Lesman, lesbiman, lesmain, or lesmian: lesbian man (wergender or miagender/maingender); someone experiencing a male gender identity while feeling gay for women and/or fiaspec individuals (lesmale/lesbimale/malesbian); miaspec queerbians (homo QLW lesbies).

I decided making my own take as if it was a combo. Flags for lesbian men, male lesbians, and the label lesman already existed. It’s similar to lesboy (boysbian), lesdude (dudesbian/dude lesbian/lesbidude), and lesguy (lesbiguy/guysbian).

gendercensus:

The 2024 Gender Census is now open!

[ Link to survey ]

The 11th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 13th June 2024.

It’s short and easy, about 5 minutes probably.

Title: Gender Census 2024.

Text: If you can't easily put yourself into just one of these two boxes, you are invited to take part.

Two boxes, one green malachite with a Venus symbol on it, one pink rhodochrosite with a Mars symbol on it.ALT

After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.

If you think you might have friends and followers who’d be interested, please do reblog this blog post, and share the survey URL by email or at AFK social groups or on other social networks. Every share is extremely helpful – it’s what helped us get 40,000 responses last year.

Survey URL: https://survey.gendercensus.com

The survey is open to anyone anywhere who speaks English and feels that the gender binary doesn’t fully describe their experience of themselves and their gender(s) or lack thereof.

For the curious, you can also spy on some graphs and demographic data for the incoming responses here.

Thank you so much!

Cisvenient and Binary-Convinient

Cisvenient

When someone is only cis because it’s convenient. This can be a precursor to coming out or, for example, an AFAB fem-aligned NB person who feels fine with never coming out.

The flag is the cisn’t flag combined with the cis flag. The middle stripe of the cis flag was replaced by the cisn’t flag.

Binary-Convinient

when you’re only a binary gender because it’s convenient. This could be because an AFAB fem-aligned NB person feels fine with being seen as binary, because a transmasc person out as binary male doesn’t want to come out all over again, as a stepping stone to coming out as NB, or when someone feels closer to being NB than binary, but doesn’t want to spend the energy to specify where they fall on the NB spectrum.

The flag is the NB flag with inverted colours (I also toned the colours down a bit because my austisric butt couldnt handle the bright ones).

uncannyarcade:

Aporvir: A term for someone whose male and/or male-aligned gender is aligned to qualities or attributes that aren’t masculine, feminine, or gender neutral in nature.

Aporlier: A term for someone whose female and/or female-aligned gender is aligned to qualities or attributes that aren’t masculine, feminine, or gender neutral in nature.

————————————————————

These terms are somewhat based on the already existing term Neuvir, which is similar but is connected to being gender neutral rather than Aporine, an Abinary Allogender quality, and/or any other qualities.

An example of another quality could be one that belongs to someone’s self identity rather than specifically their gender.

The definition for these terms are broad even though they have semi-specific names, so I may add other things to call them later.

Trinteri: a gender amidst the Gender Trinary; a gender that is centered in the middle of the Male-Female-Neutrois trinary.

[PT: Trinteri: a gender admist the Gender Trinary; a gender that is centered in the middle of the Male-Female-Neutrois trinary. ./. End PT]

Etymology

[PT: Etymology ./. End ID]

From Latin, “Tri-”, a prefix meaning “Three” + “Inter” meaning “Between” + “-i”, an English neologistic suffix indicating genderness. Literally “between the three”. Coined by Gent (Gender-Jargon) (link) in March 2024.

Elaboration

[PT: Elaboration ./. End ID]

Trinteri was created as a result of this post (link) by @your-bigender-big-brother (link). The post posed the question, “what gender quality is right in the center of the trinary?”. Most replied, including myself, neutrangity, while others cited epicenity or neutrœmmity, but the more I thought about it, the more I began to feel like these suggested designations were only approximate and didn’t quite get to the root of the question.

As Stormy said emself in eir essay (link) ey wrote, the Gender Trinary contains qualities aside from masculinity, femininity and androgyny. Aside from these three, some others are effeminacy, femmulinity, epicenity, neutrommity, neutremmity, neutrœmmity, gynxemity, androxulinity, gyndroxity, neutrangity, tomboyishness and janegirlishness, to name a couple. This got me thinking, which lead me to coin Trinteri as a centrigender that includes the entire Gender Trinary.

Here is the graphic that Stormy included with eir question, which I edited to add Trinteri in the center for reference:

a graphical representation of the Gender Trinary. It is a down-pointing triangle with the left corner labeled "masculine", the right corner labeled "feminine" and the downward-facing point labeled "neutral". Between masculine and feminine, feminine and neutral and masculine and neutral are double-pointing arrows. In the left corner, there is a point labeled "Man". In the right corner, there is a point labeled "Woman". In the downward-facing point, there is a point labeled "Neutrois". Between "Man" and "Woman" is a point labeled "Androgyne". Between "Neutrois" and "Man" is a point labeled "Neutromme". Between "Neutrois" and "Woman" is a point labeled "Neutremme". In the very center, circled and pointed to by a large arrow is a point labeled "Trinteri", which is located at the very center of the diagram.ALT

I propose the term trinterinity to refer to the quality of gender that is located in the very center of the Gender Trinary. I would be very interested to hear about Stormy’s thoughts on this post to see if ey agree, if I missed the mark or if ey have any other kind of feedback for me.

Trinteri is can be considered a midtrinary aporagender. Trinteri is:

  • a single, specific non-binary identity.
  • located in the very center of the Gender Trinary of Male-Female-Neutrois.
  • a centrigender of all trinary gender qualities.

[PT: a single, specific non-binary identity. located in the very center of the Gender Trinary of Male-Female-Neutrois. a centrigender of all trinary gender qualities. ./. End PT]

Trinteri is quite similar to, but distinct from Neutrangi, Neutrœmme and Epicene:

[PT: Trinteri is quite similar to, but distinct from Neutrangi, Neutroemme and Epicene: ./. End PT]

  • Neutrangi

[PT: Neutrangi ./. End PT]

Neutrangi and Trinteri are both in between Male, Female (rationalized as Androgyne) and Gender-Neutral, but Trinteri is also centered/in between all other trinary genders.

  • Neutrœmme

[PT: Neutroemme ./. End PT]

Neutrœmme and Trinteri are both in between Male, Female (rationalized as Femache) and Gender-Neutral, but is also centered/in between all other trinary genders.

  • Epicene

[PT: Epicene ./. End ID]

Epicene is a gender related to Male-Female indeterminance, having characteristics of both Maleness and Femaleness and/or having no characteristics indicative of Maleness or Femaleness. Epicene is a relatively complicated identity, as it can be considered masculine, feminine, androgynous, neutral and a sort of genderless all-in-one.

Both Trinteri and Epicene encompass experiences of masculinity, femininity, androgyny and neutrality, but Trinteri involves all other trinary identities as well. Trinteri is explicitly a centrigender, where as Epicene is generally considered not to be. Epicene is definitively indeterminate with regards to the Male-Female binary, but Trinteri may or may not be indeterminate in it’s nature.

Mongenerix is a foundational, universal and unified gender that is completely generic-in-nature (GEIN). As such, Mongenerix:

  • is a singular, distinct outherine gender identity (monouingender).
  • is an abinary unigeneriquinity traversing the entirety of the gender spectrum that is not otherwise specified.
  • may be described as general, non-specific, common, collective, communal, plain and/or basic.

Mongenerix shares some commonalities with other genders:

  • Neutrois

Mongenerix and Neutrois (link) are both abinary genders, but are outherine (link) and aporine (link) respectively. Neutrois is impartial and neuter, where as Mongenerix is non-specified and common. Generique (link) and Mongenerix are very similar, but have some key differences. Both genders are GEIN and APORIN (link), but Generique is EPIN (link) as well. Mongenerix is atrinary (link), whereas Generique is defined within the context of the Gender Trinary.

Another way this can be described is where someone feels as if they are mostly neutral, but still have or feel undefined aspects about themselves and choose to keep them.

Chemme: a combined Butch-Femme identity.

[PT: Chemme: a combined Butch-Femme identity. /.End PT]

When referring to gender, Chemmegender may be used.

Etymology

From English, “Ch” from “Butch” + “-emme” from “Femme”. Coined by Gent of Gender-Jargon, 2024.

Elaboration

Chemme describes any individual who is both Butch and Femme. Chemme is similar to Butchfemme, but specifies Chemme as being distinct from Futch. In this context, Futch is conceptualized as a being between Butch and Femme. Whereas Chemme is a term to describe a coupled Butch-Femme experience. This experience can be (in)distinct, simultaneous, fluid, fluctuating, (un)equal, partial, etc.

Like Butch, Femme, Futch, etc., Chemme can be a queer subcultural identity or a gender identity specifically. When specifying a Chemme gender identity, Chemmegender can be used. Chemmegender describes an individual with a Butchgender-Femmegender bigender.

Flag

The Chemme flag was created using two common Butch and Femme flags, created by tumblr user Butchspace and tumblr user Noodle, respectively with slight color adjustment. The topmost three stripes are taken from the aforementioned Butch flag. The middle stripe is white, like it is in both the Butch and Femme flags. The bottom three stripes are taken from the Femme flag. From top to bottom, the Chemme flag is burnt orange, orange, coral, white, lilac, light purple and dark purple. The stripes have the following meanings:

  • The burnt orange, orange and coral stripes represent Butch identity.
  • The white stripe represents Multigender experience.
  • The lilac, light purple and dark purple stripes represent Femme identity.

(Since the flag already has lavender, I tried both purple and magenta to represent androgyny! I think the magenta looks better, but as I don’t id as andro in any way, it’s not really my call as to which represents them best.)

GENDER COINING: Femqueer and Mascqueer

Femqueer: A feminine gender defined by inherent queerness. A femqueer’s gender is influenced by internal sense of gender, external gender presentation, and queer experience all rolled into one. They may or may not describe their gender as “woman,” as the label may feel too broad, or not exactly synonymous to their experience.

Mascqueer: A masculine gender defined by inherent queerness. A mascqueer’s gender is influenced by internal sense of gender, external gender presentation, and queer experience all rolled into one. They may or may not describe their gender as “man,” as the label may feel too broad, or not exactly synonymous to their experience.

USAGE: Femqueer and mascqueer are nouns, not adjectives. You would say “A mascqueer,” not, “A mascqueer person.”

FLAG MEANINGS:

Purple – representative of queerness

White – Expansive gender and gender expression

Pink – femininity / Blue – Masculinity

The stripes above are all vertical and of equal size, symbolizing the equal importance of all parts of the gender.

Yellow – nonbinary gender

The yellow stripe stretches across the other three colors, symbolizing the nonbinary nature of all the facets of a fem/mascqueer’s gender.

the-neothtr:

Maxqueer

An identity focused on being as queer as possible!

This identity isn’t exactly a gender, sexuality, neolabel, belief, et cetera – this label is about all of those things, combined, being as queer as you possibly can, and using every queer label you possibly can within your ability to use these labels (i.e. queer, genderqueer, mascqueer/femqueer, autiqueer, neuroqueer, soulqueer, realityqueer, et cetera, there’s a ton of these labels).

BTW would anyone be interested in a collaborative list of these sort of identities pertaining to being queer? I have a lot in my own personal collection and am always searching for more!

  • Flag colors from this queer flag rather than the queer chevron! I felt the colors and the meanings behind said colors fit better for the way this identity label encases so many things!

:

Nonor: An equivalent and/or alternative term for the word “queer,” which is equally inclusive and encompassing. Comes from the phrase “non-normative.”

While the term nonor may be used by people who are just uncomfortable with the term queer for themselves, it can also be used by anyone who simply enjoys the term. Someone could identify with both queer and nonor, if they’d like.

If one wants, the term nonor can be used in terms where queer is used. However, it’s very important to make clear that you should not use this label to erase one’s queer identity/label. For some, queer is a very important word, and replacing it with nonor without their consent isn’t okay.

Nonor people are, of course, welcome to use any kind of queer flag instead of the nonor flag (or make their own nonor flag), if they’re comfortable with it. Furthermore, users are welcome to spell out the full phrase if they want to (“non-normative.”)

Queerfeminine Pride Flag

Queerfeminine or queerfemininity/queerfeminity: a term for queer fem individuals or queer femininity; an umbrella term for non-square feminities, non-straight femininity, non-dyadic femininity, non-binary femininity, and non-cis femininity (among other femininities that are “deviant” or “transviant”).

Queerfem is synonymous to voidfem. Examples of queerfemininities: transfemininity, cisn’tfem, homofem (gay fem/lesbifem), bifem, panfeminine, interfem(inine), gender nonconforming feminity. Some may consider their femme identity as a queer feminity/femqueer.

Queermasculine Pride Flag

Queermasculinity or queermasculinity: a term for queer masc individuals or queer masculinity; an umbrella term for non-square masculinity, non-straight masculinity, non-dyadic masculinity, non-binary masculinity, and non-cis masculinity (among other masculinities that are “deviant” or “transviant”).

It should be noted that “queermasc” is a synonym of voidmasc. Examples of queermasculinities: transmasculinity, cisn’tmasc, homomasc (gay masc), bimasculine, panmasculine, intermasc(uline), nonconforming masculinity (GNC).

Mujombre Pride Flag

Sotrigender Pride Flag

Sotrigender or tritrisogender/trisotrigender: trimodal trigender in which someone is iso, trans, and cis; being trisogender as a result of being trigender; or being trigender as a result of being trisomodal.

Pomospec Pride Flag

Pomo spectrum consists of identities that are indeterminate in some way, usually because the person either doesn’t know where they fit in or rejects preexisting terms that specify their identity. Terms like quoi or novi are examples, because they have rejection/indeterminacy in the definitions themselves.

In terms of pomogender spectrum, it would be similar to undefined/unknown and uiaspec. However, pomospec includes attractional, affectional, and orientation identities too, among other things (e.g. presentation, sex, relationship, partnering, amory, etc.).

Proposing/requesting some new intersex terminology

In my talking and thinking about intersex and intersex studies, I’ve found a desire to put names some of the concepts and groups of people that are out there. Here’s what I’ve come up with, and would like feedback. 💛

Alternate language for medical/identity models

  • Intermedicalist: referring to a person or ideas which support the pathologization of intersex. Alternate language for what Costello (2016) refers to as the medical/disorder model of intersex. Intended as a parallel with transmedicalist.
  • Interliberationist: an intersex person who supports intersex liberation, in contrast to intermedicalism. Alternate language for what Costello (2016) refers to the identity framework of intersex; the view of intersex as a social identity, and intersex people in need of liberation from pathologization and presumptions about sex/gender norms.

Language for how intersex people relate to gender

  • Extergender. An intersex person who is not intergender, i.e. their gender does not feel affected by being intersex.

Language for how intersex people do or do not relate to queerness

  • Interqueer: an intersex person who sees their intersexness as being queer 🌈
  • Ipsoqueer: an intersex person whose queerness comes solely from being intersex; they are heterosexual, cis/ipsogender, etc. A subtype of interqueer.
  • Ulterqueer: an intersex person who understands their intersexness as queer and is also queer in other ways (sexual orientation, gender identity, etc). A subtype of interqueer.
  • Interseparate: an intersex person who rejects the idea that being intersex makes them queer. Opposite of interqueer.
  • Interconforming an intersex person who disidentifies with queerness on all axes (they are hetero, cis/ipsogender, etc). A subtype of interseparate.
  • Internormative: an intersex person who rejects that being intersex makes them queer, but they are queer in other ways. A subtype of interseparate. Chosen as parallel to homonormativity and transnormativity.

In terms of feedback: these are all concepts I want names for, but other than intermedicalist & interliberationist I feel pretty tentative/uncertain about what I’ve come up with. If you have ideas for improvements please let me know! 🤗

I’m a little worried that ipsoqueer and ulterqueer would lead to confusion with ipsogender and ultergender but also couldn’t think of anything better!

Interneutral flag

Seven horizontal bars: dark yellow, yellow, white, bright green, white, purple, dark purpleALT

I just realized there isn’t a flag for interneutral (aka interneu) gender expression, so have created this one following the scheme created by @momma-mogai-sphinx for the other intersex-specific gender expressions and using green since it is the colour for gender-neutral.

Interneutral is a gender expression that is the combination of gender neutrality and being inter-expressive (i.e. a gender expression that is indicative & reflective of being intersex/intergender.)

Biphilia attraction to two or more genders.

The suffix “philia” Greek word means “love, affection”. Philic attraction would mean love (towards two or more genders).

Bi individuals may prefer this term, some because they are variorented, such as gyneromantic androsexuals or androromantic gynesexuals, etc. Biphiliac encompasses all bi-prefixed orientations.

The first flag was based on the gynephilic and androphilic flags, can be used for ambiphilic flag too. The sencond one on the bisexual flag, I would like to make the size of the purple color the same as the others, but it would look like some androgyne flags.

See also: ambiphiliac.

hey, i hope it was okay that i added a background circle with a shade of purple exactly in-between the two you used! i just felt it looked a little too simple, so for fun i wanted another slight detail:

i also made versions with the classic double moons symbol as well!

So I thought I should do something for new years. Originally I just planned on drawing the 2024 balloons in the middle, but then I thought I should add a single lgballt, and then a flag, which eventually kind of turned into a whole drawing haha.

The main flag in the background is the 8 striped diversity rainbow flag, and I included other lgballts with some common pride flags.

OSA Pride Flag

OSA: other-sex attraction (or opposite-sex attraction); the counterpart of SSA (same-sex attraction/similar-sex attraction).

SSA Pride Flag

SSA: same-sex attraction/similar-sex attraction.

SGA Pride Flag

SGA: same-gender (or similar-gender/s) attraction.

OGA Pride Flag

OGA: other-gender(s) [or opposite-gender(s)] attraction; the counterpart of SGA (same-gender attraction).

These definitions are neutral in nature and are older than the discourse surrounding them (gatekeepers still use then, so use with care).

Though “opposite” may imply a gender/sex binary, it’s not always the case since many use it as the attraction to their antigender(s)/sex(es) [e.g.: enanteic]. These terms includes those who are exclusively attracted to such gender(s)/sex(es), and those who are attracted to multiple sexes/genders. Sometimes, being attracted to multigender or agender people can make the attraction blur into neither or both (mestric/diamoric is useful for that).

It should be said that “sex” isn’t necessarily indicating biological sex. As sex is a biopsychosocial construct and may include social/brain sex (according to one’s intrapersonal identity narrative). For example, a Wolffian dating a Müllerian Wolfadic can still consider their attraction SSA if they consider the altered/modified sex or psychosocially sexed traits in this attraction. However, another person can consider their attraction as both SGA and OSA, as they see sex and gender as distinct concepts interpersonally [unleashed from the binomial/biaxial].

Image transcripts input is appreciated. These flags can include intersex and altersex people as long as they consent individually.

Gender shuffler, also known as gender shuffling, is the act of mixing and matching two or more genders. One can also change the number of genders at one time.

Welcome to the Liminal Lands

This is a blog run by @cybertroniancoining intended to archive any coined terms that relate to Liminality, Liminal Spaces, Weirdcore, Dreamcore, and anything else that may overlap with these topics. Most commonly you will see me archiving genders, but we’ll also archive many other terms as well.

WE WILL ARCHIVE: genders, orientations, alterhuman terms, aldernic terms, Pronouns, Allions, Vesils, Idens, etc. This is not an exhaustive list.

WE WILL NOT ARCHIVE: TransID terms, para related terms.

If you aren’t sure if it fits- please tag us anyways! We’re happy to vet them ourselves.

As this blog is an archival blog, there is no DNI for this blog. Original coiners may have DNIs, so check there first, but this blog itself has no DNI.

The blog mascot is our own OC, so please do not use them for your own purposes.

Thank you very much, and I look forward to archiving for you all! Tag system will be added once we have some posts under our belt.

It should be noted that these terms can be used regardless of gender modality, pronouns, or hormonal rates. Plus they may or may not alter their sex traits, depending on their empirical subjectivity.

Transgengen Pride Flag

5 stripes unequally sized and colored with small blue, big pink, white, small pink, and big blueALT

Transgengen (transgendergender), transgengender (transgendergen), or transgendre: experiencing or using transness as a gender; when transgender is one’s gender.

Trans is usually not one’s gender identity, instead it’s typically classified as a gender modality or a descriptor (modifier/specifier/identifier) of one’s experience between AGAB and current/actual gender (or their desired gender, for those who feel they didn’t achieve their gender yet).

The term may be useful for transemphatic individuals. The “counterpart” could be transmodal (but that’s ample too).

Agengen Pride Flag

7 stripes of small black, big grey, small white, big soft green, small white, big gray, and small blackALT

Agengen or agendergender (agengender or agendergen): someone who consider their agender identity to be a gender.

Many agender folks consider their identity as not a gender (specially genderless individuals), therefore other agender people can see their agenderness as another gender as well, along with other gender identities. Sometimes it’s a null gender, but doesn’t have to be. It’s similar to gendergender it’s agin (agingender).

Miderix: Describing a Non-Miderian individual that finds a midbinarine gender attribution befitting and considers it an essential facet of their gender identity.

A sibling term of Mascix, Femix, Gynandrix, Neuix & Aphorix.

Etymology

Miderix was created to mirror the paradigm used for Mascix. Femix, Gynandrix and Aphorian.

From English, “Mider” from “Miderian” + “-ix”, an neologistic suffix used by other terms in this genus, originally based upon Apathmascix and Apathfemix coined by user Cybertroniancoining. Miderix was coined by Gent of Gender-Jargon, 2023.

Elaboration

Miderix is a complex and potentially contradictory identity in which one’s gender is not miderian, but has midbinarine traits attributed to them nonetheless, and this attribution is not only considered to be fitting by the individual, but an integral part of their overall gender experience.

More simply, a Miderix individual:

  1. Has a gender identity that they consider to be Non-Miderian.
  2. Has traits of midbinarinity attributed to them by other individuals.
  3. Considers having traits of midbinarinity attributed to their person to be agreeable and in a few, multiple or all manners at least part of the time.
  4. Considers this attribution to be an intrinsic part of their experience of their gender as a whole.

A Miderix individual is not apathetic to a midbinarine gender attribution, but instead enjoys, appreciate, entertains, welcomes or otherwise freely accepts midbinarine traits being attributed to their person. Furthermore, this attribution is a fundamental aspect of their gender experience.

Flag

The Miderix flag was created to match the Mascix, Femix, Gynandrix, Neuix and Aphorix flags. The flag consists of three vertical bars and a central, horizontal bar, forming a tri-color flag with a median line. At the left is the darkest shade of pink-orange, becoming lighter as it moves right. The median stripes is a light blue-green in color. The colors have the following meanings:

  • The Dark orange, coral and peach stripes represents midbinarine gender attribution.
  • The light seafoam stripe represents not being Miderian.

The Miderix flag was created by Gent of Gender-Jargon in 2023.

Note: Gender attribution is not necessarily based upon one’s expression, but is more frequently an assumption made about an individual’s gender identity without their input. Being an assumption, it is not always correct, good, wanted or warranted. Affirming attributions are congruent with one’s perception of themselves. Incorrect and undesired attributions are incongruent with this perception and are often distressing. Miderix should not be used to describe anyone who does not like midbinarinity being attributed to them, as it would be misdenoting on multiple levels

multi use as an indigenous pride flag, or as a ur fav is indigenous flag

NOTE – please do not use this for personal use if you are not indigenous ie. for your profile pic or something of that sort. this was made by an indigenous person for the indigenous community as we’re really lacking in any sort of public positivity or pride in our heritage.

Neuix: Describing a Non-Neutrois individual that finds a neutral gender attribution befitting and considers it an essential facet of their gender identity.

A sibling term of Mascix, Femix & Gynandrix.

Etymology

Neuix was created to mirror the paradigm used for Mascix. Femix and Gynandrix.

From English, “Neu” from “Neutral” + “-ix”, an neologistic suffix used by other terms in this genus, originally based upon Apathmascix and Apathfemix coined by user Cybertroniancoining. Neuix was coined by Gent of Gender-Jargon, 2023.

Elaboration

Neuix is a complex and potentially contradictory identity in which one’s gender is not Neutrois, but has neutral traits attributed to them nonetheless, and this attribution is not only considered to be fitting by the individual, but an integral part of their overall gender experience.

More simply, a Neuix individual:

  1. Has a gender identity that they consider to be Non-Neutrois.
  2. Has traits of neutrality attributed to them by other individuals.
  3. Considers having traits of neutrality attributed to their person to be agreeable and in a few, multiple or all manners at least part of the time.
  4. Considers this attribution to be an intrinsic part of their experience of their gender as a whole.

A Neuix individual is not apathetic to neutral gender attribution, but instead enjoys, appreciate, entertains, welcomes or otherwise freely accepts neutral traits being attributed to their person. Furthermore, this attribution is a fundamental aspect of their gender experience.

Flag

The Neuix flag was created to match the Mascix, Femix and Gynandrix flags. The flag consists of three vertical bars and a central, horizontal bar, forming a tri-color flag with a median line. At the left is the darkest green, becoming lighter as it moves right. The median stripes is beige in color. The colors have the following meanings:

  • The forest green, green and light green stripes represents neutral gender attribution.
  • The beige stripe represents not being Neutrois.

The Neuix flag was created by Gent of Gender-Jargon in 2023.

Note: Gender attribution is not necessarily based upon one’s expression, but is more frequently an assumption made about an individual’s gender identity without their input. Being an assumption, it is not always correct, good, wanted or warranted. Affirming attributions are congruent with one’s perception of themselves. Neuix should not be used to describe anyone who does not like neutrality being attributed to them, as it would be misdenoting on multiple levels

Femix: Describing a Non-Female individual that finds a feminine gender attribution befitting and considers it an essential facet of their gender identity.

Based upon the term Apathfemix.

Etymology

Femix is derived from Apathfemix, created by removing the prefix Apath-, indicating apathy. The root, Femix, has a unknown etymological origin. Apathfemix was coined by user Cybertroniancoining in December 2023. The term Femix, coined by Gent of Gender-Jargon a few days after, is directly based upon user Cybertroniancoining’s term as a related concept.

Elaboration

Femix is a complex and potentially contradictory identity in which one’s gender is not “Female”, but has feminine traits attributed to them nonetheless, and this attribution is not only considered to be fitting by the individual, but an integral part of their overall gender experience.

More simply, an Femix individual:

  1. Has a gender identity that they consider to be Non-Female.
  2. Has traits of femininity attributed to them by other individuals.
  3. Considers having traits of femininity attributed to their person to be agreeable and in a few, multiple or all manners at least part of the time.
  4. Considers this attribution to be an intrinsic part of their experience of their gender as a whole.

Femix differs from Apathfemix in that a Femix individual is definitively not apathetic towards feminine traits being attributed to them, nor are they inherently beyond gender as a concept. In place of indifference, a Femix individual enjoys, appreciates, entertains, welcomes or otherwise freely accepts feminine traits being attributed to their person. Furthermore, this attribution is a fundamental aspect of their gender experience.

Flag

The Femix flag is based upon the Apathfemix flag created by the coiner of the term. The Apathfemix flag utilizes the color palette from the Inersgender flag created by user Stellette in 2014 alongside a tri-color pink scheme. The Femix flag is color-picked from the tri-color b pink scheme, shown across three vertical bars, with the darkest pink at the left progressing to the lightest pink to the right. In the middle, a horizontal, light olive green stripe was added to represent the quality of being a Femix being a Non-Female. The Femix flag was created by Gent of Gender-Jargon in 2023.

Femix should not be used to describe anyone who does not like femininity being attributed to them, as it would be misdenoting on multiple levels.

Gynandrix: Describing a Non-Androgyne individual that finds an androgynous gender attribution befitting and considers it an essential facet of their gender identity.

A sibling term of Mascix and Femix.

Etymology

Gynandrix was created to mirror the paradigm used for Mascix and Femix.

From English, “Gynandr” from “Gynandrous” + “-ix”, an neologistic suffix used by other terms in this genus, originally based upon Apathmascix and Apathfemix coined by user Cybertroniancoining. Gynandrix was coined by Gent of Gender-Jargon, 2023.

Elaboration

Gynandrix is a complex and potentially contradictory identity in which one’s gender is not Androgyne, but has androgynous traits attributed to them nonetheless, and this attribution is not only considered to be fitting by the individual, but an integral part of their overall gender experience.

More simply, a Gynandrix individual:

  1. Has a gender identity that they consider to be Non-Androgyne.
  2. Has traits of androgyny attributed to them by other individuals.
  3. Considers having traits of androgyny attributed to their person to be agreeable and in a few, multiple or all manners at least part of the time.

  • The plum, purple and lilac stripes represents androgynous gender attribution.
  • The cream stripe represents not being Androgyne.

The Gynandrix flag was created by Gent of Gender-Jargon in 2023.

Aphorix: Describing a Non-Aphorian individual that finds an abinarine gender attribution befitting and considers it an essential facet of their gender identity.

A sibling term of Mascix, Femix, Gynandrix & Neuix.

Etymology

Aphorix was created to mirror the paradigm used for Mascix. Femix, Gynandrix and Neuix.

From English, “Aphor” from “Aphorian” + “-ix”, an neologistic suffix used by other terms in this genus, originally based upon Apathmascix and Apathfemix coined by user Cybertroniancoining. Aphorix was coined by Gent of Gender-Jargon, 2023.

Elaboration

Aphorix is a complex and potentially contradictory identity in which one’s gender is not aphorian, but has abinarine traits attributed to them nonetheless, and this attribution is not only considered to be fitting by the individual, but an integral part of their overall gender experience.

More simply, an Aphorix individual:

  1. Has a gender identity that they consider to be Non-Aphorian.
  2. Has traits of abinarinity attributed to them by other individuals.
  3. Considers having traits of abinarinity attributed to their person to be agreeable and in a few, multiple or all manners at least part of the time.
  4. Considers this attribution to be an intrinsic part of their experience of their gender as a whole.

An Aphorix individual is not apathetic to an abinarine gender attribution, but instead enjoys, appreciate, entertains, welcomes or otherwise freely accepts abinarine traits being attributed to their person. Furthermore, this attribution is a fundamental aspect of their gender experience.

Flag

The Aphorix flag was created to match the Mascix, Femix, Gynandrix and Neuix flags. Compiling some terms/posts useful for people questioning if intersex

Note: If a definition in is in quotes, the source material it is quoted from is linked to by the relevant term.

Highly relevant terms

Extersex – “[A] term for those who do not know whether they are dyadic or intersex. It could be because one feels as though they might be some form of intersex, but are unable to medically confirm it, or cannot confirm what intersex variation it is. It may also be for those who have a variation that may be considered intersex, but are uncertain if they want to identify as intersex.” – @themogaidragon

Quoisex – “[An] umbrella term for anyone who doesn’t quite understand their sex or doesn’t want to define their sex.” – LGBTQIA+ Wiki
Note: I understand this as more general than extersex, and would include people questioning if altersex. See the wiki entry for subtypes (quoigonadal, quoichest, etc)

Altersex – “An umbrella term to describe having or wanting primary or secondary sex traits/characteristics that do not align with the binary sex model that a significant portion of society has adopted. It is primarily used by those who are not intersex and are trans+ and wish to or transition specifically to have a body that does not fit the aforementioned sex model.” –@intersex-questions
Note: Being altersex does not make somebody intersex. I include it because many people questioning their intersex status realize this is what they’re looking for.

Anisohormonal – “Aniso (unequal/uneven) + hormonal (relating to hormones). An individual who has an imbalance of hormones for any number of reasons. Such individuals may or may not also be intersex.” – @sproutflags
Note: includes non-intersex variations such as diabetes.

Subtypes of intersex people

Note: In my experience most people questioning if they’re intersex have a hormonal intersex variation like PCOS, so I’m skewing towards this accordingly.

Dysgonadal – “[having] dysfunctional gonads. This includes agonadal (no gonads) and hypogonadal. Also known as gonadal agenesis/dysgenesis, dyssex and nullogonadal/asexed (null sex or avaginal/aphallia).” – @arco-pluris
Note: contrasted with eugonadal – “people with functional gonads (reproductive cells). Includes hypergonadal (hyperfunctional gonads)”

Interhormonal – “Someone who is intersex and anisohormonal and/or feels that being intersex has impacted their identity as anisohormonal in some way and/or that their identity as anisohormonal has impacted their identity as intersex in some way.” – @sproutflags

Intermeer – “a term used to describe all intersex variations that are caused by an overproduction of horomones (testosterone, estrogen, or both.)” – LGBTQIA+ Wiki
Variations include: AES, FMPP, PCOS. Part of The Autre System for categorizing intersex variations.

Intermindre – “a term used to describe all intersex variations that are caused by a lack of horomones (testosterone, estrogen, or both.)”
Note: The wiki lists AIS and EIS as examples although they are not due to a lack of hormones, but rather a lack of sensitivity to them. Part of The Autre System for categorizing intersex variations. See the wiki for more subtypes. Thank you to anon asker who pointed out the AIS/EIS issue.

Mesosex – “[A] person who has an intersex variation, but one which does not conform to perisex (non-intersex) ideas of what intersex is. For example, people who have intersex traits that are considered "mild”, or who have variations such as PCOS Hyperandrogenism and Poland Syndrome.“ – @ipso-faculty

Interdynamic – "a term for individuals whose secondary sexs [sp] characteristics do not match with the typical secondary sex binary.” – @omegai

7 stripes of darker grey, grey, light pastel purple, white, soft pink, blue, and cyanALT

Cupiofray: being cupio- in a fray- way (or being fray- in a cupio- way), or experiencing a mix of the two, or being in the midway between both fray and cupio.

For example, desiring certain forms of relationship while not feeling attraction, then they feel attraction but loose it after an emotional or deep connection with a person; desiring a specific form of relationship even when they are not attracted anymore in the attraction associated with the type of relationship.

It includes mesi/grey areas, depending on the perspectives it could be allospec, aspec, pomospec, quoispec, etc. or simply cupiospec.

Asensual Aromantic Pride Flag

5 stripes of black, green, white, orange, and greyALT

Aromantic or aro: feeling little to no romantic attraction.

Asensual: experiencing little to no sensual attraction.

Asensual Asexual Pride Flag

5 stripes of black, grey, white, orange, and purpleALT

Asexual: experiencing little to no sexual attraction;

Asensual: feeling little to no sensual attraction.

Asensual AroAce Pride Flag

6 stripes of black, grey, white, green, purple, and orangeALT

Aroace or aroacespec: aromantic asexual; being on both aro and ace spectrums.

Asensual: feeling little to none sensual attraction.

Male-Female Multigender Pride Flag

5 stripes of soft yellowish orange, pink, violet, blue, and soft realALT

This flag is for anyone experiencing multiple genders and are male-female (they may experience a singular male-female gender, or experiencing both female and male genders separately). They may or may not label this experience with specific identity (e.g. femache, ambinary, liaspec, bigender, androgyne) or emphasize multigenderness or polygenderness over specific identities, or not caring that much about these distinctions (eg. questioning, undefined, unlabeled). It includes any way that fits the description for whatever reason.

They also don’t need necessarily to identify as nonbinary or trans. Male and/or female can be replaced by other heteronyms (e.g. boywoman, girlguy, mangal, girlboy, malewoman, etc.) as long as the person consider this experience to be multigender.

It may be seen as redundant, but many times mixed genders or intermediary genders can be monogender.

Amative/Affinitive Pride Flags

Amative Orientation Pride Flag

5 stripes: green, white, softened black, light grey, and sandpaper indigoALT

Amative orientations: any orientation that dooes not describe the gender(s) one is or is not attracted to, but instead describe how one experiences attraction. Eg. conditional/circumstantial/situational asexuality (demisexuality, fraysexuality…), partial aromanticism (mesi/grey aromantic…), null platonicity (suptilic aplatonicism…), refero-, chameleo-, etc.

Affinitive Orientation Pride Flag

5 stripes: red, light grey, soft black, white, and sandpaper purpleALT

Affinitive or affectional orientations: any orientations that describe which gender(s) one is or is not attracted to. Eg. multi-, mono-, juvelic terms.

Not every orientation is inherently this or the other, but they are useful umbrella terms. Sometimes they are intertwined, other times some may emphasize one over another, questioning and undefined people may don’t know which one they have, amplusic (fluid/flux/flex) people may navigate through both and other possibilities.

HsTs Pride Flag

5 stripes of hot pink, light orange, grey, light violet, and dark blueALT

HsTs (homosexual transsexual): a Blanchardian, outdated term designating transgender straights, reclaimed by some transhets.

justjasper:

Creation of the Pan Flag

Copied (with grammar/spelling mistakes) from my twitter thread about it for posterity.

I was going to do this for Pride weekend but you know, life, so: I wanted to talk about a thing. I created the #pansexual flag, a thread.

Back in 2010, I was 20 and tumblr was my main social playground. I was active in various spheres, and I was learning.

I’d been IDing as bi since I was 13, but moved away from bi as an identifier and took up pansexual soon after discovering the term, bc I felt it fit better.

This is mainly bc the simplicity of pan being defined as attraction to any/all genders was extremely appealing to someone really coming into this new way of expressing their orientation like tumblr allowed. It felt right for how I wanted to relate to and express my orientation.

The bi communities I had access too often saw heavy discussion related to attraction parametres of “bi” – convos at the time I didn’t really recognise for what they were: bi people working hard to define bisexuality on their terms, tackling intra-community transphobia, (cont)

(cont) and developing within a social space where more expansive gender experiences and identities were becomes more well known and understood.

My switch of labels was about finding something that felt truly right for me, but it would be dishonest to pretend the decision wasn’t impacted by the politics and “discourse” I was involved in at the time.

There was no popular pan flag, and the offerings were frankly… ugly. To me. Various shades of purple, P letters, P symbols incorporating gender symbols, infinity symbols. They didn’t feel consistent with the other pride flags.

So on a whim, I decided to design one. I designed it to be pretty, honestly. That was a primary function of it, to have s/t I liked to represent my identity. No point pretending I was trying to be super innovative and deep: I wanted something pretty to plaster on my blog.

Pink, yellow, blue. A strong magenta, a strong gold yellow, and a light cerulean. The pink not too purple, the yellow not too bright, the blue not too cyan. Hex FF1B8D, FFD900, 1BB2FF.

Pink and blue, because of their gendered traditions, and yellow, a generally non-gendered colour, to represent nonbinary folks etc.

I created it anonymously, on a side blog away from my main handle. I was already running LGBTLaughs which was proving very popular in tumblr and didn’t want to monopolise queer blog space, I suppose.

I didn’t expect it to take off. It proved popular on tumblr, and for a few years the flag kept getting added to the Wikipedia ‘pansexual’ page and then removed. Eventually it snowballed and ended up in use well beyond tumblr.

As I’ve got older I’ve realised a lot of people would be interested in knowing this part of modern queer history, and more about modern flag creation in general, and that it’s worth documenting. Not for credit so much as for posterity.

So, that’s that. The first time I saw a pansexual flag in real life at my city’s Pride parade I may have had a little cry.

Twitter Drama

Best viewed on the original twitter thread, for the full documentation (I may update this with fuller documentation down the line) but here’s a rundown of drama surrounding the flag.

First, to set the stage:

  • posted about designing the pan flag
  • said i was cool with bi/pan lesbians
  • said i was cool with kink at pride

Thus followed, in varying intensity 2020-2022:

  • misgendering
  • suicide bait
  • general harassment/pile-on
  • “called out” on r/pansexuals
  • blasted on sapphics for satan (fb)
  • now sworn enemy of of lesbian kpop avi twitter
  • claims the original pan flag was transphobic in meaning
  • multiple “new” pan flags designed to displace the one i designed
  • claims i stole the flag from a medieval indian kingdom, and subsequent vandalisation of wikipedia for the actual state of kerala
  • vandalisation of the wiki page for the pan flag, resulting in it having to be locked

Condi- Pride Flag

5 stripes: dark pink, light yellow, white, light pear, and pale purpleALT

Condi- experiencing situational orientation (such as sexuality/romanticity, platonicity/sensuality, aestheticity/physicality, or alterousness/emotionality).

To be used as condisexual, condiromantic, condisensual, condiplatonic, etc. Similar to abro-, but based on condigender prefix.

Some Sexadic Orientations

Mullamoric Pride Flag

Mullamoric: general attraction to mulladic people; or being primarily or exclusively to female sexed people (or anyone who consider their sex as female).

Wolfamoric Pride Flag

Wolfamoric: general attraction to wolfadic people; or being primarily or exclusively to male sexed people (or anyone who consider their sex as male).

Disclaimer: The terms “(fe)male sexed” and mulladic/wolfadic are acknowledging psychosocial aspects of sex, so this includes anyone who consider their sex traits as (fe)male, regardless of their assigned natal sex. As sex is not a linear or singular spectrum, these sex traits can stand beyond “primary sex characteristics” or chromosomal karyotype exam results, or even how they are seen scientifically classified as. Because trans (wo)men (specially transsex mulladic and transsex wolfadic people) can alter their sex traits phenotypically and hormonally, surgically genitally or potentially gonadally. Also the term has no ties with medicalism, so no need to alter one’s corporeity/corporeality. They also include intersex people. Plurals included. Cissex transgender people are welcomed too.

This can be used regardless of gender or pronouns, or intersecting specific orientations.

Parcubelian Pride Flag

Parcubelian: a term for (suptilic) homo-everything or noboric cenelians or homoattractional/homooriented genderqueer individuals; someone who don’t want relationship (of any kind) or proximity with (apto)binary while still attracted, at least, to binaryn’t/genderqueer folks (not necessarily nonbinary or abinary individuals).

Identity Situationist Pride Flag

Identity situationism (sexuality, gender, orientation, alignment, presentation, etc.): having different behavior regarding one’s identity depending on the situation, sometimes leading to changing self-identification in a situational way.

This idea comes from queercore and homocore movements.

lavenderfoxboy-deactivated20240:

coining some new terms because i haven’t seen any for this yet and i’ve been looking

(all of these are highly inspired by the terms and flags for being sex/romance repulsed, sex/romance favorable, and sex/romance indifferent, commonly used by aspec people. i thought i could borrow a lil bit from one of my communities to make terms for my other one <3)

fem repulsed: repulsed by being called feminine terms and/or pronouns, whether or not your gender is feminine.

masc repulsed: repulsed by being called masculine terms and/or pronouns, whether or not your gender is masculine.

neutral repulsed: repulsed by being called neutral terms and/or pronouns, whether or not your gender is neutral.

and that last bit? about the fact that these terms can apply to anyone no matter their gender? its bolded for a reason. anyone can use these. transmascs, transfems, transneutrals, people with xenogenders, people with no gender, cis people, everyone can use them.

i personally am making these because the first one applies to me. Even though I am genderfluid and am very frequently a girl, being referred to as such can and does still make me dysphoric.

the only people who cant use these terms, of course, are TERFs and other bigots, who should instead go eat pavement ❤

(also, if theres already terms for this and im making a fool of myself because i didnt look hard enough, feel free to lmk)

Panapagender Pride Flag

7 stripes of soft orange, brown, pastel yellow, white, pastel blue, light pink, and dark greyALT

Gender panthetic, apapangender, or panapagender: being identitarianly indifferent towards all genders accessible with ones identity lane and natural condition; the combination of gender apathetic (apagender) and pangender; experiencing all apagenders possible.

Binary Veldian Pride Flag

5 stripes of lavender pink, white, teal, blue, and heavy purpleALT

Veldian/turian: gay attraction to men; homo mlm/nblm (gaylm); being queer for men (QLM); nonwoman loving nonwomen (NWLNW, floric/cinthean).

Binary or xorgender: experiencing, at least, one gender from the gender binary; man and/or woman; fem and/or masc. Inclusive of ambinary, binaryfluid, and aptobinary. Sometimes, some midbinary feel included in these definitions, as it’s self-interpretative or self-descriptive.

Possible terms: bindian; velbinary. These are also inclusive of binary people of either gender.

Parcubomo/Incuthenomo Pride Flags

Incubogay Pride Flag

Incubogay: a new term for suptilic homo-everything (periangled) individuals; someone who don’t want relationship (of any kind) or proximity with women while still attracted to, at least, men and/or masculine individuals (not necessarily aptoma folks).

Parthenolesbian Pride Flag

Parthenolesbian: a new term for suptilic homo-everything (periangled) people; someone who don’t want relationship (of any kind) or proximity with men while still attracted, at least, to women and/or feminine folks (not necessarily aptofe individuals).

Coined with help of @mogai-ringo. Help with image transcripts appreciated.

Midcetarian Pride Flag

Midcetarian (midbintceterian/midbinceterian), midcegender, or midbinodiean: being both midbinary and anonbinary; considering both midbinary and ectetarian/anodiean/etcegender as complementing each other in ones genderness(es).

Etçaby Pride Flag

Etçab/etçaby, anbaby/anbab, abanby/abyanby, abanb/abyanb, or abynodiean/abinodiean: being both abinary/aphorian and anonbinary/anodiean/etcetarian; or considering both abingender and etcegender complementing each other within ones genderness(es).

Sociopolitical/Biopolitical Genders

Flags in order: sociopolitical nonbinary (sociopolinb), sociopolitical cenilunar (sociopolife), sociopolitical cenitidal (sociopolima); (second three) biopolitical non-binary (biopolinb), biopolitical cenilunar (biopolife), biopolitical cenitidal (biopolima).

Context: sociopolitical is self-identitarianly, biopolitical is heteronomous. These are meant for those who reclaim politically (or conceptually/philosophically) manhood/masculinity, femininity/womahood, or non-binariness.

Image descriptions pending (feel free to add and I will add back in the original post crediting you). – Ap

I diagram that I really hope people will see and learn something from. As a vincian guy, I’m so tired of people using mlm & gaylm terms interchangeably. They have very different meanings & it excludes a large majority of mlm folks when people use them as if they’re the same.

(For simplicity, I did not mention enben or m-spec veldians/solians in this diagram. I am aware that the terms listed also include nonbinary folks & that m-spec turians/veldians/cintheans exist!)

And before anyone says that vincian is gaylm exclusive, it is not. Here is the coining post, which explicitly states it was created as an alternative to achillean (MLM).

Avisabea: being abro in an aspec way, monospec way, and mspec way. (being abro non-exclusivly spectum-wise)

“Decided to make this since I figured it would be handy terms since some people only describe Abro as fluid through one spectrum, while we’re fluid through multiple. Here’s terms for when you’re Abro EXCLUSIVELY in either an Aspec, a Monospec, or a Mspec way. Plus combinations, and a term for when you’re Abro non-exclusively/in all three ways.

One who’s Abro exclusively in one way may also have orientations that fit under the other umbrellas, one’s just not Abro in them. (Example: An abro person who’s only abro in an mspec way, but is under the aspec umbrella, but their aspec identity isn’t abro and/or fluid.)

These terms aren’t supposed to be replacing any others, it’s just a way for abro people to describe what spectrum(s) they’re fluid in. You also don’t need to identify as Abro, as long as your orientation is fluid/changing through a spectrum, feel free to use these terms.”

These terms were originally posted on my other blog genderslyphen, on December 30th 2021.

A DNI (do not interact) banner with a very faded galaxy background. On the left of the banner there’s a flag as with a rounded side, the circle inside it showing an image of an ocean with the moon and clouds above it, the flag being the Abro- flag. coining a label for my orientation because I can’t find it anywhere

As the title says, I am going to make my own label for my orientation. I have found labels that are close, but there are always extra pieces of information that don’t really describe me. I know that you don’t have to fit a label exactly to use it, but I think this will give me peace.

Aversexual – A label for when you experience a significant amount of sexual attraction, but have feelings towards sex that do not align with this attraction. This could be anything you feel fits this definition, but some examples include feeling neutral, averse, repulsed, etc!

Etymology: Aver (from averse) + sexual

[ID: a seven striped flag. In descending order, the stripes are light purple, lavender, light pink, hot pink, red, grey, and black. End ID.]

Averromantic – A label for when you experience a significant amount of romantic attraction, but you have feelings towards romance that do not align with this attraction. This could be anything you feel fits this definition, but some examples include feeling neutral, averse, repulsed, etc!

Etymology: Aver (from averse) + romantic

[ID: a seven striped flag. In descending order, the stripes are green, light green, pastel yellow, light orange, red, grey, and black. End ID.]

Averaroace / Averrose – A label for when you experience a significant amount of romantic and sexual attraction, but have feelings towards sex and romance that do not align with this attraction. This could be anything you feel fits this definition, but some examples include feeling neutral, averse, repulsed, etc!

[ID: a seven striped flag. In descending order, the stripes are blue, light blue, light pastel green, yellow, red, grey, and black. End ID.]

Etymology: Aver (from averse) + aro + ace,

or Aver + ro (from romantic) + se (from sexual)

I only made these three flags, but the prefix aver- can be applied to any type of attraction!

obnebulant-mogai:

Thresiboy – a term for someone who is both a binary boy and a neoboy.

Etymology: Thres (from threshold) + i + boy

[ID: A flag with seven equal horizontal stripes. In descending order, the stripes are purple grey, lavender purple, soft blue, white, dark sky blue, dusk blue, and navy blue. End ID.]

Thresigirl: a term for someone who is both a binary girl and a neogirl.

Etymology: Thres (from threshold) + i + girl

[ID: A flag with seven equal horizontal stripes. In descending order, the stripes are purple grey, lavender purple, pastel pink, white, pink, pink magenta, and dark magenta. End ID.]

transneumasc flag but AMAB

according to mogai genders wiki, transneumasc refers to “AFAB transgender and non-binary people who identify as both transmasculine and transneutral.” i identify with this even though i’m AMAB, so i figured i’d do something similar to my AMAB transmasc & AFAB transfem flags.

this flag/edit refers to AMAB transgender and non-binary people who identify as both transmasculine and transneutral. basically i just changed the pink stripes at the ends (resembling AFAB-ness) to be blue (resembling AMAB-ness)

i also edited the 7 stripe version for those who prefer that.

if you’re confused on how an AMAB can be transmasc or an AFAB can be transfem, see this post (/safe). it’s similar to how AMAB demiboys or AFAB demigirls are still valid. trans is an umbrella term for anyone who doesn’t fully identify with their assigned birth sex, meaning than an AMAB who identifies with masc identities is totally valid, and so is an AFAB who identifies with fem identites, & both are technically trans.

sincerely, noivern, an AMAB transneumasc /gen

Lesbian & Veldian through a Cenelian lens.

I decided to make two sets of flags, a set based on my Forest Lesbian/Veldian/Cenelian flags, and another set based on the Aurora Lesbian flag, & Kenochoric’s Veldian/Turian & Cenelian flags. Either flags can be used as the “official flag”, I just wanted to use my own flags for something.

Personality Disorder (ICD-11) Pride Flags

mad-pride:

In the ICD-11, only the singular “personality disorder” is a diagnosis, with different personality traits and severities falling under that diagnosis.

Personality disorder: Personality disorder is characterized by problems in functioning of
aspects of the self, and/or interpersonal dysfunction (e.g., ability to
develop and maintain close and mutually satisfying relationships,
ability to understand others’ perspectives and to manage conflict in
relationships) that have persisted over an extended period of time.

Mild personality disorder: All general diagnostic requirements for Personality Disorder are met.
Disturbances affect some areas of personality functioning but not others, and may not be
apparent in some contexts.

Moderate personality disorder: All general diagnostic requirements for Personality Disorder are met.
Disturbances affect multiple areas of personality functioning. However, some areas
of personality functioning may be relatively less affected. There are
marked problems in most interpersonal relationships and the performance
of most expected social and occupational roles are compromised to some
degree.

Severe personality disorder: All general diagnostic requirements for Personality Disorder are met.
There are severe disturbances in functioning of the self (e.g., sense of
self may be so unstable that individuals report not having a sense of
who they are or so rigid that they refuse to participate in any but an
extremely narrow range of situations; self view may be characterized by
self-contempt or be grandiose or highly eccentric).
