. Whichever you feel more comfortable using. 🙂
Persexual: An alternative to the word “abrosexual”, it is used for people who believe their sexual orientation is fluid.
If you don’t want just say Nonbinary Masculine/Male aligned, you could use the term Solarian! And someone attracted to multiple genders could use Polysexual, or Multisexual if you don’t want to be specific. Your attraction isn’t contingent on who you’ve so far dated. 😀
That’s totally understandable. I would suggest that you look into Alterous and Queerplatonic attraction. These are different from sensual, romantic, and platonic attraction.
Alterous is like an umbrella term that covers all attraction that is not completely platonic or completely romantic, while Queerplatonic falls under that umbrella as it represents attraction that is a hybrid of platonic and either alterous or romantic attraction, or attraction that is based in platonic but transcends it.
Alterous and Queerplatonic (also called Quasiplatonic or Quirkyplatonic) relationships can be just as committed and meaningful as any Romantic relationship, and many in such relationships get married and even have children! I would definitely look into communities and talk to other people who are in these sorts of relationships to see if that fits you better. Good luck! 😀
Aco-/Acor-: Experiencing attraction that one wants to act on, but at the same time having a strong aversion to engaging in it due to bad experiences, apprehension, or other misgivings about being involved in romantic relationships or sexual activity, etc.
Bigender means to feel two genders, while Genderfluid means you can feel any number of genders, but they switch over time.
Last one lol
Masculine transwomen flag: Blue representing masculinity in their gender expression and the pink representing their identity as a female.
Awesome, thank you!
-Fy
Sorry to be a bother I just thought id submit two more since ive had these stored up for a while now.
Feminine transmen flag: Pink representing the femininity in their gender expression while the blue is representing their gender identity as a male.
Not a problem at all! Submissions are always welcome! 😀
-Fy
Gamyflux: When someone fluctuates from Non-monogamous to Monogamous and in between. The blue, pink, and white represents non-monogamous flag and the white, gray, and black represents the monogamous flag. The white middle area where the white of both flags meet is that middle ground where the person is on a middle ground between the two.
Looks great!! 😀 Thanks so much for the submission!
Pomosexual: The “nonbinary” area “between” the different LGBTQIA orientations out there (the easiest way to explain it
Pomoace: an individual who feels like there currently isn’t a word to accurately describe how they experience their own sexuality, BUT they feel most connected to the asexual community. This is NOT a way of saying they’re asexual or asexual spectrum, rather they can relate a lot to what asexual and asexual spectrum people experience and go through. The pomo prefixe acknowledges that there might be a term in the future as our understanding of human sexuality becomes more comprehensive.
Pomoimpla: The idea behind this identity (pomoimpla) is that at the time, there is currently no specific sexual/romantic/sensual (again, depending on what suffix you apply this identity to) but you feel like sometime in the future, our ideas and philosophies behind what makes up our “identity” will advance to a point where a new term will be found and you will feel comfortable identifying as such.
Omniacepomo: Person on asexual spectrum who has no preference for partner sex/gender, feels current LGBT+ terminology is not developed enough to pin-point their identity. Omniacepomo was developed due to the creator finding frustration within the LGBT+ community, seeing trends where people would say things like “asexual-pansexual” which, linguistically speaking, doesn’t make too much sense (saying you simultaneously have sexual attraction and don’t at the same time). Found in the pomosexual umbrella.
BunnyPomo: Someone who does NOT experience sexual attraction (or is NOT SURE if they experience sexual attraction), but has a strong preference for romantic and sensual activities (kissing, cuddling, dates, hand holding, etc.) over sexual activities when it comes to relationships.
Novisexual: Feeling as though your sexual attraction is too complicated to pin down to one word. Found in pomosexual community.
Cryptosexual: A sexual orientation one cannot discern, describe or define in our current English vocabulary/words because one is puzzled by it. There is no pattern to how you feel/don’t feel sexual orientation. Any time you attempt to think of a way to describe your sexual orientation, you just feel “lost”.
Comsexual: A term to use for people who want to say “I experience sexual attraction” (so the opposite of asexual), but don’t want to specify further, how they experience sexual attraction. This term can be found in the pomosexual community.
Byumasexual: A sexual orientation term for those who experienced some kind of trauma during the “awakening” of their sexual attractoin/orientation (for example: when one first starts to date or gets curious about their own sexual orientation). Due to this trauma, the concept or idea of “sexual attraction” is a very confusing subject to them. These individuals might have a basic idea of their orientation (”I know I am not straight” or “I know I am not gay”) but beyond that, it is a mystery. People who identify as Byumasexual might have a history of “cycling” through different sexual orientation terms, attempting to find a term that they feel comfortable with (the “light bulb moment”).This term is a more specific version of unthenalsexual. This term is NOT an excuse to not see professional help if you’re experiencing negative physical and/or mental health symptoms. If this is negatively interferring with your day-to-tday life, please seek out the proper professional.Questioning is not a term these people feel comfortable with. One reason could be that it feels too “superficial”. Another reason could be that they feel like questioning is a “transitioning” term.Byumasexual could easily be connected to caedosexual (believing trauma made you no longer experience sexual attraction), implasexual (Someone who feels they are never quite sure of their sexual orientation due to self doubt or anxiety), or pomosexual (believing there is no current term within the LGBT/MOGAI community that fits you, but there might be in the future).
Pretty sure we hit all of the big ones, if we missed a term, we’re sorry if we missed it!
Ambisexual is to be sexually attracted to people both of the same gender and of a different gender; this is opposed to just Bisexual, which is the attraction to two or more genders, where attraction to the same gender is not required.
Transgender: An umbrella term covering all gender identities or expressions that transgress or transcend society’s rules and concepts of gender. To be trans usually means to identify as a gender other than the gender one was assigned at birth.
Squirrelkin: identifying partially or entirely as a squirrel
So I’ve made up some scenarios of people and their identities to show examples of queerness in case anyone doesn’t feel they’re “queer enough” to identify with queer.
(1) Alyssa was assigned female at birth, considers herself hetero- in every way, but she considers herself gender nonconforming and later found out that she is intersex. Alyssa can, and happily identifies as queer.
(2) June doesn’t identify as any gender, but uses the pronouns of her assigned gender. She simply identifies as queer.
(3) Alexander is heteroromantic, cisgender, and demisexual/demiheterosexual. He sometimes feels unsure of identifying as queer since his experiences don’t always match other queer folk..but nonetheless, he is valid as queer
(4) Jessica is heteroflexible, which means she is almost always exclusively attracted to men, but under rare circumstances she finds herself attracted to a woman or a gender-ambigious person. She is also queer and valid as such
(5) Marty was born intersex but had invasive surgery to make their body parts more lenient to male. Despite this he happily identifies as intersex and queer as well as uses male pronouns.
(6) Lane is heterosexual and hetero in all other aspects, but is a drag queen. He also is queer and happy as such
(7) and lastly, Max is hetero in all aspects except he is asensual. He is queer.
If you are gender nonconforming, aspec, intersex, drag, or nonhetero in some aspect, you are queer if you choose to identify as such.
I would think you would just call yourself cis, since that’s what you consider yourself. Unless you feel like that doesn’t exactly fit you because of your being an alter as part of system? If that’s the case, you could look into Systemfluid, which are genders that change depending on who’s fronting, for DID/multiples.
Akoi-/Akoine-/Lith-/Akoin-: Feeling attraction, but having no desire to have interactions or have feelings reciprocated, OR A person who feels a particular kind of attraction, which fades if it is reciprocated or if they enter a relationship with the person they are attracted to.
Philto-: An orientation in which a person can feel attraction and desire associated acts, but does not desire relationships and quickly gets bored with them.
Then its definitely possible that you could be asexual and/or aromantic, or at least on the a-spectrum. However! Its also possible that you do feel some sort of attraction, but just don’t want to be in a “committed” relationship. In this case, you could also use the word Nonamorous/Anamorous or Agamous. These all essentially mean that, regardless of sexual/romantic/etc. orientation, you don’t want to be in a relationship. This would be your Relationship Orientation.
Don’t be afraid to try different labels that you feel fit you at the moment. Its okay even if you change them later. 🙂
That depends! If you don’t want to be in a sexual or romantic relationship because you aren’t sexually or romantically attracted to anyone, then you may be asexual and aromantic. If its for some other reason, then you may need to do some introspection into why that is, because that’s a whole other thing. 🙂
I hope anon doesn’t mind that I made a flag for this! Months and months late
The colors are based off of the colors of the genderqueer flag. The purple is a feminine but not female color, and the green is a masculine but not male color. The bold black lines are from the genderfluid flag, and the thick white line in the middle represents the absence of gender, while the thin black lines represent a mysterious/other/”unplaceable” gender.
I hope any genderflor people who see this like it! 😊♥️
I hope you don’t mind that I made a couple of flags for it! 😊
The first one is an original idea, with the pink, traditionally feminine, fading into the lavender, the “middle ground” between pink and blue, then the blue, traditionally masculine, fading into the lavender. Plus, the repeating circle with only pink and blue, sybolizing moving directly from feminine to masculine.
The second one is based on the genderfluid flag, except the middle magenta is replaced with the futch lilac, and the pink and blue–femme and butch–are on the outside of the gradient, symbolizing the outward presentation rather than a standalone gender identity.
only feeling attraction after intelectual/spiritual connections.
(more specific than sapio-/noeti-)
Thanks for the submission!

I hope you don’t mind i made flags for both of these terms!
The top one is intelesexual. The blue signifies wisdom and knowledge. It interlocks with the white (in this case, the self, the intelesexual person, as it is on the inside of the flag) symbolizing the “joining of the minds” or understanding between the two. At the center, there is a bright pink, symbolizing love ♥️
The second one, for spirisexual, is very similar. The deep purple signifies spirituality and magic, and it interlocks with the “self” (the white.) Again, the pink “love” stripe is in the center. 😊♥️
You don’t have to tick all of these off but some of these might be a sign that you’re pomosexual or within the pomosexual umbrella. This was a FAN SUBMISSION
Youve “tried out” multiple different sexual orientation labels in the past , never quite finding “the one”
You know you’re not straight, but that’s as far as a “basis” you’re aware of for your orientation
Your trans/nonbinary and have been uncomfortable with how many orientations are based on some kind of binary type thinking
You feel the current understanding of sexuality within the LGBT community is “too simple”
You feel majority of people are actually not monosexual (sexual attraction to one gender or sex) or polysexual (sexual attraction to 2+ genders/sexes but NOT all); rather, majority of people have the capacity of experiencing sexual attraction at least once (or hell, have some kind of thought along the lines of “that makes me horny”) and this philosophical view influences your views on your own experience with sexuality
Your “online persona” has a vastly different experience with human sexuality than the “real you”, but you feel your online persona is very important to your overall sexual identity. An example is a man who might pose as a mistress online but has no interest in actually cross dressing OR has no sexual interest in men
Since pomosexual isn’t discussed often, this might help some of our followers 😀
Hmm… well we are a bit shorthanded at the moment, so if you’re interested you can ask off anon and we can discuss it. 🙂
Eiri: A “catch all” term for those who identify as a man/masc-aligned (such as: cisgender man, trans man, non-binary masc aligned, androfluid, among the MANY other masculine-based identities). The term can be used as an individual term OR umbrella term. It’s pronounced “ear-ee”
