This is the Bessiean butch flag, a flag for black bisexual butch sapphics. Bessiean as a term is inspired by the late African American jazz singer Bessie Smith, who was a bisexual woman who had numerous relations with both men and women.

This flag is exclusively for those who are black, bisexual, butch, AND sapphic. You can’t be three out of four, you must be all four in order to use this flag. The label itself is only for black bi sapphics. If you don’t like black exclusive labels, that’s not my problem, even if you’re black yourself.
