coining a label for my orientation because I can’t find it anywhere

As the title says, I am going to make my own label for my orientation. I have found labels that are close, but there are always extra pieces of information that don’t really describe me. I know that you don’t have to fit a label exactly to use it, but I think this will give me peace.

Aversexual – A label for when you experience a significant amount of sexual attraction, but have feelings towards sex that do not align with this attraction. This could be anything you feel fits this definition, but some examples include feeling neutral, averse, repulsed, etc!

Etymology: Aver (from averse) + sexual

[ID: a seven striped flag. In descending order, the stripes are light purple, lavender, light pink, hot pink, red, grey, and black. End ID.]

Averromantic – A label for when you experience a significant amount of romantic attraction, but you have feelings towards romance that do not align with this attraction. This could be anything you feel fits this definition, but some examples include feeling neutral, averse, repulsed, etc!

Etymology: Aver (from averse) + romantic

[ID: a seven striped flag. In descending order, the stripes are green, light green, pastel yellow, light orange, red, grey, and black. End ID.]

Averaroace / Averrose – A label for when you experience a significant amount of romantic and sexual attraction, but have feelings towards sex and romance that do not align with this attraction. This could be anything you feel fits this definition, but some examples include feeling neutral, averse, repulsed, etc!

[ID: a seven striped flag. In descending order, the stripes are blue, light blue, light pastel green, yellow, red, grey, and black. End ID.]

Etymology: Aver (from averse) + aro + ace,

or Aver + ro (from romantic) + se (from sexual)

I only made these three flags, but the prefix aver- can be applied to any type of attraction!
