Quoisonant Pride Flag

Quoisonancy/quoisonance or quoiphoria: a term for when you can’t tell whether you experience gender dysphoria/euphoria or not; the state of feeling that sonance terms don’t apply to them; being unsure what sonancy is, and therefore being unsure if one has experienced it or not; a person who does not identify themselves as having a particular sonant/phoric term; someone whose relationship with phorias/sonancies is complicated/confusing; an alternative to “questioning”, in order to communicate exhaustion or frustration with searching for a better sonance term for oneself; not knowing where one fits on the sonances spectrum.

There are probably innumerable/infinite ways of defining it, based on quoigender, quoi- orientations and quoigenic. Quoiphoric was coined by anon sent to @plurgai. Although anon not specified if this applies to sex/gender sonances or any type of -phoria, I remain it without mentioning in the definition, it can represent both and additionally including paraphoria, wistphoria etc. -Ap

Demistellar Pride Flag

Demistellar, semistellar or hemistellar: being partly nonaligned/unaligned or partially neutrally/nully/abinarily/abinarially aligned. This doesn’t necessarily reflect one’s gender identity, as a demistellar folk can be anonbinary or binary, for example.

Synonym with celestian (demistellarian/semistellarian/hemistellarian), however -ian terms are commonly defined as “non-binary genders from the galactian alignment system”, they can be used interchangeably without being nonbinary. But I’m creating these terms also because I they sound cool.

Solstellar: a person who is aligned with masculinity/manhood and nullity/neutrality, either simultaneously and/or fluidly, without necessarily being classified as non-binary.

Dialkiagender Pride Flag

Dialkiagender (or dialkigender): the fusion of dial(ga)gender and palki(a)gender; usually connected to feelings of positrois androgyny, being equally imposing, titanic and having a great impact on the person’s life. But it’s also mysterious, alluding any sort of pinpointed description other than “kind of an androgyne or ambinary but not quite 100% there” or something of the sort.

The individual feels like it can change or fluctuate depending on how much time they spend on an impactful space and how long an impacting experience lasts, but the initial feelings it’s connected to will still be there.

It’s like arceusgender without the giratinagender aspect. Dialkia is a fan term for the ancient statue in Eterna City (Pokémon Platinum/Adventures manga), which is ambiguously shaped to represent Dialga/Palkia. -Ap

Eclipian Pride Flag

Eclipian: both mesque/hexian and dioxian (jutian+romion with lunian+solian); deltheon and stellian (mspec gay & m-spec straight).

monstrousmogai:

@beyond-mogai-pride-flags since i’ve been using the term vaporwavic since i discovered it, i made an alternate flag! only four stripes because i use it to describe my nonbinary identity 🙂

i’d appreciate a rb or have it added to the vaporwavic post, so other people under this identity can see it 🙂

Hey. I’m seeing your post now. I’m reblogging this so Fy can see this and edit the post (if Fy come back). -Ap

Mesi AroAce Pride Flag

Mesi AroAce or Mesi AceAro: both mesi aromantic and mesi asexual; refers to someone who is on the aroace spectrum (both ace and aro spectrums) but is not completely suptiliaroace (suptilic aroace, suptiliaro/suptiliace).

It’s not necessarily amplusic/amplus-spec, as mesial means non-suptilic/non-strictly. Coined by @gendertherapist. -Ap

Fluxous Pride Flag

[ID: 10 stripes with two dark reds, red, yellow, 2 dark yellows, yellow, oranged and two oranges. End ID.] -Ap

Gendercollectress Pride Flag

image

Gender-collectress/collectrix: When your gender is femininely fluid or flux, but you can’t find just a few terms to describe what your fluctuating gender is, so you “collect” gender terms that fit you.

I’m not implying “collector” is masculine/gendered, but if you want alternatives there’s collectour, collectrum, or collecter (collectionist if you experience syllogomania/collectionism and hoarder if you have compulsive hoarding disorder).

It could be a form of feminine gender-collecting/hoard and/or a gendercollecter/gendercollectionist that uses grammatically “fem.” language. In my case, I use colecionadora de gênere in my native idiom. -Ap

Phrenodivergent Pride Flag

image

Phrenodivergence or phrenodivergency: phrenically/mentally divergent from typical, including those that are neurologically divergent and/or psychologically divergent from typicality.

-phren- is a word root derived from Greek φρήν, meaning soul/mind, similar to thym-. The word is meant to encompass both neurodivergences and psychodivergences, as an autistic experiencing psychotic traits and bipolar episodes I consider myself both things, and where I live I often see people distinguishing/splitting them.

Alternative words: phrenidivergent (phrenidivergency/phrenidivergence), thymidivergent (thymidivergency/thymidivergence), thymidivergent (thymodivergency/thymodivergence), phrenatypical (phrenoatypical/phreniatypical), thymatypical (thymoatypical/thymiatypical).

Phreniversity/phreniverse/thymidiverse/thymidiversity/thymiversity/thymiverse/phrenodiverse/phrenidiverse/phrenodiversity/phrenidiversity/thymodiversity/thymodiverse, as diversity is a vague concept, can encompass both phrenotypicals/phrenitypicals and phrenatypicals, useful for neurotypicals and psychotypicals associated with mental health and antimanicomial fight.

For this flag I used 9 colors findable in mad pride, neurodivergent and mentally ill flags. [ID.: nine stripes of light maroon, purple, violet, teal, light green, gray, desaturated red, darker red and neutral purple. End ID.] -Ap

Also a form of mesobinary. Although many people theorize the L- in lingender comes from male/female, there’s also an L in masculine/feminile. [ID.: 5 stripes of hot pink, yellow, white, yellow and blue. End ID.] -Ap

Viangi Pride Flag

image

Viandrogyne/viandrogynous, viaandrogyne/viaangi/viaandrogynous, viafemache, viavire/viaavire, viavirmina, viagynandre/viagynandrous, viapurella/viapuerella, viaeravir, viabirl/viabyrl, viaboygirl/viagirlboy, viaguygal/viagalguy or viambinary/viaambinary: being both viawoman/viafemale/viaera/viagirl/viagal/viapuella/viafemina/vialady/viavira/vialier (viagyne/viagynous/viagyny) and viaman/viamale/viavir/viaboy/viaguy/viapuer (viawerman/viawereman/viandrous/viaandrous/viandre/viaandre/viandry/viaandry) or viafem (viafemininity/viafeminine/viafemme) and viamasc (viamasculine/viamasculinity).

Xenxari Pride Flag

Xaexell, xaerell, faexell, xensari, cenxari or xenxari: a term for those who are xiaspec, niaspec and liaspec. They can experience the xia/nia/liaspec-ness in any configuration, including but not limited to: being all three at once, being static in one or two but the others are fluid or flux, or being fluid between all alignments.

It’s the combination of censari, xenrell and faexari. The coiner of the xenoic version of faesari and cenrell used viaspec (viagender spectral) terms instead of ideospec (ideogender spectrum), her explanations used finspec/minspec terms instead of fiaspec/miaspec, other times using them interchangeably. So xenxari can be linspec/xinspec too.

[ID: 6 stripes of orange, light orange, purple, light purple, green and soft green. End ID.] -Ap

Uranian Pride Flag

image

Uranian: a comprehensive term for LGBT+/queer people used in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. An English translation of the German word Urning. It’s often conceptualized as the “homosexual gender”, a “third gender” and a descriptor for gay men (urningthum) and lesbians (urningin/uranierin/urnin/urnigin), as opposed to dionian (dioning), meaning “heterosexual gender”, feminine/straight woman (dioningin) and masculine/straight man (dioningthum), stemming from the idea common in early sexology that a gay man has a partly female psyche, and a lesbian has a partially male soul.

Uranismus (uranism) has a taxonomy with: uranodioning (uranodionian), representing bisexuals, uranodioningin (bi women) and uranodioningthum (bi men); zwitter, intersex people; and others, making categories encompassing modern concepts of cross-orientation/parosexuality (conjunctive/disjunctive) and non-binarity/intermediate (zwischen).

They were all coined by Karl Ulrichs, which can be considered the modern father of MOGAI pioneering/queerstory. -Ap

Acey Pride Flag

Acey: a slang adopted/reclaimed by some ace people. Sometimes it’s used by aphobes/amisiacs lumping all aspec individuals as aceys, so it’s available for them to reclaim as well, however it’s misdirected, not all a-specs are acespec.

-Ap

Assexuade (assexuada/assexuado): an identity adopted/reclaimed by some acespec lusophones. It’s generally pejorative/acemisic (acephobic), possibly a slur. It denotes asex (assexo/sexless), as in, lacking sex organs, and beings who reproduce asexually. Some asexuals don’t find it offensive. Assexual was recognized officially after assexuad-, so asexual/s is/are often translated as assexuado/s.

Spanish probably has its equivalent asexuade (asexuado/asexuada). Assexuadx can be translated as asexed or asexuated. It’s flexed with gendered suffixes, as opposed to assexuais. This word is also used sometimes as desexualized/non-sexual, as in lacking sexual activity, while not essentially asexually oriented. -Ap

And this is a conformant term. Using colours from transn’t and gender conforming flags. -Ap

Transpronominal Pride Flag

Transpronomial (transpronoun): using pronoun(s) different from your assigned pronoun at birth; pronouns that do not align with or are uncommon for one’s AGAB (assigned gender at birth); not using one’s assigned pronoun; someone who is not cispronominal (cispronomial/cispronoun).

And since I once used this as a synonym of cross-pronouning, I suggest enantiopronoun (enantiopronominal/enantiopronomial) as an alternative and specific term.

Just as not all trans people consider themselves gender nonconforming (GNC), the same can happen with transpronominal people with PNC, for example, a she/her binary unipronomial trans woman and a he/him unipronominal binary trans man. -Ap

Millions of Dead Genders: A MOGAI Retrospective

gender-resource:

Hello, All. This is Gent of Gender-Resource. This morning, the Youtube algorithm suggested an intriguing video for my wife and I to watch. There were quite a few conclusions drawn about the MOGAI community and those that in habit it that I would like to address in this response. Very plainly, I believe that Lily is very ignorant regarding the topic and has unintentionally created a somewhat problematic video. While there are some very good points made in this video, there are also a lot of really, really bad ones. Some of these bad takes are discussed below.

The purpose of this post is not to call-out Lily or insight harassment. This post was created to critique the video and respond to some of the points made within it from perspective of someone who is intimately involved with the MOGAI community. Anything that is found in quotes is a direct from Lily within the video.

This critique is really long, so it had been placed under a ‘keep reading’.

I’m a DMAB transfem guy and I reclaim the term for me in both senses, and I feel TME (transmisogyny excempt) and DFAB fem men are also included in the word. -A-P.

Bxrl Pride Flag

Bxrl or Ambxrl: A gender that is both (am)birl and agender/no gender. The combination of gxrl/gxl and bxy/gxy. It could be either a(n am)bxgender or a trxgender.

Ambirl is the combination of ambigender and boygirl/girlboy. Bxrl is not the same as xmbirl/xambirl, which means xoyxirl/xirlxoy (xoyrl/xoirl), similar to xangi. -AP

Using androgyne hot pink with trans flag- Ap

Nameflux flag? Foe fluxing the nominal intensity, similar but not quite the same as namefluid

Lesboy Pride Flag

image

Lesboy (boy lesbian): a cusper lesbian, cross-aligned (guy-aligned/solarian gal or girl-aligned/lunarian boy), multigender/polygender (girlboy/boygirl), sapphogender/lesbogender guy or otherwise a boy that is gay for women.

Similar to saphboy/saphguy, gyneurnimasculine (lesboi/saphboi), boydyke/guydyke and lesbutch. Just as these terms don’t mean necessarily “lesbian man” or “male lesbian”, lesboys aren’t all men, they can be pleonotic boys.

[ID: 6 stripes of dark violet, redish pink, pastel orange, light cyan, soft blue and darker blue. End ID.] – AP

libragender:

[Image ID: A flag with 4 horizontal stripes. The colors from top to bottom are yellow, light-purple, blue, and dark teal. End ID.]

Orientated/Oriented

Orientated/Oriented: experiencing a non-romantic, non-sexual attraction that is significant enough to label in addition to romantic and/or sexual orientation(s). The attraction being experienced does not need to be defined. Can be used alone or combined with other terms (e.g. gay-orientated).

With both oriented aroace and oriented alloaro being coined, I thought it’d be nice to have a general term/flag for anyone to use. Orientated is a common alternative spelling for oriented. I didn’t actually know what else to call it (it seems silly to coin a new term but use the same definition), so that’s why I just put both terms

Noboric Pride Flag

image

Noboric: an umbrella term for anyone NOT attracted to binary people or anybody who is not boric.

This includes enborix and anattractionals/panaspecs. It doesn’t mean necessarily being nomascic and nofemaric since there are non-binary men and non-binary women. – Ap

Boric Pride Flag

Boric: an umbrella term to describe any attraction to binary people and a standalone label for anyone who experiences non-straight attraction to binaries.

Borics can still be enborics too.

I made some variations of the hetera- flag I used for a request yesterday

Left is heteracespec, center is heterarospec, right is heteraspec

Note that I have this flag as an alternative to the straight flag specifically for straight aspec people, just like I have the transhet flag for straight trans people

DFAB Flag

DFAB: Designated Female At Birth.

The meanings are the same of the DMAB instead this one represent things differently since it’s about DFAB gender modalities and sex traits.

Another reminder: DFAB doesn’t always equate ©AFAB, one can be CAMAB (Coercively Assigned Male At Birth) and DFAB simultaneously.

-Ap

DMAB Flag

DMAB: Designated Male At Birth.

Not always DMAB people are ©AMAB (Coercively Assigned…), DMAB often conote sex traits and someone can be both CAFAB (Coercively Assigned At Birth) and DMAB at the same time.

Being DMAB doesn’t mean being male, since someone can be DMAB and transition to be female or neutrois.

First and last stripes (blue and wine red) represent both cisness and transness, the middle two gender modalities beyond trans and cis.

neopronouns:

rosboy: a feminine boy; someone who both considers themselves a boy and has some significant connection to femininity, either in their gender or expression; a feminine-aligned boy; an umbrella term for all identities that involve being both a boy and feminine

azurgirl: a masculine girl; someone who both considers themselves a girl and has some significant connection to masculinity, either in their gender or expression; a masculine-aligned girl; an umbrella term for all identities that involve being both a girl and masculine

these flags are based on the feminenby and masculenby flags and the man and woman flags! prefixes come from the words “rose” and “azure”, which are specific shades of pink and blue respectively. both of these prefixes are similar to how many european languages say ‘blue’ and ‘pink’, and the english words both relate to nature, which i felt unified the terms!
