It’s that time of year again, folks! That’s right! It’s August 13th! Which means that, yes, you are indeed being subjected to this post once again!

For those that are new, August 13th is the date the first post of this blog was made. In 2016. Three years ago today. 

That’s unbelievable to me. I didn’t think anyone would pay any mind to my posts when I first started it. We’ve come so far since then.

We went through a lot this year. This blog was almost sacrificed to the purge of MOGAI-related blogs in late 2018. I figured it’s time was up and that I should just move on. But thankfully we were restored only a few months later! And it was really moving to return to so many concerned voices in our inbox wondering where we were. 

Regardless of how many times I have to take a break from Tumblr, or how long, for whatever reasons, I still come back here. Despite the negativity, it’s the joy of those who discover a term that fits them or have a flag made for them that keeps me coming back. 

I’m really grateful to all of you. Let’s have another good year, okay?
