spectrosexual / enth

“i am enth, i am spectrosexual.”

redesigned the spectrosexual flag.

spectrosexual is the attraction to folkloric ghosts. i specify folklore because not all ghosts are fictional, and the assumption that ghost partners are fictional are not always received well. many enths are also witches or practice witchcraft, which adds to the mythology/folklore aspect rather than a fictional aspect.

not all enths like dead bodies, and those who do shouldn’t use the term to mean the attraction towards the dead. ghosts themselves are not exactly dead but are the shadows of a spirit, which is a separate entity from it’s body.

spectrosexual relationships are often called “spirit relationships” or “ghost relationships” and involve at least a ghost and a person. to introduce new language, we can use the term “binding” to refer to those relationships. “my binding to her was fun while it lasted,” or “their binding is cute.”

a ghost lover or partner could be known as a “spiramor”. “my spiramor is coming with me today,” and “he’s my spiramor.”

ghost marriage (posthumous marriage) is possible, even if not legally binding in many countries. These marriages usually involve a seance and a celebration if possible.

enths are considered asexual due to their attraction.
